Episode 88: Cousins once removed
Jeremy's cousin Patrick comes to visit. Jeremy doesn't take to him at first. What consequences will come out of this action?

I thought this one was pretty good. It was definitely a nice change of pace from focusing on Odd and Kiwi. Also the way it ended was good. Seemed Jeremy made a new friend and was worried about nothing.

I wuold have liked to see some flashbacks about the cousins past, but it was good to see them have there feud end.

The skid battle without power was pretty cool, and it was nice to see William not have to fight against the Lyoko crew for one episode.

Wasn't going to happen. After the debacle with William, I kinda doubt they'd be taking in new members, much less letting them go to Lyoko without a heavy escort and lots of preparatory work. The last thing they need is Xana getting another puppet.

Me too. If you wanna see Sissi on Lyoko, you should check out my fanfic that's mentioned in my signature. When I was reading the episode description for the last episode of the CL series, apparently Sissi....umm, better go read it so I don't spill. I'm gonna take that turn of events as an advantage for my fic. I was thinking of Sissi having a purple Lyoko outfit similiar to Yumi's, and that she'll have a purple lightsaber.:anime:

Anyhoo....I kinda liked this episode better than A Space Oddity, sorta. It had more suspense in it, especially when the XANA-possessed Herv was battling out against Jeremy on the computer program, Aelita was having trouble with the Skid, and Jeremy's cousin was battling possessed Sissi.

I have to say I really enjoyed this episode more than Space Oddity. Not that S.O. was bad, but there was a lot more action in Cousins as well as a new character and a possessed Herb and Sissy.

I'd like for Patrick to have stayed on as a new student, even if he was a secondary character. Jeremy could really use someone to hang with that wasn't part of the Lyoko group just to help him get the weight of fighting Xana off his shoulders for a few hours at a time.

All in all it was somthing of a nail-biter and I fully enjoyed sitting on the edge of my seat.

But I'm still wondering one thing: are we going to see Jeremy on Lyoko before series end, or is that going to be the one juicy morsel that we don't get to sink our teeth into...:?

Had XANA been able to perma-possess them too, Sissi, Herve, and Nicholas would have made a good Lyoko warrior team for William and evening the odds, it's a shame such a concept never occured. :sad:
