New Dethklok on the Fix right now and On Adult Swim Sunday Night at 11:45. Here's the sixth episode of Season two, "Cleanzo".
SYNOPSIS:
"Dr. Rockso, the Rock n Roll clown, gets help from Deathklok to overcome and come c c c lean!"
REVIEW:
Probably one of the more up and down Dethklok epsiodes. There were defintley moments that I didn't really like (Dr. Rockso's opening "behind the scenes" bio on how he turned to drugs, the songs Murderface wrote (though that was probably the point), Dr. Rockso's going clean video and the ending) but there were also parts I did (the guys egging on Murderface to write songs, Toki not having his license, Murderface breaking his guitar both times he tried writing, the manager shocking Dr. Rockso more then needed and Nathan's letter on how he hates Dr. Rockso) so I think it averages out to be an okay episode. There are overall stronger Dethkloks but this one defintley wasn't bad.
Well that's it. Enjoy everyone!

i really wish they would stop bringing this character back, he's not even remotely funny. overall, this episode was a complete disappointment. even the music sucked.

Toki would sympathize.
Murderface can't write, Skwisgaar and Toki can't read music, Pickles is the only one who's ever been in a band before Dethklok...how did they get together anyway?
Yeah, let's go, Lennon and McCartney.
Murderface unplugged.
Dr. Mispronunciation survived the yard wolves..
"'Dr. Rockso, I hate you and I think you should die you are an idiot and I hate your voice there is no room on this paper to properly describe how much I hate you go die.' There, is that good?"
Euugh. Like KISS without the makeup.
"I'm ca-ca-ca-cleeeean."
How very public service announcement.

dethklok saved dr rockso  thats a good development :) I think he looks even more weird without his clown makeup though  thats a positive episode to leave off on until the season continues next year :)

:p such a good intervention speech!

Total meh. This is the definitive reason why minor one-note characters don't deserve their own episodes. There were some amusing moments here and there, but I hope that the writers have gotten Dr. Rockzo out of their systems now; he's just not that funny or interesting to keep turning up again and again, IMO.

This is could of been so good, with some decent in-jokes about various musicians being on drugs, everyone from Tommy Lee/any member of Motley Crew, or Hendrix, even Belushi, but no, bits of it made me think of the broke down 80's characters on RC....Not in a good way....
I loved the motor bike with extra sidecars and the backstories are always good! The Muderface writing songs had a nice Ringo Starr edge to it.
BUT>>>>>>
It was a little obvious for these guys, they are normaly far more astute, I thought I'd always blindly love every ep but this one left me a little cold...I'm actually a little upset and let down! :o   :crying: :(
Pretty good episode. While it was funny all the way through, I only laughed out loud once. Not the best way to leave off this part of the season but then again with the weird scheduling this show has been under I guess we have no choice.

Actually, Skwisgaar explained in the episode Snakes N' Barrels that he was in a LOT of bands before Dethklok, my favorite band name for one of his former bands was "**** Face Academy" and "Smugly Dismissed" those are just GOOD band names.
However, the question of "How did they get together?" is something I'D like to know myself. A band who is not only is mercilessly bleak and dark, but also has the two fastest guitarists in the world in the same band, maybe they can't read music, but they can still PLAY. In fact, the whole band is kind of a super-group. The lyrics are even darkly funny at times.
"I'm ca-ca-ca-cleeeean."
I laughed when he said that. I kind of dig Dr. Rockso, so I LIKED this episode. I even found it funny when Murderface ended up writing a ballad with his "Grandpa's guitar". His song reminded me of "Nude Love" by Master Shake. I also found it funny he ended up destroying the Grandpa's Guitar twice.
Also, am I the only one to notice that Rockso was being tortured with the same device used on Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back? I found that amusing.

Rockso is a take off on David Lee Roth, everything from the cocaine to the High kicks.. The Snakes and Barrels, see Guns and Roses. It's great stuff.
Also "Kiss" is a from of rock and roll clowns. They aren't metal or brutal if grandmothers go to their concerts.

Haha! Thankyou! You just saved this ep for me! I can't believe I didn't notice that!
Also the David Lee Roth thing...he really is! I gues I know more about black/death metal than a lot of, umm dare I say cheesier stuff :o

but, KISS were brutal in their day! People thought they were in legue with satan!
'Knights in Satan's Service.' Kiss actually stood for: "Keep It Simple, Stupid" (I might be wrong here....) Based on a phrased first used during the apollo space programe....
But then they probably just thought it sounded cool....
P.S
(There is some silly metal I like.... )
