I'll just be greeting trick-or-treaters at the door, but I plan to do so while in costume. And of course, that costume will be Torgo, the shuddery and lump-kneed caretaker from the legendarily awful movie "Manos" The Hands of Fate". It's the same costume I've worn for the previous two years - here's a photo from last year (that's my sister on the right, by the way): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v477/JB86/Halloween_2006.jpg
Of course, everyone knows that it's not enough to just dress as Torgo, so I also do the walk, the spastic movements, the voice ("The MASter wAnted you to HAVe this cANDy...hE wanted YOu to hAVe it but I'M gIVing it to yOU..."), and I even have the Haunting Torgo Theme playing endlessly in the background whenever I open the door. And the best part is, to date, not a single person who's come to the door has known who I'm supposed to be.

I am going to be....
a girl who is handing out candy. =OOO
Because I haven't gone out for Halloween in years, and only seniors can dress up in my high school. (& being as I'm only a junior... =/ )

My mom always makes me hand out the candy now.
But I'lll probably do the same thing as last year.... wait until a bunch a teenages (my age) are still doing some last second trick or treating, then offor to come along with them; grab a football, and go as a Football Player.

I'm 19 so my trick or treating days are over but I did want to go out just one last time. My mom and sister keep saying someone is going to call the police on me, but I don't care. If that plan doesn't happen, I'll just go to some party or some event.

I won't be anything. I will be home alone on Halloween, and really don't feel like passing out candy when I'm the only one in the house. So, I'll be keeping the porch light off, eating candy and watching movies ;)

Most likely myself, because I'm not going out and I'm not going to any Halloween parties, as far as I know. People dress up in my school on Halloween though. Maybe, I'll find my old Scream robe and wear it. Who knows?

I'll probably end up being some kind of samurai/ninja combo, whatever I can cobble together while including my wooden sword I bought this summer. I'll think of some creative excuse to use it all.

I haven't dressed up since I was 12, so this year I'll most likely be chillin' in my dorm room unless something comes up. There's some stuff going on at the school the weekend before so I may check that out but as for Halloween itself, I'll probably watch the live Ghost Hunters episode.

I'm currently thinking of dressing up in school since there's a Halloween Costume Contest. I just don't know what yet.... /:
Either that, or I'll just hang out with friends and hand out candy when I get home.
I'll most likely wear the same (admittedly cool) werewolf mask I've worn the past two years. I don't go trick-or-treating anymore, I just pass out candy. Which is fine, as I always like seeing the kids' costumes, and anyway, I can't see out of the stupid mask well enough to walk without tripping over something.

I've jokingly considered dressing as The Angry Video Game Nerd, but sometime after I lose some weight, I've considered dressing up as Clark Kent. After all, I believe dressing up as Superman is a "been there worn that". Basically I'd wear a sweater with a Superman shirt underneath, for the effect. As I naturally wear glasses.
While we're discussing Halloween, in addition to the candy, I'm going to hand out some comic related items (poster/card).

One time, last year, I knew this guy at work who painted his whole face to look like a skull-face. I was the only person who appreciated it. Typically, nobody at my job celebrates Halloween as far as I know. I may just wear my "The Hills Have Eyes 2" shirt that I scored from last year's NYCC and paint a scar on my face. I intend to do this also for MoCCA's 6th Anniversary Halloween Bash on the 27th.
EDIT: I can tell you what I'm NOT going to do (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVSnL1jMx2s) for Halloween this year, and not because I've already done it.

I was at Spirit yesterday looking around. I picked up a good-looking Freddy glove, mostly just to have one, and thought about getting the rest of the costume for Halloween. But the sweater (which actually looked pretty well-made) was just over $40, the mask (which didn't look that great) was about $35, and the hat was a flimsy semi-plastic piece for $30. Would have cost almost $100 altogether.
I already have an almost-complete Indiana Jones costume (minus the whip), so I think I'll just do that instead since I've been on such an Indy lately with the new film coming out. :D

Dressing up doesn't really fit into my Halloween anymore.
I usually use the holiday as an excuse to expand my collection of horror movies (of which I have very few). I buy a new one (or two) every October and then watch them on Halloween night. This year I bought the director's cut of The Exorcist. The last tim I saw that movie was when it was re-released in the theaters several years back.

Jesus. There's a halloween party at my school and one girl suggested that dressing as Jesus is a good way to get laid. So, I went to the costume shop today and bought a Jesus costume for $50. At that price it had damn well better get me laid. Though, you know, I really don't know too much about Jesus. How do I play the part? What pickup lines would Jesus use?

Not if I don't learn how to play the part it won't. I mean, didn't Jesus speak latin? I don't know latin. What if I speak old English? Is that Jesus-esque?
I did come up with one pickup line though. "How about I be Jesus, you be a cross, and you nail me all night." What do you think?
You know, I have some shower sandals that look like the type of sandals Jesus would wear(the costume doesn't come with shoes). I don't know, though. Something feels odd about wearing shower sandals to a party. I kind of have to drag my feet when I'm wearing them so they'll make a sound whenever I walk. Not to mention it'll probably be kind of cold out in two weeks. If I go to the bar afterwards, will they let me in with shower sandals? But, I guess there's no real alternative. If you go as Jesus you need to wear some type of sandals. If I wear sandals, should I shave the top of my feet?
I'm going to be wonder woman!
You know what's weird. All the Wonder Woman costumes I've seen being sold in stores have a dress instead of the bathing suit thing she has going on in the shows and comics. What's the deal with that? I want to see women wearing the bathing suit thing, damn it!

I'd say watch "Passion of the Christ" enough and learn a few lines In whatever language they're speaking.I don't think a chick will care If she thinks your saying, "Let's go have a party of our own." in Latin when your really saying,"Forgive them,Father."

Well, I called up a friend from college and asked her what she thought of the line, and she said it was the lamest thing she's ever heard. So, no, I don't think I'll be using that line. I'm still concerned about where I put my wallet and keys if there's no pockets on the costume...

I'm mostly using clothes I already have. A yellow short sleeve collared shirt, khakis, some dress shoes, and a tie. The only things I've had to buy was the glasses and some hairspray. Besides that I just used my computer to make a fake ID, just to put the icing on the cake. Previous years I've gone to school as the Scarecrow, The Joker, V and so forth. Okay, for my anime club's Halloween party, I was just going to wear a tie because 1) I don't know the Halloween costume policy at my internship (TV stations WJCL and WTGS) and 2) I don't wear ties that much, if at all. I was planning on giong as a yuppie, but since I found a hockey stick in my house, I ll just put on my Thrashers jersey and go as a hockey player. Who wears a tie. And no mask/helmet.

So this is what happened last night:
After swim practice, I went over to my friend's house, picked him up, and we went trick-or-treating by my place.
He went as a Lawyer/Baseball Player/Football Player High School Student. (He had a sweatshirt with a lawyer logo on it, a Milwaukee Brewers Cap, and my Green Bay Packers football)
I was a Poker Player. (I had my "Feelin' Lucky?" shirt on, a pair of Sunglasses, and a stack of poker chips)
Well, we played more catch than trick-or-treating. At everyone lamp post we got to we stopped to play some catch. We got some candy in between.
1st lamp post: Warm up, we just threw the ball around.
2nd lamp post: We practiced street routes. After about 100 times, we finally got it.
3rd lamp post: I was aiming for a stop sign, and my friend would try to jump the rote a get an interception. This was the most fun. My aim was nearly perfect from 20yds away. Plus, there was some grass in the direction my friend was running, so sometimes he would try to make a dive catch. It took awhile to get it, but I had to stop throwing the ball away from my friend, and throw it more like a crossing route.
Well, we got a decent amount of candy, and we played some Madden06 afterwards.
My friend asked me what I thought the final score would be. I said that he would win 34-10.
I managed to jump out to a 10-0 lead after the first quarter, but then my friend found his grove. Final score...
34-10
I can’t believe I predicted the score correctly.
Scary
And that was my Halloween night.
