Note 1: Alright, I'm just guessing on the number, but hey, it's gotta be close to that by now.

Note 2: This isn't about cults.

Meticulously, I just made a delectable peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Not much of a fan of peanut butter, I only use a little to mellow out the sweetness of the jelly or jam. As I was fumbling with the pain that is known as jelly, I thought to myself, 'oi, TZ needs a new thread.' Now, here we are! =D

I'm not even bothering with a poll because there are just far too many choices, but I want to know- what's your favourite type of jelly/jam/marmalade? Least favourite?

I don't really care for marmalades, since they're mostly citrus fruits. I also dislike gooseberry jelly. However, I adore raspberry and mixed berry jams. I love fresh jam, from farmer's markets or that ilk. The kind with big chunks of berries right in it. Yummy.

On with it, children.

Mmm, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I love those, my dad is great at making them. I love grape jelly, it's really delicious. I also love strawberry jam on toast, even though I don't have that a lot. It's so sweet yet tart, delicious, especially when fresh. Marmalade is okay, it's a bit too citrus-y for me. I'll have it on a slice of bread at times, though.

Same. I don't really like them, to be honest. I prefer butter or cream cheese on my bread related food.

Strawberry and Boysenberry are what you'll usually find in my fridge. They're my all-purpose jams that I use in toasts, plain croissants, and sandwiches.

For scones I rather like Raspberry, and I've been using Apricot and Cherry preserves in baked goods.

I've never been a fan of Grape jelly. I can tolerate it, but it wouldn't be my pick. Marmalades I don't really like either, but I'll eat it with seafood like Coconut Shrimp.

Not a fan of peanut butter??? I like peanut butter and jam, but not together. Peanut butter and honey is good stuff though.

I would agree with the cream cheese thing. Nothing beats a nice bagle and cream cheese.

And on the peanut butter side, I like peanut butter. I can't eat it in like large amounts at a time cause it makes me gag but if I just nibble/lick the peanut butter it's good. Also good for sandwitches, no jelly/Jam though, just PB.

my all time favorite Jam is Grape and I use it when I make toast. I don't use it when I make PB sandwiches because having both on bread makes me gag and dizzy. I'm also a fan of peanut butter and honey sandwiches, too! :D

Strawberry and Raspberry jam/jelly I can go with. I really don't like marmalade either. I usually like jam on my toast or bagels. I rarely have them with peanut butter sandwiches, since I like peanut butter & cheese sandwiches better.

You were confusing. =[

Question- do cows like jelly? o.OI was not confusing, I said my neighbor Carlton was walking his dog Cledus and the dog was so big he had to go to Farm and Fleet and get a neck strap for a cow, instead of a collar...

I would say cows would like jelly. Cows like everything.

American Jell-o = British jelly
American Jelly = British jam
American Jam = British preserves

I was an America grape jelly person for most of my life til I discovered the wonder of cream tea and scones in Penzance in England. Then I was a strawberry jam and clotted cream person. So yay for all of the above.

How do you really know its disgusting, you haven't tried it so right now I demand you go out and get a jar of marshmellow fluff and put it on your bread. White bread not that wheat crap, it doesn't tast as good on wheat crap.

Also around here we have these honey sticks about the size of a straw, they are really good and I just had one with raspberry in it, oooh that was yummy. and they're only 30 cents each too.

Like say a Reeces cup or a peanut butter brownie, or jelly on an English muffin (And Jam too).

So no, I'm not a Peanut ButterXJelly shipper. :p

jam/jelly/marmalade>butter (butter is just too fattening)

I also have a liking to "odd" jams and jellys, such as mint, chili peper, etc., and tapanades. You're supposed to put these on meats, vegetables, and other savory foods instead of bread. I know it sounds weird, but paired with the right food, it tastes downright delicious.

My theory about Goobber is that it's for people too lazy to spread stuff on their bread twice, or for people who get confused with the "mutiple" steps of making a PBJ. It doesn't taste bad, good thing to carry if you go camping as it lessens the amount of stuff you carry. (I've done this.)

Who here liked the peanut butter with honey? How do you eat that without getting your jaw glued shut?
