I really like, nay love eggs. They're yummy. Do you love eggs? C'mon, you can say it. The eggs won't get weirded out and tell you they "need space."

I like 'em scrambled, nice and soft, not dried.

Seems that the top for now is "Scrambled". I, myself, voted for Soft Boiled. Sorry, the slowness is comin' on again......I don't get it. :p

Eww, I hate eggs. Plus, they make me break out in a rash.

I like omelets too. And even then, the omelet should be slightly burnt. That's about the only way I can eat them. No softness or squishiness! And that little white membrane attached to the yolk must be picked off before preparation. I can't eat eggs by themselves. It makes me sick. And when I really begin think about what eggs actually ARE, it's even worse. *retches*

Hey, this is a bit of a tangent, but does anyone remember those "Incredible, Edible Egg" commercials they used to air on Saturday mornings? Do they still show them? Ahh...nostalgia.

Scrambled, very dry (hate getting a wet part in my eggs), with lots of salt & pepper. When I little I used to eat them with ketchup, now I can't imagine eating them like that.

I'm not a real big egg fan, but I chose just the whites, although it depends. If it's hard boiled I like dipping the white part in salt and throwing away the nasty yellow ball inside. If it's scrambled, it's got to have the yellow. If it's fried, I don't like the yellow, except to poke at. And omelettes, well I've never had an omelette without the yellow, but all in all, I'm not a big yellow fan.

I like my eggs scrambled overall. In sandwiches I make them over easy with cheese and either ham, canadian bacon, or regular bacon. Poached is good in soup and omelettes are super yummy. :)

I like my eggs scrambled! Now don't think i'm gross. I like em with a tad of milk in them ( you but that in before you cook them, duh) Then after they are cooked i like to put salt, pepper, and Ketchup.

My favorite recipie for eggs:
Fry up two sausage patties (preferbly Ol' Folks brand) with a handful of hash browns (I use Simply Potatoes brand) then when they are cooked well enough, I crack two eggs in the pan, scramble them together with the mix, then add shredded cheddar. I put it all together on a soft totilla shell, put either salsa or ranch dressing on it, and wrap it up like a burrito. Delicious.

I recently wrote a short play about a man who wants to make egg salad, but he's afraid to because the eggs are against him. It's called "The Eggs Are Against Me".
Eventually he dies of malnutrition. It's a tragedy

It's just an unfertilized unicellular chicken embryo. [listens to the sound of vomiting off-camera] Oops.
Scrambled. Con queso. On bread.
Or fried, with bacon and grits.

I once raised chickens. On one of my first tries in incubating an egg, a little chick developed most of the way but died during the last few days before it was supposed to hatch. So the egg had an almost fully developed chick that was all yolky. It was sad and kinda gross.

Hey, that's cool, I didn't know you raised chickens before. Did you live on a farm or something?
Well, the part about the yolky chick wasn't cool.

Nah, although in DE there's a farm right in my backyard, they had horses and cows and sheep, but I think they quit, because everything's been torn down.
Actually the chicken story is a pretty long story and I'm not sure how interesting it'd be to everyone, so I guess you can pm me if you wanna hear the whole deal, including the inspirational but tragic story of one brave chicken.

Anyone had something called (Don't know how to spell it, but sounds like) Chill-Achilles. I first had it at a Greek restaurant when I moved to LA, though I'm pretty sure the dish is a Spanish or Mexican. It's scrambled eggs with slightly softened corn chips stirred in and a thin salsa-like sauce. At the restaurant I went to they served it with spanish rice with fresh cilantro and black beans topped with crumbled feta. ~Drools Homer style~
Anyone had this awesome stuff?
The way I usually make my eggs is over-easy, but sometimes I make a giant omlet. I'll pan fry some sliced mushrooms and garlic ina pretty wide pan, then add a block of frozen spinach and soften it. (Sometimes I put in Ham) I mix up some eggs with milk (1 tablespoon of milk per egg) and dump it over the veggies, cover it and reduce the heat.
After it's pretty much cooked (I never time it, I just poke at it with afork now and again) it put cheddar and parmesan on top and turn off the heat.
When it's cool I cut it like a pizza with a spatula. It's really good cold too. Try it at home.

Scrambled eggs...somehow they taste better when cooked with lard. Bizarre.
I like mine with ketchup along with hash browns, bacon (or sausage links), and pancakes. I have this once every couple of months, so when I do I go all out!

I thought everything was supposed to taste better if fried in lard. But it's the least healthy thing for you, which is why it's supposed to be so good. Personally, I've never had anything fried in lard. Not only is it seen pretty much as unhealthy, but it just sounds gross....lard . I mean, ew.

Yeah lard just doesn't sound appealing. I dont know why, but I've always equated Lard with Poop. Like, "dont step on that dog's lard!" I think it's some kind of childhood misinterpretation that's carried on.

It's melted animal fat--grease, to be blunt. I've got a couple of big jars of beef lard in my kitchen, if you want them. Although bacon lard does make a nice cornbread, or fried potato slices. But I'll admit I haven't looked at lard the same way since its application in Stephen King's The Tommyknockers.... :shudder:

To me, eggs are one of the worst tasting and most disgusting foods, but my parents make me eat one sometimes.

Even if you don't like it, that's usually how they're prepared in restrauants and such. You try to pretend, but it's in there...
