If I am remembering right, The Gentleman Ghost is a villian on one of the episodes.

Since the box art says 32 "cartoons," this will no doubt feature the first 8 of the 15 episodes (as each episode had one full-length adventure and three shorts.

If they are going in airing order, the episodes we are most likely to see with this set are:

1. Brain Machine (Batman, Robin and Wonder Woman), Joy Ride (Wonder Twins), Invasion of the Earthors (SF), Whirlpool (Aquaman and Black Vulcan)

2. The Secret Four (Superman, Batman and Robin), Tiger on the Loose (Wonder Twins), The Mysterious Time Creatures (SF), The Antidote (Wonder Woman and Apache Chief )

3. Invasion of the Hyydronoids (Batman, Robin and Aquaman), Hitchhike (Wonder Twins), City in a Bottle (SF), Space Emergency (Wonder Woman, Hawkman and Hawkgirl)

4. Doctor Fright (Superman and Wonder Woman), Drag Race (Wonder Twins), Day of the Plant Creatures (SF), Fire (Batman, Robin, and Rima)

5. The Monster of Dr. Droid (Superman and Wonder Woman), Vandals (Wonder Twins), Super Friends Versus Super Friends (SF), The Energy Mass (Batman, Robin and the Atom)

6. The Enforcer (Wonder Woman and Aquaman), Shark (Wonder Twins), Planet of the Neanderthals (SF), Flood of Diamonds (Aquaman and Green Lantern)

7. Forbidden Power (Batman, Robin and Wonder Woman), Pressure Point (Wonder Twins), The Lion Men (SF), Day of the Rats (Batman, Robin and Black Vulcan)

8. Invisible Menace (Superman and Aquaman), Initiation (Wonder Twins), Coming of the Arthropods (SF), River of Doom (Wonder Woman and Rima)

The Ghost was actually in the 15th episode of this run, so odds are we'll see that on Volume Two.

I'm buying the DVD, once it hits the stores. I definitely can't wait until Warner Brothers releases The All-New Superfriends, Volume 2, which will feature the full half-hour episodes from the 1977-78 season. Volume 1 will feature all the SF shorts, including those with the Wonder Twins, from that very season. Expect Warner Brothers to eventually release the remaining Superfriends' series on DVD, over the next several years-it's a true cartoon classic, which continues to sell.

Well, after this series is finished, all that's left is 'World's Greatest', the shorts from the early 80's, and the original 73 season. That's probably another five sets at the most, not counting 'Galactic Guardians' (October 30th), and 'The All New Superfriends Hour''s two sets.

Okay, so now that WHV is at least making an effort to release SuperFriends in somewhat complete sets, I'm wondering if/when they make the switch to HD-DVD/Blu-Ray... will they actually include more content, or release the series chronologically, or simply force us all to simply double-dip?

i hope the dvd set will be complete, and uncut. when they aired on boomerang, some of them were missing the in-between segments (health, safety, etc.)

Expect the DVD set to be complete and unedited. I definitely would like to see the health, safety segments in the DVD as well. You can always email your requests to Warner Home Video, but I'm very positive they know what SF fans want to see in the DVD releases.

I just took a look at the back cover art and it says they are including magic and craft segments. So that must mean these are complete Saturday morning episodes! I hope so, because I want to hear the instrumental theme music used for the end credits :)
