Character of the Month

Popeye
Short, balding, untamed and categorically unsightly, Popeye is the least likely of heroes. Still, this sailor’s debut in 1929 ushered in the era of anchor tattoos and spinach cans. More than 75 years later, Popeye is one of the most beloved and recognizable do-gooders in fictional history, all in the name of his one true love, Olive Oyl. When his nemesis Bluto takes one step too far, Popeye roughly proclaims, “Tha’s all I can stands, and I can’t stands no more!” To win the heart of his love as well as the rest of the world, Popeye beats unspeakable odds and battles to save the day.

Yes, Speed Buggy is back, along with Jabberjaw. Space Ghost replaces Moby Dick @ 12:30 am ET. Would like to see them expand "Cartoons without a Clue" to 2 hours and get more stuff in. I'm jazzed knowing Chan Clan will be on Saturday.

It would be nice if the Popeye cartoons that aired would be the black-and-white Fleischer cartoons, and not the :ack: "colorized":ack: ones.

It would also be nice if "Cartoons Without a Clue" got a marathon...especially since one of its headliners is having a 40th birthday this year.

What is the October schedule?
I don't like the goosebumps crap that's showing on cartoon network all month long.
and show the weekdays and movies/specials/stunts plus, semi-new shows from cn's old-school
cartoon-cartoons lineup .
thank you.

1: It's only the 15th, give us at least a week, if not two.

2: "goosebumps crap" isn't playing all month long rightnow, at least not to my knoweldge.

3: If you mean weekends, then I'm sorry, but I can't help you.

they aired a promo of the live-action goosebumps marathon starting October 1st on CN.
this was during the 24-hour Boomeraction marathon.
somehow, I hate this live-action crap CN puts on the network.
if someone please give time squad a new season i would appreciate it.

You are aware that none of us here works for Cartoon Network and that we have no control over what the network does and does not air, right?

I KNOW THAT!!
I just wish time squad was given a new chance and a new season.

Then why did you say it? ;)

But seriously, Time Squad hasn't aired on Cartoon Network since 2003. Four years is a long time for a series to be on hiatus. If CN had any plans to renew the series, it would have happened by now. When a show goes off of a network for 4 years without reruns or even a press release, I think you can color it done.

At the most, you can hope that maybe Boomerang will start airing the reruns, or that perhaps CN will release the series on DVD, but that's about it.

I've found out that a couple folks at CN that deal with Boomerang do check this site now and then. They might not post, but they are aware.
