Favorite Scooby-Doo Series?

I perfer The Scooby-Doo Show, too. It seemed like a continuation of the classic Where Are You? series, but with somewhat better animation and were never overplayed like WAY? was.

"Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!" is my favorite by far, but "The New Scooby-Doo Movies" is right below it. =]

13 Ghosts. It was the first series to truly think outside the box in the Scooby Universe. The only thing that would have made it perfect was having Fred and Velma in the mix.

Lots of respect for Where are You, but What's New has replaced it as my favorite. The writing is just much more clever and funny.

Lots of respect for Where are You, but What's New has replaced it as my favorite. The writing is just much more clever and funny.I agree, What's New (which the revamp technically started with the Scooby animated movie, Zombie Island, good movie) captured the feel of the original series, but liked to make jabs at the original series. The episodes were good for the most part and I enjoyed watching them.

Of all the Scooby-Doo programs, I like All-Star Laff-a-lympics the best, especially since both Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Dum team with Shaggy and others on their team include Hong Kong Phooey, Captain Caveman(along with Dee Dee, Brenda & Taffy), Blue Falcon & Dynomutt, Speed Buggy(with Tinker) and Babu. Later, I'll start a thread on the All-Star Laff-a-lympics.

Here's a little trivia fact you can use for that thread: Originally slated for the Scooby Doobies team were 5 characters from Josie and the Pussycats (Josie, Melody, Valerie, Alexandra and Alexander Cabot), as well as Jeannie (from H-B's animated Jeannie series), but these characters didn't make the final cut due to legal restrictions (Archie comics owned the rights to the Josie characters, and the I Dream of Jeannie properties were owned by Columbia Pictures Television). Babu from Jeannie made it onto the show since he was an original creation of Hanna-Barbera. It's been speculated that the Teen Angels were brought in to replace the Pussycats, and perhaps Daisy Mayhem was created to replace Alexandra, though she was placed on the Rottens' team.

No love for "A Pup Named..."? That was my favorite simply because it had the SD formula but with a wacky cartoony style to it.
