The official summer schedule ends on August 31, but a few days later, CN is having a marathon of Poke'Mon Diamond & Pearl, on 9/3. The regular weekday CN schedule will then return 9/4 with the following:

6 AM- Transformers Cybertron
6:30- Poke'Mon
7 AM- Ed, Edd, and Eddy
7:30- My Gym Partner's A Monkey
8 AM- Camp Lazlo
8:30- Ben 10
9 AM- A Pup Named Scooby-Doo
9:30- The Land Before Time
10 AM- CN Movie Madness
11:30 AM- Baby Looney Tunes
12 PM- What's New Scooby-Doo
12:30- Scooby-Doo: Where Are You
1 PM- Tom and Jerry
2 PM- Xialoin Showdown (1 hour)
3 PM- Camp Lazlo (1 hour)
4 PM- Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends (1 hour)
5 PM- Billy & Mandy (1 hour)
6 PM- Poke'Mon
6:30- Poke'Mon Diamond & Pearl

I'm assuming the afternoon schedule will change once 'Master Control' starts up, but I don't believe an exact date has been given for 'Master Control.'

Evenings don't appear to change much. I suspect the 7 PM slot may change, but this is what it is until Fried Dynamite comes on.
7 PM- Camp Lazlo
7:30- Foster's
8 PM- Billy and Mandy
8:30- Ed, Edd, and Eddy
9 PM- Camp Lazlo
9:30- My Gym Partner's A Money
10 PM- Courage the Cowardly Dog
10:30- Naruto
11 PM- [adult swim]

My last post before I go into dreamworld: They added Scooby Doo. Smart wise. I'm guessing that MC won't appear until late 2007- early 2008 to be at least.

EDIT: Will they do the crappy kiddie bumpers, or the CGI city look again?

I just can't watch Cartoon Network no more it just flat out boring (IMO).

If you don't like it, then set up a personalized schedule, and watch whatever shows you want to watch, as long as you got the DVDs. I mean, if you want, you can use Youtube on the Wii or XBox 360 to watch vintage cartoons on there, assuming they're still on the site.

Im very pleased with the 1 hour pokemon on weekdays. 1 classic episode followed by 1 recent episode is actually a good plan! Also Courage and Naruto on weekdays is great too.

I have a feeling the Where Have Your Been Scooby Doo marathon was a rating success.

Why is Camp Lazlo aired 5 times a day when the more successful Foster's is only run 3?

Note that probably 11.5-1.0 are pre-emptable in the event that they have a movie longer than 1.5 hours..

Interesting do see What's New Scooby Doo, Scooby-Doo, Pup Named Scooby Doo, and Land Before Time back..

Wow, Kanto-era Pokemon at 6:30AM AND 6:00PM!

Also, I'm surprised Xiaolin Showdown is still around. Not that I don't like having it around, I'm just surprised (I still have to somehow get the episodes I'm still missing...).

12:30- Scooby-Doo: Where Are You

Score two for old-school CN fans.:D But 5 Lazlo's, really? Why not replace one for Class of 3000?

Because Class of 3000 has around 20 eps or so, But i gues still would be better than Lazlo..

and I thoguh XS got gewd ratigs on CN, so hence why it stayed on..

I hate CN in the morning, outside of summer. ><

Three showings of Scooby Doo as well as a showing of Tom and Jerry makes this a little more like CN. Now let's get Flintstones and Jetsons on in the evening, and Looney Tunes somewhere.

But seriously, 5 showings of Lazlo? That's way too much.

Wait, so when Master Control starts up, they cut out one showing each of Fosters and Billy and Mandy, and add in a 6th(!!) showing of Camp Lazlo? What the hell is that?

Please tell me it loses at least one of it's other time slots by then.

Well, by then Bilyl and Mandy and Foster's wuill be down to one slot, so probably they'll replace Camp Lazlo in the afternoon, and also by then Squirrel Boy should be ready to air weekdays for reals, so that'll take up the later Lazlo Slot. So it should be down to 8AM and 7PM

While I do hope that Lazlo loses some of its other slots, the prospect of Squirrel Boy on weekdays isn't exactly a reassuring one.

The 7pm slot looks to be rotating every week. So it's only for the week of 9/4.

They play way to much Camp Lazlo. They could at least replace a showing with an episode of KND or something. And when they say Pokemon do they mean the original seires like Kanto and stuff.

Still, the lack of airings is surprising. They've got a whole hour of Xiaolin Showdown, not to mention an airing of Courage.

Well, all those other shows also premried in the summer and have new eps

and it isn't too popular, since they only gave it a 9 episode renewal as opposed to the traditional 13...(But that might've been because Flapjack is getting their place in the studio..)

This is minor news, but a nice surprise. Today after Scooby Doo Where Are You!!, they had the old Hanna Barbara logo from the 60's. I don't have Boomerang, so maybe they have it there, but I have never seen that logo on television, except on the DVD releases of old Hanna Barbara show.

This is most likely off-topic, but I was wondering if the Summer bumps had a conclusion, like that annoying song slowed down until it gets destroyed, and the pool's empty while the school bell rings?

The marathons have to stop. It's just lazy programming strategy at this stage. We have proven that not everyone that watches CN/Nick/Boomerang/Disney isn't possessed of a "sound byte mentality". We want greater diversity in programming, simple as that.

This is very good news. Glad to see that they're allowing the older episodes to escape from the 6:30 death slot.

Also, this week's episodes from the 6:30 slot will also get a marathon this Saturday from 12:00-2:30, followed by Pokemon Movie 1, and then by Pokemon Movie 9.

They're restarting from the beginning. Didn't see that one coming.

They did the same exact thing when Pokemon was on Boomerang (Running through the Paras episode up to the episodes with Todd, and then restarting to episode 1, except skipping the ones that ran before it when it gets to that point).

I saw this coming a mile away.

One thing I don't understand is why do they air Pup Named Scooby Doo at 9 am, than air What's New Scooby Doo and Scooby Doo Where Are You!! at 12 pm and 12 30 pm. Why not air all three shows in a non stop 90 minute block?

If they are going to have all three shows, air Pup Named Scooby Doo at 11: 30 am. It is silly, I have to wait 2 and half hours for the next Scooby Doo series. Besides the show that airs at 11 30 am is another babyfiaction show just like Pup Named Scooby Doo.

Pitiful, simply pitiful. Remember when they actually used to air action cartoons on weekdays? Yes, I'm aware that Pokemon, Xialin Showdown, Naruto, Ben 10, and Transformers air at odd points during the day, but still, it's pretty pathetic.
