Episode 12 http://www.toonzone.net/schedule/new.gif
Premieres at 7 PM
No encores this week due to the "Naruto Hundo"

Last time Finn was revealed to be one nations king, or so they thought, and he turned the rest of the Storm Hawks into his royal court. Little did he know the king had to be eaten by unknown forces, but Aerrow saved him and reunited the team, despite Stork's desire to take all their things.

Tonight, these guys may be the Storm Hawks, but you never know what they will do each battle. That becomes more obvious when they face a group they've never seen before: The Murk Raiders. Can the Storm Hawks escape Terra Deep before they become The Murk Raiders meat? With Cyclonia waiting for them at the exit, it could be chaos and disarray. To bad they don't have a brother and sister waiting to save the day.

Meet the Storm Hawks:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e7/Aerrow.jpg/180px-Aerrow.jpg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Aerrow.jpg) Aerrow: This man may be the leader of the squad, and he finds a way for everyone to usually get along, but his care free attitude can sometimes lead them into trouble.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/36/Finn.jpg/180px-Finn.jpg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Finn.jpg) Finn: Sometimes he's green, and sometyimes he's full of pride, but Finn's attempt to be funny usually becomes a thorn in most sides.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/ed/Junko.jpg/180px-Junko.jpg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Junko.jpg) Junko: This man is the muscles and the heavy ballistics man of the group, but he rarely wants to go and be a crazy snoop. Whenever he loses a prized item though, Junko tends to get afraid and not be like Bobobo.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/13/Radarr.jpg/180px-Radarr.jpg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Radarr.jpg) Radarr: In te pst something in the sky has been accussed of being a bird, a plane, or Superman, but now Radarr is joining that goup as the co-pilot for Aerrow.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/9b/Piper_StormHawks.jpg/180px-Piper_StormHawks.jpg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Piper_StormHawks.jpg) Piper: Piper is usually the brains and the second in command, but her desire to gain additional crystals can cause problems for anyone not named Sam. She does know tactics, navigation, and crystals though making her dangerous for anyone.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/4/48/Stork_StormHawks.jpg/180px-Stork_StormHawks.jpg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Stork_StormHawks.jpg) Stork: He serves as the teams carrier pilot, but his fear of the unknown leads him to be extra weary and makes him into a minstrel of sorts.

I didn't dislike the Mirks as much as I thought I would. They lost me with "Das Boot" story line, but managed to save it with humour like Storks "sock'em" that "Oh no, that will never be any good" joke.:anime:

Junko's sneezes were getting old fast, but Finn doing "DaffyDuck" into the creates and getting his fingers stepped on was funnier. :anime:

And Piper had some good scenes, including a little shoulder wiggle that was cute.

Not as good as last time, but still funny.

Well, well, well... Someone has been watching some Submarine movies. And (say it with me now) Serenity. I saw that ending coming the moment they entered the clouds. Not a complaint, just an observation. I could almost hear the Cyclonian captain yell "Somebody fire!"

Major bonus points for the design of the Mirks' ships! Negative points for the lame attempt at singing. But the cool ships more than make up for that...

The Murk Raiders provide an interesting second villian this series could incorporate. I can only imagine how much trouble the Storm Hawks will be in should those two forces merge. Actually I can only imagine how much trouble all the worlds Sky Knights would be in. It'd make that season opener look like it was a babies toy.

Not the best Storm Hawks episode, but better than "King for a Day"--and yes, the pirate ships were very cool.
