I remember that on TV when they have all the CBS Saturday Morning Cartoon Characters and Live Action Show that aired on CBS back in the 70's and 80's at the end of the cartoon when all the CBS Saturday Morning Cartoon Characters say Next, Another Interesting Story that's In The News and I love that show on CBS back in the 70's and 80's!

Yes, back in the 70s and early 80s, CBS did inserts of then current news stories to fulfill their E/I requirement. NBC and ABC also aired educational inserts between their Saturday morning cartoons shows. It was required.

But how, may I ask, is this in any way relevant to Boomerang? Boomerang doesn't re-air CBS' "In the News" segments on their channel. Why would they? The stories would all be dated now. And you're not saying anything other than "I used to like those things!". You might as well have started a thread about how much you like chocolate.

I honestly don't see what sort of discussion you hope to generate with this.

The last time vintage "In The News" shorts were rerun was on TV Land during the first 2 years of the cable channel's existance (1996-1998).
