Like the rest of the H-B library, it can be seen on occasion. It's just not airing right now. As for episodes, I think there were 13 of them.

Yep, there were 13 episodes of Speed Buggy (one season). As such, the series only airs sparodically on the Boom; it can't air every day, since not enough episodes were made.
As for a revival, anything's possible, of course, but I wouldn't bet danger money on it. Speed Buggy was never outstandingly popular; it basically got lost in the morass of all the other Scooby-Doo clone shows of the 1970's (Goober and the Ghost Chasers, The Funky Phantom, Jabberjaw, etc.). The occasional supporting role (Laff-A-Lympics), guest shot (Harvey Birdman) or surprise cameo (the "Bravo Dooby Doo" episode of Johnny Bravo) are probably the most latter-day Speed Buggy appearances you can expect.

As for a revival, Speed Buggy did a guest spot on an episode of Harvey Birdman; Attorney at Law ("High Speed Buggy Chase"), if you want to count that.

And also had a cameo at the end of the Johnny Bravo classic "Bravo Doobie Doo" as well, if you're intersted. Oh, and tv.com lists 16 episodes, the usual for Saturday morning cartoons at the time.

Long, long ago I had a Speed Buggy lunch box. Since the show was well before my time I never knew who the characters were supposed to be.

It was on Boomerang just a few years ago. I recorded all of them while I had the chance. :)

What's the other 70s buggy show? I always get the two confused. The other one had a couple of talking buggies that I think were in love, and they were sometimes chased by some motorcycles.

I believe it's Wheelie & The Chopper Bunch, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, it was Wheelie. Judy Strangis (Electra-Woman & Dyna-Girl) was the voice of Wheelie's girlfriend.

Wheelie's girlfriend was named Rota Ree. (Get it?)

You might wanna add 3 more episodes to that total...
Also, leave us not forget the concurrent 1973 Season-2 New Sooby-Doo Movies guest shot, "The Weird Winds Of Winona."
