This is the season finale of Saul of the Mole Man, and it's a doozy.

Stromulus Quandor!! THAT was his name.
"Saul backwards spells LUAS?!" :P
The pyramid IS a spaceship!
Bye bye raisin doctor. Hello Bertram?!
"Sonar of the birdbats!" "Mole men burrowing!" "Rock master tumble!"
Enter old-fashioned bisexual geologist Nathaniel Baltimore.
Knowing this plot has more holes than every golf course in Florida, I wouldn't be surprised if Clancy appeared on the spaceship next season.
That's the most clothes Fallopia's worn all season.

Sorry, sorry, but...
The whole "Team Space" thing gave me flashbacks of Power Rangers in Space...

I wonder if they're going to rename the series.

I've basically lost track of the plot at this point but the episode was pretty funny and Nathaniel Baltimore is one of the best characters I've ever seen.

What they should do is have the next season take place sometime in the distant future. It should have Saul's grandson, who is named Saul, who looks and sounds just like his grandfather. Also, the strata operator's grandchildren, who are working as strata operators. Etc. with the molemen, etc.
In other words, after a long, convoluted explanation, reset back to earlier in the season and go from there.

Yeah, but they've still got to stop the astroids...

I love how this managed to be a cliffhanger and completely satisfying at the same time. We don't need to see them stop the asteroids; what matters is that we've seen Saul climb to the top and form an all-new team of his own.
Was this really just a season finale, or a series finale? I haven't heard of any plans to renew the show.
The only thing that saddened me was the unceremonious death of Brad; I would have expected him to go on living at least as a puddle of gore. Ah well.
But yeah, for the molemen, God is literally dead.

According to the Upfront, there will be a season 2 with 10 episodes.

Not a bad finale, all things considered. This is such a weird show, and yet I managed to see every episode.

Aw, I'll miss Robot.
I wonder if they're going to rename the series.
At the very least they're going to have to make a new opening theme. I wonder if they'll use the new Strata one...or maybe it'll seem like they're going to use that and then bring in a new one like they did in the beginning.

I think Saul of the Molemen still stands as a title - Clancy sort of officially christened him such before he died, and he still hangs out with at least three mole people (Lil, Bertram and Fallopia)
We never did find out why Johnny Tamborine was in a tube, even though they finally questioned it at some point. And did we ever learn what the original underground mission was?

This show never ceases to amuse me.

for a TV-PG rated program (i know it was probably MA (possibly MA V), i was making fun of the fact that adult swim video said TV-PG (it did that for ATHF: antenna too) ) that was pretty violent.
Go STRATA Team Space!

It was a season of good times. It was a season of bad times. I don't think an AS show has yo-yoed this much in quality from episode to episode ever.
That being said, Season 1 wraps up on a fairly good note. Saul beats the rock monster, Bertram's not dead after all, Clancy is after sacrificing himself so the spaceship can take off, we don't know if Saul and the new STRATA team destroy the asteroids or not...
Wait, those are all bad things, aren't they? Well, hilariously bad, anyway.
Nathaniel Baltimore's a hoot, though. Anyone who fires a shot from a pistol up into the air before every line gets a thumbs up and a chuckle from me.
"Master of Rock, Master of Destiny": 3.5/5.
"Saul of the Molemen" Season 1: 3/5.

and I'm wondering, For it to have a season 2, Won't it have more continuity and won't saul have to get up to the surface sometime. Cause they can't churn out random episodes and avoid continuity because the show is practicly built around continuity.

Robot died in the last episode, I believe. After Bertram drilled up to the surface and then drilled back down Robot said that being so close to the surface and not being able to stay there made him depressed and he shot himself.
And I don't know who Bob is.
