Hey everyone, welcome to the first official talkback thread for the Unofficial Adult Swim Headquarters Podcast. You can find the podcast on http://podcast.toonzone.net or on iTunes on the Toon Zone News Podcast feed.

On the first episode we get things started, maybe not as gracefully as we hoped, but things will get smoother. We discuss news, and upcoming schedule changes in addition to Moral Orel, our featured discussion.

Next week, we will be talking about Bleach and we also accept any emails to ADULTSWIMHQ@GMAIL.COM or you can join us on Skype by leaving a message on my Skype name, AdultSwimHQ, but you must first post that you did so on this thread to be invited.

Thanks to Daikun and SpeedyBoris for helping me out with the first podcast and to Harley and William C. Maune for getting things set up, and I'll be sure to take any feedback on the second podcast, because I know we'll need it.

Kinda surprised that the audio quality on my end was so low, too. On the 2nd and 3rd TZ podcasts that I participated in the quality was better. Not sure why it's lower here.

I can't say I found it too interesting, but then again, I haven't seen much of Moral Orel. But I am looking forward to the discussion on Bleach next week and I hope you guys can get the audio working a little better by then.

You know, one show I would like you to feature on your podcast would be Paranoia Agent. I know it doesn't really have a spot on Adult Swim's TV schedule right now (and that's what your podcast schedule seems to be primarily based on), but it happens to be going through a run on AS Video right now.

Unfortunately, that's actually the truth. :sweat:

You see, the night before we recorded, Zach showed me a preliminary schedule for this season. The Bleach episode was actually meant to be the FIRST episode. I prepared a script and everything with my personal thoughts on the show.

Cut to the time of recording, and Zach revealed that the Bleach episode was moved and we'd be covering Moral Orel instead. It was a change that we weren't prepared for, and the podcast was just seconds away from starting, so I had to wing it.

By the way, I don't think you guys should be expecting a show tomorrow, despite Zach's recent update. I waited for him all day on Skype and he never showed up. Zach, please PM or Skype me; I think we're having some kind of misunderstanding with these "recording times" you keep giving me during our chats.

Yeah, I have the same problem as Cloud. I don't really feel like paying just to be on the podcast, since that would be the only real use I had for Skype. And I have a mic...but it isn't set up.

Skype is free, and you don't have to pay to be on the podcast.

It also shouldn't take long to set up a mic. Just plug it into the back of your computer and you're good to go.

Thanks for the heads up on Skype. I did download it and got a screen name, but my microphone jack won't fit into my computer for some reason. I think I may need a converter...
