Well, apparently, we're suppose to get a new OP and ED tonight. Will Sony show it to us? What will replace Sunday now? Funday? Will anybody get that reference I just made?

I'll give it a shot. You're talking about the Doug (the Nicktoon series before it moved offer to Disney Channel/ABC), episode 20A "Doug Meets The Rulemeister" where Doug imagines Quailman fighting Ruelmeister, an evil verison of Mr. Bone who tries to speed up the earth's rotation to get rid of Saturday and Sunday. Quailman defeats him though and slows down the earth's rotation to create a new day, Funday.

... Well despite proving myself being a total geek again, I hope this episode will be good. Even though I heard it's suppose to be pointless filler or something.

my favorite intro starts this week. other than that, this episode is pretty much filler.

Last time: Not since Gremlins 2 had there been a more horrifying mutant munchkin incident.

New intros, anyone?

The diner looks a little emptier these days.

Geez, guys, want some wine with that cheese?

Okay, getting bored here.

I like this better when it was blood-soaked swords, military conspiracies and bad French accents.

Everybody loves meat!

That's another weird thing. I can stand L'arc~en~ciel but I couldn't stand this OP.

I am impressed at just how much the opening/ending both sucked. Usually it's hit and miss and we may like one, but not the other... but I seriously hated both. D: I hope this gets better.

I think the afro dude's my favorite character on this show.

This episode was a nice break from all the weirdness.

I'm certain I've heard Season's Call and Cry No More somewhere before. Maybe it was IMF.

With all the weird stuff that's been happening, it was nice to have a break with this episode. Though, I'm amazed that David has recovered from that absurd encounter with the helicpoter, which, according to Kai, happened the day before.

Also, Saya, Kai, and little boy walking around in trenchcoats in the opening was... odd.

Yeah, don't research future OPs and EDs...I done spoiled myself (I think). Cool music though.

this epsiode contained extreme violence! such as grilling meat! vegans beware!

yeah... this epsiode was just kind of there. it had some nice downtime moments with the characters, but thats something that's usually interlaced with real plot in other shows... it could have used that.

the new opening seemed random... I liked the song, but the visuals were scatterbrained. Some were nice, others I have no idea (like the one with the little brother in the trench coat, acting like the ghost in the shell second gig opening). the ending... didn't like the song and the visuals were just sketches.

The new opening had Saya shaking her butt for some reason.I thought that was weird and funny at the same time.

I thought of the Kodocha opening:sweat: .

This isn't my favorite OP, but the music reminded me of FMA and I think thats why I actually liked it.
The episode was pretty nice too. It made my heart sink when they went back and looked at all the father's things.
Too bad I can't remember the second half of this episode:sad: . I need to re watch it later in the week.

Well, I caught some of it. The new openings and endings just weren't too great. Not too much seemed to have happened though, but I liked seeing George again in cameos. I still miss him.:crying:

This anime makes me wonder who else will die before this shows over. And did I see an older Kai in the opening OP?

From hearing beforehand that this was going to be a "Saya goes home and hangs out" episode, I fully expected to hate it and be bored, but it wasn't too bad. I liked seeing Saya, Kai, and Riku interact and be normal kids for a moment. Although I got weird "date" vibes from the scene with Saya and Kai in the restaurant. I suppose they're not biological siblings, but it was still weird.

I thought Haji's blank look was pretty funny when Riku was trying to get him to join the group on the beach. But then when he showed up with his cello later, it made me wonder where he keeps that thing.

Probably up the sleeve of that enormously large claw that nobody seems to question.

I liked this episode. I always appreciate when the characters go back to their home and things go back to usual for a while.

As for the opening and ending, I didn't care for them too much. But before I say that I hate them, I'll watch both again next week. Sometimes I dislike an opening/ending at first, but then they grow on me.

It was good to see Sana could live a normal life, but she has some hard fights that are about to occur. Luckily her bro's will be there with her.

Mold scares me, too! Other things that scare me:

glitchy Nintendo games
loud beeping noises

This is what is called the old "character focused episode after the big battle" type of thing. Saya and family go back home to Japan for awhile and visit, giving the group a chance to pay they're respects again to they're dear old dead dad, eat some lunch, meet up with some old friends (It has been awhile because I had forgotten about Saya's gynmastics encouraging friend from the first saga), have a barbeque beach fireworks celebration (ironically aired right near 4th of July) and have an enjoyable time. Except for you know Saya's continuing state of emotional angst. Seriously, everywhere they went Saya always had to go to herself "Oh I don't want to fight but I have to and I have to leave my friends behind" which is understanable but they hammered that in way too much to the ground this time around. For your friends sake at least Saya try to get more active. Oh well, guess these will be issues she'll still be dealing with throughout the series as she figures out who she is. The nice decent pace and the new opening/ending (Opening had a weird selection of quick comedy scenes admist it's drama and the ending like the first one is forgettable) make this a pretty decent ep that will hopefully lead to more plot/less Saya angst next time.

That's one better than me. I can't stand L'arc~en~Ciel at all. The composition of their songs are great, but the vocals are downright awful.

Why don't they just call themselves Rainbow?
