Horah! Summer! Usually I count Summer beginning as the last day of school, but since this year didnt really feel like it had a closing, yay for today! And it's actually nice out too.:)

Yay Summer, my favorite season. I'll be sure to go swimming and go to amusement parks quite a bit this Summer.

I am currently spending this very first day of Summer in a very small town in Western Sullivan County in New York.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting this either, but that's how it works. xD

It's a 'perfect' summer day here in Rydal, Georgia, sunny and about 90 degrees. Too bad it's not twenty degrees cooler and cloudy. (Sorry, but somebody had to be the killjoy:evil: ).

I spent the first day of summer outside, hiking. I think it was near three miles, through the rocks and hills, but I have no idea. I just know that my legs feel like they want to fall off.

It was cool, though, because a group was holding a wedding ceremony at the lake by hiking site. The bride came over in a canoe. It was unique. They had an accordion for the approaching music, too. Made me think of Adam Tyner and Delia. =P

Well here in Tucson the temp today soared to 105-107 F (Depending on where you were), and in fact they had a heat advisory out today for us here in Tucson. In fact the only way to keep cool was ice water and staying inside.. that, and cold showers..

But like Buster Poindexter once said, it's feelin' Hot hot hot!

Today was not a happy "first day of summer". I involuntarily spent five hours in the sun at practice today. Too hot.

Man It feels like summers been here for longer than that. Already I feel like I've been wilting from all this heat. We had rain today but it was a small shower, we haven't had a big rainstorm in about three weeks and because of that its been in the 90s for a while. Yuck, bring back the 60s!

You know, I think because it hadn't rained in so long, Indiana law decided that it was illegal to water your lawn. I think they fine $1000 for watering your lawn now.
