Wait...something doesnt click here. Who finds out they're pregnant a full nine months and 10 days before they're actually due??

Usually one is a little bit along with the pregnancy before they find out. So I don't know if it's possible to find out that early.

Your profile also says your a 24 year old, pregnant mother of 9?! I'm confused. Anyone?

Perhaps some dogs are evolving in intelligence to the point where they can make TZ accounts?

Also, congrats to Supergirl.

some of my kids are adopted,I did Go to high school but not to college, I apdopted 7 kids, when I was 19,20 and 21 I apdopted Julia,Halie, samantha,Nellie, the twins chirstina and clark and Jessica. Julia was from chicago,Hailie was from missipi, samantha and Nellie were both sisters in new york and the twins chirstina and clark were from los angles and Jessica was from vergina. Now,Baby Derek is not my first kid from my body. I also Had a Baby girl last year Named Jennifer. so that's why my profile says that. I adpoted 7 kids because some of them had horrible lifes where they lived and I felt bad for them. also,on march 19th I took a pregancy test, because I trough up and I thought it was morning sickness.

Wow, I didn't know they let people adopt that early, especially in bulk.

Eight kids, on purpose, at age 24? No wonder your screen name is Supergirl.

so you had a kid and now you're pregnant again? or you somehow went from being nine months along to only four? or are you doing some sort of countdown, such as "only four months left!"?

I think she meant that a few months ago a doctor told her she had 9+ months of pregnancy to go and NOW she's four months along.

I'm still baffled by this. I've never heard of someone thinking they are pregnant, going to a doctor and being told they're going to have a baby in over nine months. A pregnancy is nine months, and by the time you realize something is up and you go to a doctor some time has to have passed. So being told by a doctor that your going to have a baby in more than 9 months time is really impossible.

Maybe she started counting from the moment of conception?....

I'm more surprised that the courts would allow a NINETEEN YEAR OLD adopt a child.

Forcing myself not to laugh at the name of one of the states of the adopted children, my Spider-Sense is still trying to figure out what judge would allow guardianship of children to someone from the ages of 19-21, an age which I can't imagine anyone being financially stable enough to care for others.

Although, my mind now wanders to a certain episode of Futurama...

If she took the pregnancy test on the first date her period skipped, and if it came out positive and the doctor agreed with it, that's the date they calculate the nine months of pregnancy from.

And she may be young, but if her husband is older than she is, then it's completely plausible the state allowed her to adopt. Unlike China and Romania, the US generally encourages people to take siblings rather than separate them. So if she wanted one girl, but she had a sister, she would have to take the other as well. Granted, the details are fragmented and the writing style makes me doubtful, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Except that it's perfectly legal in most states...

Legal? Yes.

Logical? Far from it.
