Well, this episode ends the Vietnam arc, and I believe we are suppose to get a new opening and ending next week. Also, I hope this title is correct so I won't have to change it. It's not fun Sony.:(

They're going to wrap this up in one episode? Okay...

It just felt like things were finally starting to build up, I thought they'd ride it out a little further.

I, for one, am glad this arc is ending. The phantom and this mysterious Diva have been dragged out long enough.

Anyways, I hope Saya overcomes her past tonight. Time to stop the emo-ness.

just a brief warning: the two episodes after this are pretty much useless. after that however, the show gets really good.

Last time: Little Bobby's visit to Chiropteran Summer Camp!

That kid from Wonder Showzen was right. You really are never too young to have a Vietnam flashback.

I wish that woman would ACT more like she was wounded.

I can verify the English lyrics in the CC.

Saya...kill Frenchie first. He doesn't deserve to live with that accent.

She REALLY should carry a bag of her own blood around with her. I almost cringed when she slit her finger like that.

Either Mui's got really dry skin or...

The kind of guy who'd cut off his leg to spite his...face...I think.

Oh well. 'Tis better to have loved and witnessed your love transform into a Chiropteran than to have never loved at all.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to call child services.

Has anyone else noticed that the closed captions have the translated lyrics to the OP?

Wow, Saya is doing more fighting in this episode than Hitomi and Kagome did in their respective shows.

Phantom kinda resembled the Proxy.

Wow, that sure was a bittersweet ending.

This episode felt really rushed, they should have broken it up into two at the very least, I feel the familys reunion was especially bizare, kai busts into a random room, trips over a corpse, sees saya stabbing the hell out of something and david talks to him like he knew he was there all along. No one even commented or gave him a second look, really wierd.

"phaaaaaannnnTTTTTOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!"

The only thing missing from that scene was Saya shaking her fist in the air.

Well now... that was a packed episode. Saya has a weird dream, kills everything in the room, sucks Haji's blood, and fights the Incredible Hulk. Meanwhile, David transforms into Rambo by jumping into a helicopter and then jumping out of it as it explodes. And then other stuff happened...

What? I'm not a recap.

Good episode, even though it felt kinda rushed.

Shoot. I missed it. Is that the first time it's happened?

Well anyways, looks like Saya 'lost it' again for a moment there. And she killed an old lady. How could you, Saya?

And David jumping out of an exploding helicopter, like 30 feet off the ground, landing on his stomach, and surviving...that just seems a little bit unrealistic.

Damn phantom. Why don't you let Saya kill you already? Well, at least it'll be easy to find him now, you know, now that he's a ten foot tall, blue chiropteran.

But overall a very entertaining episode. Looking forward to the new opening next week.

I don't think she killed her. Saya asked her "Did I do this?" and the lady said something like "I didn't realize you were so strong, I wish you showed this power earlier." That would seem to indicate that those monsters killed her.

And David jumping out of an exploding helicopter, like 30 feet off the ground, landing on his stomach, and surviving...that just seems a little bit unrealistic.

I'm getting a little sick of him miraculously surviving. I mean, every other human he went in with got killed, and yet he somehow manages to survive. I mean, it seemed a little ridiculous that he was holding back that monster with a pistol.

I find it funny how Van (a.k.a. French Freeman) was so confident and in-control during the first arc of the show, but during the Vietnam arc he's all like "WTF!? What the hell's going on around here!?"

Yep that was the first time it happened.

Poor Mui. I wonder it there really is a way to change her back?

I felt bad for her aswell, she was such a nice girl. :( But I don't think they can, hence the "Do you believe in miracles?" line.

Oh look, Saya finally did something.
and Kai didn't totally get in the way!

I'm happy to say that Blood+ does not put me to sleep anymore. Congrats, I am now excited to watch this show every Saturday.

I would have liked to see what happened to the younger brother or how the kids were turned into Chiropteran's by that music, but I'm also glad they decided to get this plot over with. I still find it ironic that they're saying: "She's a samurai man." Either she's a she or a man. You can't have it both way folks. Eden does escape though but I'm glad the family is reunited for a time.

The last two episodew have been freaky... those goblin children... *shudder*

The phantom can't die soon enough, he's been grating on my nerves ever since he first showed up. At least he's down a leg. The same goes for the teenageboy with the curly blonde hair (the one that danced with Saya). The french guy... he's so awful a character its funny.

Also was I mistaken, or did I hear the french guy say he's been taking the chemical that turns people into monsters?

I think Mui has a chnace of being able to be restored, as she still had the memory of playing the piano (watch her fingers when she's in the cage). Assuming they can find a treatment.

Points will be earned if the next two episodes deal with curing her. That would actually be useful filler.

Guess that has to do with him loosing him "mysterious and cool villian in control" role to his brother and now gets pushed back into the "guy not so much in the know". Happens enough with Lost and the others so glad to see it work with another show.

The Vietnam arc ends, though really it sort of feels like a pretty hollow ending. Then again maybe it's because of the hollow victory that comes with it. I mean Phantom survived and they weren't any closer to capturing Deva (nice try by David with that helicopter stunt but sadly no dice) and lost all they're additional support as Saya almost goes all evil. Luckily as predicted by me before Kai intervenes at the worst/best time and she ends up doing pretty well against Phantom before his already mentioned running off. There's also Riku realizing the girl he liked was turned into an expiremental monster (who may or may not ever get fixed) and the family finally coming back together, which will hopefully do a lot of good or something now. The kind of fact nothing really was too accomplsihed here sort of brings down the episode more then it probably should sadly enough.

Just so people know, this show does get better.

So, all of you doubters, throw your doubt out of the window.

I refuse to throw my doubts out. I dunno, something just strikes me as it sucking midway through the series. Hopefully it won't.

The goblin children owned. Took me back to my Silent Hill years.

Also, Sam. We all know you probably spoiled yourself already, so why do you care if you like it a lot or not? :P

Does nobody in this show have a taser? If Red Shield knows that bullets and daggers don't stop the ciropterans, maybe try some high voltage instead.

I have some theories about Diva, but I'll keep them to myself for now.

Some nice animation in this episode. Great fight scenes.
