This episode was all over the place, even by Billy and Mandy standards. I love the use of Sir Raven though. "And what of Sir Raven? No one asked about Sir Raven! No one cares about SIR RAVEN!"

The whole alian story like while a good idea just was not handled as good as I hoped. That this and the Ed Edd and Eddy story were IMHO the weakest parts of the story just does not seem right as they are the best shows that of the five (though I like Fosters too). Really I just feel that this whole arc could have been done much better then it was.

Yeah, I definatly agree, Ed, Edd and Eddy was the weakest but the Grim one was the best one, Action actually happens here and some backstory is explained, Overall, CN Invaded is weak. This episode = A.

Ironically,

Gym Partner and Lazlo were the strongest pieces, both had episodes about aliens, and used similar designs for the alien spiecies.(A Pink globe full of slime).

I was hoping for a better connective tissue with the aliens. EE&E probably wasn't the best choice for a part in the series (painfully, Class of 3000 might have been the better choice, least we would have gotten a video out of the deal)

Personally I felt this was rather eh. I mean yeah compared to some of the other specials is was good but compared to some of the others it was bad, which makes it middle ground. I mean there were some good moments (billy kicking alien butt, the various 4th wall comments like The Raven's random appearences to tell the story, Mandy commenting programming a robot would be boring to the auidence, etc) and the ending where Grim turns everyone into dairy superheroes. The main problems were too many pauses for any jokes, too much reilance on gross/poop humor (I mean seriously I notice that B&M has a lot of crap humor in it. As in reliance on talking about feces far too much for the show's own good) and not even bothering to explain why it really took only till the end for Grim to actually do something constructive. Not to mention that they really could of tied in the other specials better. The frankie shoutout and the shot of the various characters in the pod at the end were good but really there could of been more, espipcally since B&M is the one show who always takes the oppourtunity to cameo/crituque other CN shows. Oh well.

It introduced nothing to the story and it playing on the alien/sci-fi thing, We didn't see what the big deal was.


Foster's (though it does hold up somewhat better then EEE's special on repeats).

I find this the best because it has a lot of action, explains a lot of stuff about the aliens and basicily is worth watching.

Ugh, incredibley pathetic. I'm so glad they aired the first ending first and didn't leave us first time around with this crap of an ending. Yeah the KND cameo was kind of cute (espically since they did get Benjamin Diskin to voice Numbah 1/2) but otherwise meh. At best.

Ed, Edd and Eddy - pretty good for an Eds episode but weak as an overall part of the story :(
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy - it drug on to long and the cheese squirting was even more gross then Billys yogurt squirting :sweat:
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - I don't normally watch Fosters but it was an especially annoying episode
