. . .but Tom Kenney, who does the voices of the narrator and the mayor of Townsville on The Powerpuff Girls and Scoutmaster Lumpus on Camp Lazlo, is going to be hosting a summertime series on Turner Classic Movies called Funday Night at the Movies, where he and a studio audience of kids will see kid-friendly classic movies. The series will start next month.
Just thought I'd pass that along.

IIRC it's going to start June 3 with The Wizard of Oz. It'll air Sundays at 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT during the summer.

Airing classic kids movies fits in with the "classic" part of thair name and THAT is what they are going for with this new thing of thairs. Thats hardly them becoming a kids channel.
Jumping to HUGE conclusions arn't you?

How else are you going to introduce kids to such family-friendly classics as King Kong, Singin' in the Rain, Wizard of Oz and The Yearling, and hopefully instill in them a love for classic movies?
