Peter Cullen: The New Voice of CN?

Have you notice voice actor Peter Cullen(Optimus Prime to all TF fans out there) is doing more voice work in commercials? I mean he's called the voice of Toonami but if you notice there's more general ads with Cullen in them. The "Invaded" ads have him in it. And then there's the Naruto on weekdays ads which he does. And I saw a ad for involving CN tie-in with the new Fantastic 4 movie.

Between this and the new Transformers movie, 2007 might be Cullen the most work filled year since the 80s. But what do everyone else here think?

Yeah, I have noticed that. I hope he stays, I didn't like that other guy very much.

Peter Cullen has been a Toonami promo staple for years but having him expand to the rest of CN is pretty cool. His voice just rocks for promos. It's so booming and authoritative yet also kind of playful.

The poor guy is probably over-working his voice this year with Transformers and all these CN promos but I certainly appreciate all of it.

CN still uses some other promo voices but Cullen definently has more presence than the rest at this point. I half expect him to be the promo annoucer for Fried Dynamite. Just imagine him saying "dynamite"... groovy.

It's great to hear Cullen doing more promos for CN, especially considering he didn't get in much Toonami action last year. And not having his booming voice promote the DBZ movies was heartbreaking.

He is even promoting the new pokemon season.
