Maybe it has something to do with the fact that CN doesnt show the Evil Con Carne segments anymore.

They actually do, on the Cartoon Cartoon show and the Top 5.

I don't think that Grim & Evil was banned. I think they just split it up

From what I understand, though Cartoon Network executives really liked The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and wanted more from the show, they didn't really care much for Evil Con Carne at all, so asked Maxwell Atoms and co to seperate the two shows, and then cancelled Evil Con Carne, only showing the episodes that had been produced for Grim and Evil. There were a few episodes made later as a sort of expirement in a different style (even more different then Billy and Mandy's style evolved into after the split up of the show in 2003 and going to the 11 minute format in 2004). It didn't work so the show was competley cancelled. They have aired a couple of ECC segments on the Top 5 and Cartoon Cartoon show but that's pretty much all you'll see of the show nowadays (if that). IMHO I personally think it was a good idea because ECC was the weaker set of segments and focusing on B&M helped the creators make the show funnier. Still you can see from the various ECC cameos in B&M eps the creative team weren't too happy about the idea, espically from Skarr's speech about being bought by executives in "Skarred For Life".

Actually, Atoms said in a more recent interview that the experiment episodes of Con Carne did very well on Fridays, but he wanted to stick with working on Billy and Mandy.

I think the original poster is some lamebrain who thinks Grim Adventures should be banned for being too scary, or some nonsense.

No, no, and no.

Grim & Evil never got banned.

The creators found it way too hard to animate two series at once, so they took the one that was better off: The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.

They still make references to Evil With Meat, though.
