Are we nearing the final days of Miguzi?

Not 100% confirmed yet, but it looks like Miguzi may be ending sooner than we thought. On the week of 5/28, the first hour is replaced by 2 episodes of random CN shows (Battle Frontier and Naruto still air though), and then on the week of 6/4, the whole block is gone, and mini-marathons air from 4-7.

Now, this is only going off early June schedule info from zap2it, so I don't know about the rest of the month yet. Still, it doesn't seem like a good sign for the dying block.

Perhaps the return of the 7 PM weeknight premieres and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl is only the beginning of CN shifting more focus to primetime, since it is the best time of the day for them.

It's kind of ridiculous that CN is going to continue with Pokemon and Naruto for the week of 5/28. Naruto goes back to the episode one the week before, and then it's pulled off after episode six? What the heck. Might as well just kill Miguzi in one blow.

The Saturday morning block seems like a much more fitting place for Code LYOKO.

I thought LYOKO was going to Miguzi too, but I don't know now. There is a re-airing of the first season 4 episode on June 5th at 7 PM, but beyond that, I don't know where it goes.

Hmm and just before Fantastic Four claims Naruto's encore.

And since they're going back to 7PM premieres I'd say it's plausible Toonami will have premieres at 7PM again as well. They might just move GX but there are other possibilities.

What really will be strange is the week when only Pokemon and Naruto are on. Since the Migzui bumpers end before Naruto, only Pokemon will have them.

The Mini Marathon thing is what Cartoon Network does in summmer as well: have marathons each day at some point for the various CN Originals. Expect lots of My Gym Partner Is A Monkey, Foster's Home, Ed Edd n Eddy, Camp Lazlo, Billy And Mandy, and other such shows instead of what normally would be used for Miguzi. I do hope the 7Pm premieres are as varied as they were last year and all.

Though last year the marathons aired before Miguzi not during it (though Miguzi would occasionally have a marathon of their own). Pokemon probably wont even have Miguzi bumpers the week only it and Naruto airs but maybe it will.

Miguzi was alright until they got rid of TMNT and Megas XLR. It was all down hill from there in my opinion.

If they plan to bring it back in July then they'll probably air it at 10 or 10:30 when Adult Swim gives back 10:30PM and gains Friday. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they had Naruto and One Piece reruns making up the 10 hour at that point.

Miguzi is officially finished as of Tuesday. The old programs that aired under the Miguzi label remain, but without the Miguzi banner (instead we're getting new CN banners). Too bad Erin didn't get a farewell in.

I would have loved a final scene where the CN executives tell the Miguzi gang that they're cancelled and start shooting them with shotguns. Then they capture Erin and publicly hang her. What? I like finality.
