Bebop dvd sticker

on the cowboy bebop dvd it has a sticker that says it's rated for people 13 and up, and the dvd is uncut. why can't they show it uncut on adult swim since it's for adults? (I don't know any adults under 13, do you? :) )

Bandai's "13 and Up" rating is obviously different than Williams' Street's definition of 13 and Up. The uncut Bebop has nudity (once), four-letter words, and lots of violence, but Bandai considers it tame enough for people as young as 13 to see it. On the other hand, "NYPD Blue" on ABC also has nudity, four-letter words, and violence, but ABC doen't think anyone under 18 should watch it, thus the disclaimer during the ads for it. It's just a matter of opinion, and what can be broadcst to a target audience. That's why both Cowboy Bebop and NYPD Blue are both broadcast at times when young children aren't (supposed) to be awake to watch.

Cowboy Bebop Isnt bad the way it is now. It still shows some blood (Not much but some). More then DBZ does. I admit i would love for Spike and Jet to say whats REALLY on their minds :).

Those stickers on the DVDs are about as believable as 'Adult Swim Action'. Key the Metal Idol's got nudity in almost every episode and they have 13 & up on that :p

And the nudity in CB is from the porno in episode 5 if I remember correctly.

No, no, no. The shower scene. And when he leans over Faye Faye. **Shudder** CN cut some of the shower shot and airbrushed out the, well, "bumpiness" when Gren leans over Faye Faye.**Shudder again** However, in the English Bandai DVD release, nothing is edited. That is where the nudity came in.

Oh, also from episodes 5,7 and a cop is looking at a magazine in episode 4 I think.

Okay, the only episode that *shows* nudity is "Jupiter Jazz, part 1". It's the (in)famous "Gren Shower Scene", and you only see his uhh... "stuff"... for a few seconds.

Yeah, I guess you're right. The nudity in the pornography books really aren't fully, it's just like the flesh tone outline.The guy in episode seven though is a bit obsessed with it. It's all over his walls.
