Anyone notice it? The Naruto Reruns for English Dubs on CN everyday: Yesterday when Go! (AKA Fighting Dreamers) came on and started its Cartoon Network Primetime Everyday Fourth Season, the themesong did NOT have the English subtitles in the dubs which make it look.. dreary. Today they did. Yesterday it seemed high quality version of the theme song. Not sure if it did that when it aired on Toonami at first.

They didn't have the subs for the first two episodes that had GO!, but then they added them.

And, yes, they were in the Toonami run.

That post pretty much ends this thread.

The mention of Naruto kills everything.

You should also know that the subtitle isn’t complete.

The FanSub subtitle are much longer.

The only thing wrong with the subtitles Viz used was that they included a part of the song (after the second "Right Here! Right Now!") that wasn't in the intro.

And, the subtitle says: "You punch like a drunken rider!" "Butcher something and catch the fire!"

These lines weren't translated well into Viz's version.

No, they WERE translated well. Kuwabara has the actual Japanese lyrics memorized probably, but they were NOT "You punch like a drunken rider" or "You get the heat to catch the fire." The proper translations are the ones Viz uses.

99.9999999% of the time, official subtitles from actual translators paid to do this > some random fan who prefers speed over accuracy.

EXACTLY.

Which is why it pisses me off when people think a dub sucks because they don't say the same thing as in the fansubs.
