New Eds?...Cool!

Wow, Cartoon Network is rolling them out! For a while there We didn't get any new ones, now every 3 weeks. For those keepng track with the count, Season 3 is now 10 episodes finishished. (including the new ones) so we still have 3 left in S3 and then on to S4.

Also, "O-Ed-Eleven" is a spoof on "Ocean's Eleven" and That's why I'm really excited. I love that movie and I can't wait to see how the Eds pull this one off.

If you can't already tell, "Ed, Edd, n Eddy" is my fav CC.
Can't wait till next Friday. OH! Ed's Cartoon-olio this Sat for Eds' Fans.

First of all thats a UK website. Second of all it says its ending after the fourth season just like I said.

Actually, Courage is in this same predicament as well. Courage is only slated for four seasons, and Atomic Cartoon is close to wrapping up the fourth. Like Ed Edd & Eddy, Courage hasn't even aired most of season 3 yet, let alone season 4, so there's no need for CN to have to renew the show when they have so many new episodes to release over time.

Plus, CN likes to end shows after four seasons, which means PPG could also be a casualty, if the movie doesn't do well in theaters.

Dexter's Laboratory is the only Cartoon Cartoon to surpass 52 episodes(it has 65 so far, with 13 in pre-production).

About the Eds ending after S4...

Seeing as though I'm a very baised fan of EEnE, there is no other cartoon I'd rather see continue into more seasons and branch into a feature film. I was....well....bummed to say the least when I heard about the show ending after season 4. :(

I'm sure someone out there can sypathize with your favorite show ending and...well... having that gnawing feeling as though something is missing in your life? Gah...I guess I'm just a sick obsessive freak....yea...I am.....But anyway, sometimes shows are cancelled because of ratings, problems with voice actors etc. However, it seems to me, that in the case of Ed Edd n Eddy, the creator, Danny Antonucci, simply wants a little breather. He even said he'd love to make a movie, but it was up to the "big wigs" at CN to make it happen.

I guess what I'm trying to say is there's always hope, I've written a few (polite) letters to CN and A.K.A cartoon basically shmoozing it up shamelessly....and darn well proud of it too. I consider it a closer step to getting more episodes made. If they're bombarded with enough fan letters praising their favorite show, they'll be more inclined to order new shows and merchandising. And that applies to all the CC. I still have faith that fans are the backbone of the network.

on another note, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Freakaziod should have never been cancelled. grrrr :mad:

Correct me if i'm wrong Matt but isnt the current batch of new eps Dexter's fourth season

Well I'm sad to see Ed, Edd, n Eddy go as well, but as the creator said, I want to go out on top. The network does seem to be trigger happy once shows reach 52 episodes, but I think they want to keep testing new stuff to keep it fresh. In retrospect, four seasons for a cartoon program is decent. I think we'd be dreaming to get any of the CN shows to have a 10+ year run like the Simpsons.

If anything, we can always look forward to the specials. Hell, I still remember the permiere of the Eds and the PPG....then that Boy Girl Boy Girl marathon. Ah, 1998. lol. Oh well, no one likes change, but we must.

Well Ed, Edd, & Eddy is almost like the Simpsons, except for the violance on the show, but over all, the show is full of comedy, and that I wish they would countinue with this series.

I'm a big fan of the Ed's. :D :D

Id hate to see the eds go. They will still be showing episodes after season 4, but no new ones. Well...Hopefully, before the Eds go away, a movie will be made. One good thing will come out of this though, We'll see whats under double ds hat sooner.

Pretty darn sure, Dannys letter seemed to hint on it. He said that season 4 will have surprizes, and the last episode will be a hoot. So I think the last episode is the one.

I think there were only going to be 4 seasons, and then there weren't going to be any more new episodes made. It's a shame though, considereing that I think it's a great show-list night's episode had me in stitches, hehe! XD
