Question about Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

I found this article on Wikipedia…

…And I compared it to the Mystery Dungeon Special, Go Getters out of the Gate.

And, I know.
GAME¹ANIME
But doesn’t anyone else agree that these two variations of Mystery Dungeon are radically different.:sad:

Game =/= Anime. That's the single, best, sole and utmost reason for the differences. The staff working on the animated version didn't like what the game version had for a story, so they wrote their own. Simple as that.

You also have to remember that part of the staff working for this special were actually the PUSA (Pokemon United States team) writers, not just the original Japanese writing staff. The U.S Pokemon company really wanted a special for Mystery Dungeon coming out so they co-funded this which is why it's also a lot different in format compared to the actual game plot. The manga though is a bit more revelant when it comes to plot if you care more about seeing the story of Pokemon Mystery Dunegon in some entertainment form.
