View Full Version : Class of 3000 sound request

A common running gag in Class of 3000 is when a character would throw a random object, and a kid would yell, "Ow! My eye!" off-screen.
Can someone please send me an MP3 of this quote, hopefully before Friday? I have a big video project that's due next week, and I want to use that sound clip. I thought that maybe a Google or video site search might help my problem, but no luck, and CN Video hasn't been kind, either. :( So now I'm getting desperate.
Whoever has it, please send me a link via PM or Email.

I Don't Have That SFX, Havent U Tried Contacting CN Studios?
But I Do Have This SFX (From A SFX Complimation CD i Found At My Music Store): The Slot Machine Rolling Sound Used From Ep. 1 "Home" ( The SFX Was Played 2 Times With A Sign That Said "Sunny Bridges Sat Here Once" ).
But Due To Licencing (and The RIAA's Rules), I Cannot Give It To You, U May Need To Buy The SFX Comp CD.
I Rather Suggest: Go To CN Studios (Or The Other 2 Production Compaines That Made The Show) And Request The "Eye Pain" SFX.
Eather That Or Wait For A Rerun On CN, Grab A Tape Recorder, Time It Right, And Record It.

I don't have time to do any of that. The next airing of Class of 3000 is on Friday at 8:30PM. My college will be closed for the weekend hours before then, thus giving me no time to finish my project before Monday (when it's due). Also, CN Studios takes too long to respond to anything I send them, and there are no CD stores in my area which sell SFX compilations. This is why I'm desperate.

I don't have time to do any of that. Ouch. The next airing of Class of 3000 is on Friday at 8:30PM. During CN's Invaded Block My college will be closed for the weekend hours before then, thus giving me no time to finish my project before Monday (when it's due). Can You Try Doing It At Home Instead? Also, CN Studios takes too long to respond to anything I send them Yeah, theres that..., and there are no CD stores in my area which sell SFX compilations. Try CDNow, Amazon, Or EBay, Those Places Might Help. This is why I'm desperate.
BTW: Do You Know Any Friends Or Anyone Else U Know That That SFX, Sometimes, That Can Help.

How does that comment change anything?

I don't have a Mac, Final Cut Pro, or Soundtrack Pro (which I need to use for it).

I'd have to wait at least a week for delivery. Do I have a week's time before this Friday? (Hint: The answer is not "Yes.")

Sadly... :(
Is there anyone else in this forum who can maybe give me a link instead of advice?

I've had Audacity since 2005. The plan was that if I couldn't find an audio clip, I would use Audacity on a video clip.
Why haven't I used Audacity? Because I have no clip.

What about the "My Leg!" line from Spongebob? Considering how much they play Spongebob, you'll probably get that clip before the college closes.

You know what? Never mind. I found a substitute clip instead which works just as well.
Thanks for your help. :)
