Don't ask me WHY I remember this, since "Plague" was a dumb episode, but that "I'm toast" was when Batman was caught under a beam inside the burning Kobra building, just before Stalker pulled him out. Which led to a quote I used earlier, back on the other boards:

ANY-way... "Plague" should never have happened since Stalker really looked like he died in "Bloodsport".

Actually, I'm going to say this was Bruce in "eyewitness." Terry calls him from Max's after the whole parking garage fiasco and begs Bruce to believe his side of the story. Bruce says he does because he thinks that it's too convenient that the parts of the surveillance tape he watches blanks out during the time Barbara supposedly sees Terry kill Mad Stan.
