The View From The Future

Hi guys. This is my first time writing, well, pretty much anything on this website, which includes fanfics. however, This is not my first time writing one, so, I hope you all enjoy!!!:)

Chapter One: A new beginning to a finished future

It was a normal day for the titans, Raven was reading a book, as usual, Beast Boy and Cyborg were playing video games, you could only imagine who was winning, Starfire was saying stuff that made no sense, and Robin was trying to drown it all out. Suddenly, the alarms went off, to show slade.

"Why, hello, titans," he said, smirking, "I just wanted to tell you your existence is pitiful, and means nothing to me. Also, I'm going to take over the city, bye!"

The transmission ended and before anyone could even think, Robin was in the car.

"Hurry up!" he yelled.

When they found Slade, Robin charged at him, and kept failing miserably. It was sort of pitiful. The Titans came at him with all they had and could not defeat him.


Robin fell to the ground after a blow, and looked over at the people running in fear. Only one person stood there now, a young girl, about 15, or 16 at the most. She had short brown hair and yellow highlights. She had beautiful green eyes and was wearing a clean, white dress, that went down to her knees. She had boots on, the color of a nice, dark brown. She stood there, motionless, with her eyes wide with fear. When she noticed him watching her, she slowly turned then ran off.

The titans managed to beat Slade, for now, and Robin put no more thought into the girl. But, one week later, when Slade attacked again, she was right there, mesmorized with fear. Every week, the same thing happened, and every week he thought, "She was probably just in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Finally, he told the Titans about the strange girl, and how the same thing happened every time. They agreed it wasn't just bad timing on her part, so decided to question her next time they saw her.

In one week, Slade returned, again, and the girl was there, too. While every one else fought, Beast Boy was instructed to question her. She said it was just bad timing, but, he wouldn't take that.

Slade created an explosion out of nowhere, and knocked her unconsious just as she was about to leave. The Titans took her back to the tower until she woke up.

that was the first, probably most boring chapter out of the whole story, so please comment! If you liked it, I will write mor, if you didn't, too bad, I'm writing anyways. :gir:

Well, for a first fan fiction, this was interesting. I'm probably the last person that should be commenting on this, but you may want to work a little on your pacing. While descriptions of objects and people were clear, the descriptions actions were lacking a little. Anyways, this is a good start to a first fan fiction and I hope to see more. "Matt A" could definitely help you with the pacing as he helped me on it.

Chapter two:How to hide the truth

"Where am I?!" The girl screamed. She had just woken up after five hours of being unconsious. Finding herself in a foreign room with five superheroes she didn't even know didn't help, either.

"You are in Titans Tower, you were knocked unconsious in an explosion and have been asleep for five days now." Beast Boy lied.

"Five days?!" she screamed.

"Yeah, if you consider hours and days the same thing," Raven said, with a sarcastic tone.

"Don't worry about him, you're fine," Robin said, "Do you mind telling us your name?"

"My name?" She asked questionally. Her name. Wait-what was her name?! "I forgot my name!" she yelled. Well, she honestly knew her name, but didn't want the Titans to know it, so she said, "Until I remember my name, you can call me-um-Lily." She said, not knowing if they actually thought she had forgotten it.

The rest of the day went on and on with question after question and answer after answer. When the sun was finally beginning to set, however they said she could go home.

"I can't, at least, not right now." She said, not really knowing what to say.

"Why not?" Starfire asked. At that exact moment she saw something other then Lily, (thats what we will call her for now) something was so familiar about her yet she couldn't think of what it was.

'I'm...on vacation! I can't go home because I'm staying in a hotel." She lied. She doubted the Titans still believed her.

"Why don't you stay here tonight?" Robin asked. Ever since their thing with Terra, he would not normally say something like that. But, not only did she not have superpowers, but he could tell there was something familiar about her. He guessed the rest of the team could see it, too, seeing that not one of them objected. So, that's where she stayed for the night, every second of her stay seeming to drag on longer than forever.

I know that chapter was short, but, I couldn't think of anything else to write...so, stay tuned for the next chapter, chapter 3:Six months later

okay...so its been an insanely long time since i added another part to the story, but, i had a good reason...*flashback-(doorbell) oh no! not...unexpected visits from relatives! NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!*
oh, and just so you know, my story takes place BEFORE the movie :cool:

Chapter 3:Nerves

Terra threw a control behind her back, not noticing it hitting the wall and smashing into thousands of pieces. "Why won't this stupid computer work?! it was fine an hour ago!" she yelled. Terra knelt down to the ground. Her eyes were bloodshot, due to not sleeping for two days. Even if she tried to go to sleep, her fear of not seeing her best friend kept her wide awake. She wanted desperately to know that she would be able to do something, but she knew she could not. She might not ever see her best friend again. The moment she feared would be burned into her mind forever.

It had been roughly seventeen years before she had finally been rescued from her rock-like prison. She remembered who had finally come to rescue her. She had looked up into two emerald green eyes, and, thinking at first she had died, backed away. Suddenly, her vision came back to her, and she saw a girl no more than thirteen standing before her. She had bown air and pink highlights. She looked so familiar. But, where had she seen her before? The girl was shocked, obviously just as surprised as Terra was. Terra asked who she was, only to get a confusing answer.

"Hi! My name is Nightfire!" she said. Of course! She had the same colored eyes as Starfire, and somewhat resembled robin. But, how could this be? The last thing terra remembered was seeing Slade sink into a pit of lava, how could the Titans have thirteen year old children? terra asked what had happened, and how long she had been stone. Nightfire's answer made her faint.

She woke up on a couch, and lookd around. She thought it was all just a nightmare, but she looked up to see Nightfire right above her puting a rag on her head. "Where-where am I?" terra saked wearily, trying to comprehend all the events that happened in the last hour, or seventeen years.

"My house!" Nightfire said, giving her a glass of water, "You fainted in that cave.

"But, this isn't titans tower," terra managed to say.

"No, I haven't ever lived there, I've been there, but never lived there," She said. Terra stayed with her for the next three years, each day trying to learn more about what she missed while she was away. One day, they were going to the store when Slade appeared for the first time since terra had been there. SHe expected Nightfire to go insane or something like Robin always did, but she didn't. She stayed completely still. She didn't move at all, not even one hair. Slade remarked about the past, and then Slade shot something at her, and just like that, she was gone. She vanished. Then, Slade turned for terra. terra ran as fast as she could back to the house that they shared. SHe tried to figure out where sahe was. In the past.

The next chapter is all about what Terra missed while she was a statue. Love the comments!

*grasps head in confusion* okay... its been a while since i visited... but you were originally talking about girl with amnesia, and now we skipped to the future with Terra coming back and meeting the apparent daughter of Robin/Nightwing and Starfire? ... Okay then... The third chapter seems completely unrelated to the rest of the story... but there has to be some sort of connection, because you said it yourself... urrggh... i'll wait and see. okay, now that my negative rant is over, this story was pretty good.

okay...so, this was supposed to not be as confusing as it was, but I'll explain it to you. basically, the story skips back in forth from the present, which F.Y.I. is before the movie and is somewhere around 2003, to the future, around 2023, about twenty years later after terra has been brought back to human form. Also, This is before the episode where she comes back. basically in the future, Robin and Starfire have had a daughter, named Nightfire, who winds up being the person who brings terra back, by accident. As you will find out later, she is DEATHLY afraid of Slade.

okay...well, i have nothing to do and no one is replying so i should probably just write the next chapter instead of trying to explain it to you before you even see it, so here goes...

Chapter four: The Day that changed the world

Nightfire sat down next to her new found friend. Terra had many questions about what was going on, and how she hadn't been rescued for several years. Since she saw nothing wrong with telling her, she told her everything that had happened between when she was last concious to this point of day.

"The Titans slowly went home, they moped around for a while and then started cleaning up around the tower, making repairs and changing all of their passwords. Eventually, Raven retreated to her room looking for an antidote for you, while everyone else just called it a night and went to bed. Of course I wasn't there, but I think I know how Robin felt. To be chasing Slade all of his life, and then suddenly to just stop and pretend like he never existed, it must of been a hard day for him. Days, weeks, months went past before the name finally flowed through the the air. 'It must of been a joke' they thought, Slade wasn't alive, so how could he be calling them? It couldn't be him, could it?" Nightfire paused for a moment, trying to look like she was thinking over the situation and weighing out the factors, but Terra knew she was just trying to add dramatic effect to her story. When Nightfire realized there was no point in continuing to do math problems in the air, she went on with her story. "Anyways, they got a call from Slade. Cyborg was looking back and forth from the computer screen to Robin the whole time Slade was talking, both anxious and nervous to see how Robin was going to react to seeing is old enemy. Unfortunately, I don't know just how he reacted, I think I fell asleep the last time someone told me this story, so I don't know. All I know was that whether it was Slade or just an imposter, the Titans showed up, ready to put this mess behind them. Just when they could almost tell it was an imposter, something happened," Once more Nightfire paused, but Terra didn't think that it was for dramatic effect, Nightfire was probably thinking whether or not she should really tell the story. Not because she didn't like Terra, or wanted to keep her guessing, but probably because she didn't know whether she really wanted to remember what happened next, as if it caused her a pain of some sort to just think about it.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to," Terra said, after a few moments of telling herself she didn't have to hear the story, no matter how much she wanted to know the ending. Then Terra noticed something. Why were the two of them all alone? She thought by now, Robin or Starfire would have come in to see their old friend. Suddenly a chill ran down her back. She didn't want to know how this story ended. And she was more afraid that it had one, for that matter.

Nightfire looked over at Terra as she was looking at all walls, like something was missing. "You're looking for them, aren't you?" Nighfire asked.

"What? Looking for who?" Terra said, not really wanting an answer.

"You're not going to find them. They...went away some time ago. I don't think you will see them anytime soon" Nightfire sighed as she got up and walked towards the window. She looked out, and saw nothing. Pure white snow as far as the eye could see. "Why did you have to leave so soon?" she thought to herself. She sighed again, then finally said, "It's late. I'm going to bed. You can sleep on the couch if you like." Terra nodded a 'yes' then Nightfire turned the light off.

Capter Five: Like walking on Thin ice

Lily(or as we can now call her, Nightfire) walked out of her bedroom. Three weeks ago the titans had took her in and gave her the room that Terra used to have. After three years of living with her, she knew terra never meant any harm. Something eerie hung around the room occasionally, like she was supposed to see something that wasn't in plain sight. she had looked all over the place, but didn't find anything. She walked ou into the living room, but no one was there. She looked at the clock. 12 noon. She was a ligh sleeper, so she would have heard f the sirens went off, but she didn't. If anyone was here at all, he would be i nthe evidence room. She was right, for there was Robin looking over his evidence on Slade.
"Though I'd find you here," she said, "Where are the others?" He hardly looked up, but he did talk to her.
"They are at the grocery store, why?" he asked.
"No reason," she said, walking off. She had to make the least amount of conversation with him, and couldn't make much interaction, either. Like Cyorg had said, 'if you mess with the past, you'll end up with monkeys ruling the future.' she smiled and went off to once more search for the eerie creation lurking in her room.

Ok, this was a great chapter, but was kinda confusing how everything comes into play:sweat: . So Nightfire was put into the past where the teen titans are still teenagers where she meets her still teenage parents Robin and Starfire. She's living in Terra's old room, and thinks someone is watching her? Am I close:confused: ? Anyway, still a great chapter. I can't wait to see how this story develops. Looking forward to the next chapter. Keep up the good work.

okay, well yeah. you are close. The only thing wrong is that she's thinks it is something she should be seeing, not someone. Kind of like when you know you need to find something, and you know it is nearby, but you are not sure what exactly you are looking for. but yeah, you are close. :)

that last chapter was really kind of short, but I had to go somewhere. Anyway,on with the adventure!

Chapter Six: Finding a Place

When Nightfire go to the store,the other Titans had already left. She was not suer why she was going to try to find them. Maybe she just wanted a break from the haunting that seemed to go on in the room. But, going there gave her a great idea.
"If the titans are supposed to be saving the day," she thought, "The what if they are stuck a the store? What would he town do when Slade decids he feels like building a giant robot and crushing the town? I mean not that he will or anyhing, but still." She ran home to tell the others of her idea. "So if I do all of your cooking," she began to tell the titans, "and all of your shopping, you can be out of here and save the day when you are needed, and I'll stay here keeping myself preoccupied."
"Wait, are you saying you want to do all of the cleaning and dishes too?" Beast Boy asked, seeing if she would offer that to, especially since tonight was his night to do the dishes.
"Sure, okay," she said, doing anything to keep her away from her room. She had to convince the others, but they eventually gave in. There was no need to even look at Beast Boy to convince him, his mind was already made up.
"You're hired!" he yelled, walking off towards the couch and picking up the game controller. "Hey Cy, I'll race you!" he said, already into the game.
It was a little while before the others went to bed, But Nightfire stayed awake. She wanted to walk around the city, and see what it looks like before it gets taken over. Eventually she returned home, and went to bed. But then she notice something she hadn't before. It was a little silver heart box underneath the bed. She opened up the little box and saw something. Suddenly, everything made sense.

OK, now I get it:D . It was that heart shaped box that beastboy made for Terra that was calling her. Good idea for the story:cool: . Can't wait for the next chapter.

Unfortunetly, the suspence is going to grow a whole lot really soon, because every two chapters I switch back to a different time zone, so now you have to sit through two chapters about the future. Only then you can figure out what exactly was inside the box.

I will tell you now, Terra honestly thought Beast Boy would find it. Obviously, he wasn't the one who found it, though.


You can expect for this story to be another, I guess four chapters long, and then that's probably it.

Chapter Seven: Memories

"Good Morning!" Nightfire said, startling a sleeping Terra, "Would you like any breakfast?"
"What? oh, uh, sure," Terra said, waking up, "I had the weirdest dream last night."
"Yeah, what was it?" Nightfire asked, cracking in egg into a frying pan.
"Someone had woken me up from being a statue and was telling me the weirdest story and-AHH! That wasn't a dream!" Terra yelled, pointing her finger at Nightfire, "I wasn't dreaming!"
"Um, no. By the way, how do you like your eggs done?"
"What, oh, I think I'll pass, I just need a glass of ater," Terra said, sitting down at a table. Nihtfire handed her a glass of water and sat down. "Um, Nightfire," Terra hesitated, "Could I ask you something?"
"Sure, anything,"
"Where did they go?"
"What?"
"Last night, you were talking to me, and you said they had left. Where did they go?" Terra asked, watching her closely.
Nightfire smiled, "If I told you now, then I would be ahead of myself, now wouldn't I? Now I suppose you want to know what happened, so should I go on with my story?"
"Yes, please," Terra asked, regretting she had ever asked.
"Something happened right when they were about to tell that the Slade in front of them was an imposter, that changed their mind forever. A force field came down on the titans, with the exception of Robin. Slade began to run, and Robin began to folow. Whoever that imposter was, he woul bring him to justice. Starfire called after Robin, but he turned around for only a split second to tell her he woul be fine, and that she should help the others try to get out. But only moments after he had left," Another long pause for dramtic effect was given out before she continued, "There was an explosion. The force field dissolved and Starfire flew after him, mean while, Slade cast a spell on the other three. It was like mind contol, only worse. It would slowly drain their power away, while they went out to destroy Stafire. When the curse is finally released, they will have no power left to live for more than an hour, Slade will be the most powerful person in the world, and the three of them will pretty much die thinking that they were still back in Jump City 20 years ago." Nightfire said, a look of fear arouse on Terra's face.
"W-Will?" terra asked, almot afraid.
"Will," nightfire added, "So I'll sum this up, Slade told Robin if the other titans realized he wasn't dead, or rther, hadn't died on that explosion, he would kill Starfire, he wasn't ready to take that risk, but he did anyway. A month after Starfire had returned to Tameran, he showed up on her front dtep, or. balcony I should say. Four years later, I was born, withOUT any superpowers, for that matter. Being an easy target and a princess, we had to escape to Earth. But Earth had changed. The city, thinking both Robin and Slade were dead, was covered in snow. And I mean SNOW. Titans Tower had to be buried in twenty feet of it, at all the buildings were somehow, well, levitating. They built a house here, an when I was six, I was out walking when I saw Slade for the very first time. Not knowing who the heck Slade was, I talke to him. He said he wanted to throw my parents a surprise party, so I couldn't tell them about this meeting. Then, he let his vicious dog loose on me. Besides having more cuts and bruises then I thought possible, I was fine until my foot got stuck, Right before that dog killed me, I saw a black aura around me. I had been saved!"
"Wait, so Raven saved you? I thought she was out to get you." Terra asked, very confused.
Nightfire felt like hitting herself. She had forgotten who she was talking to. "You know what? I ran out of butter yesterday and, well, you always need butter, so I think I should go to the store and-" terra cut her off.
"It wasn't Raven, was it?" terra asked suspiciouly.
"Well, you see, I don't really know how to break it to you, but, you were gone, and, well..." Nightfire trailed off.
"Now wonder she hated me so much!" Terra said, finally realizing it must of been Raven's son who she was talking about. Most likely husband: Beast Boy.Of course.
"Yes, and Cyborg had a son, and the three of us are still not cursed and/or enemies. Sometimes." Both of them laughed. Nightfire continued, "And the next big event was the literally random birth of my sister. No, I'm serious. No one can figure out why exactly she was born. But on my seventh birthday, it was the worst day of my life! My mom was in the hospital, with some alien cold, when she suddenly became really weak. At the time I didn't know why I was being shoved into a closet, but, well, let's just say Slade kept his promise. He said he already got my father, but I know that's lie. I have no proof, but I know it's a lie. My sister was put in the orphanage, I don't get her back until my 14th birthday, but I had to work at a bar playing guitar, not my first choice, but people have chosen to go with Raven, thinking I'm evil, or something. If it weren't for the bar, I'd be at the orphanage right now. You would be stone. I wouldn't know Crow or Jeff (The So called Titans sons) andI probably would have commited suicide. The End."
"Um. Wow." terra said. And Thus, the chapter ended.

I know, way too much dialogue, too many typos, and the longest chapter. Such a tragic story, really.

Great Chapter. One question though, why is Raven after Nightfire? Did Robin and Starfire dissapear, or is it just Robin thats gone? As you can see, I'm a little confused:confused: . I'm thinkin' about that box, and have many theories on what's inside. I'm guessin a glock, 10,000 dollars in cash, and a love note for Beastboy:evil: . JK:D , except about a note fo BB. Can't wait for the next chapter, and to find out what's in the box.

What happened was that Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg were all brainwashed into thinking that Starfire and Nightfire, and Nightfire's little sister, (You'll hear more about her) did something horribly evil, like murdered an Emperor or somethhing, so they are all out to get her. And with Robin and Starfire, well, no one's really sure what happened to Robin, only that he dissapeared after Slade killed Starfire 9If you didn't get the part about Slade keeping his promise) and, strange as it seems, while I am not finished with this I am almost finished with a much, happier to say the least, sequel.

Chapter 8: Old Friends and Memories

Terra shook the memories out of her mind. She had been so nice to her, and Terra never told her why she was encased in rock. After all she had been through, she took her in without knowing that she was a former apprentice for the man who killed her mother.

"Whoa there, T," someone called behind her, "looks like you need to get som rest. Don't worry, we'll get her back." Terra couldn't help but to smile at her nickname. where he had come up with, she'll never know. As for who was behind her, well, it was Cyborg and Bee's son, Jeff. BB and Raven also had a son, Crow. Weird name, but it matches Raven's black bird thing.

"I don't-I can't sleep," she said.

"Too bad, you need some some rest, and you are going to get some if it's the last thing you do!" Crow said, coming in. BB's humor was strange, to say the least, but he had nothing on his son.

"I'm surprised you aren't becoming over obssesed with trying to get her back,"

"What's that supposed to mean?" He said, crossing his arms and looking away. After a minute, he looked back, "It's not like I have a crush on her, or anything. Where'd you come up with that idea?"

"I didn't. I didn't say anything about you having a crush on her," she smiled. She was having a war with herself trying to figure out who could make it more obvious, Robin or Crow. So far they were neck and neck. Crow stood there speechless before he materialized through the floor. It was a very close tie.

Suddenly, Terra froze. What had Slade been using that day when he zapped her? It looked like some sort of strange gun, but she remembered it didn't hit her, but next to her, making her fall down. Was there a cloaking device on the ground, or did he shoot her into a different time zone? Was time travel even possible? If it was, where would he send her? Knowing Slade, it would be in a time where she would have to relive her pain. Where would it hurt her the most? She knew. She knew where she had been sent.

"T, hey T! Uh, terra, you okay?" Jeff asked. She came back from zoning out.

"What, oh, right! We need a time machine and fast!"

"Uh, why?"

"That's what Slade did with her! he sent her into the past!"

"Okay, you really need some sleep."

"I'm serious!"

"Sleep."

"Time machine!"

"Sleep."

"I've got waffles! I know you want them."

"Why would I be brought to think you weren't mentally insane because you have-is that blueberry? Fine! I'll see what I can do," he grumbled, taking a bite out of his waffle.

"If she sees that box, we could all be saved. If she doesn't," Terra thought, "We are all doomed."

Great chapter. One question though, didn't you say Cyborg's son wuz named Bolt in an earler chapter:confused: ? Im guessin there is a note or something inside that heart shaped box. Cy's kid is such a sucker for food:D . Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter.

*Sigh* I was going to make everyone on ths board wait for three weeks before I write what was in the mysterious box of wonders, but my little sisters left for two weeks and I am already so bored I am about to throw my computer out the window.

So,without further ado, the moment most of you have been waiting for, the mystery chapter that might not be your favorite, and still might, the next chapter!!!!


Chapter Nine:Secrets Revealed

Nightfire stared at what she was holding. It was a note. On it, there were instructions for BB. Instructions he obviously never saw. She ran out of her room, and bumped into Cyborg.

"Cyborg!" she yelled, making him look at her funny,

"Yes?" he asked.

"I need to know about your security system."

He eyed her suspiciously. "Why?"

"Well, I was thinking that just in case Slade came after me, I mean I wouldn't know why or anything, but just in case, is my DNA is the scanners? I mean, if it was he coould brainwash me into getting past security for him and I don't want to end up like Terra, so-"

"No, its not," he said, he was very suspicious now, "you can't get pst security unless we are with you to prevent something like Terra's incident from ever happening again."

"Oh, good," she faked a sigh of relief, "I was beginning to get worried." He walked off, and she groaned. "Great," she thought to herself, "Now I can't get past security. This is going to be tough."

Nightfire stayed awake all night, figuring out how she was going to shut down the alarms. She wished there was some other way, but the titans would go after ANYBODY if that alarm sounded. And one person who was no exception was Slade. See, the note had said this:

Dear Beast Boy,

If you are reading this, then you must know that you are all in great danger. Slade is planning to take you all down one by one. As much as I hate to admit it, it is a really good, well thought out plan. He is going to trick Robin into blackmail. Then, he will brainwash you, Cyborg, and Raven into being his henchmen. He will make you take down Starfire, while using up your powers and gaining them. If you succeed and and kill Starfire, then who knows what Robin will do, but he won't fight. As soon as Slade uses up all of your power and strength, he will release you from the spell, but you will all die! What you need to do is shut down the alarms so that it won't sound. You need to act fast! Time is running out!

She almost had to laugh at terra's signature. She probably would of, had she not known that Terra was 100% right. She sighed. Mabye the best thing to do was give the note to Beast Boy, then it would save them all. As mugh as she hated to admit it, there was nothing SHE could do. But just as she stood up, the window behind her broke.

A high pitched scream could be heard throughout the tower. The Titans got up and rushed to Nightfire's room, only to see her not there, and a broken window. They searched the room, but no evidence could be found. Beast Boy saw the note on the floor and skimmed through it. He looked shocked, but he put it in his pocket before anyone saw it.

"Cyborg, do you see any fingerprints?" Robin asked as Cyborg scanned the broken glass.

"No, but..." he trailed off.

"But what?" Robin asked briskly.

"She was acting really weird today. Really suspicious. Like she knew something was going to happen."

"Did she say anything else?"

"Well, she seemed really concerned that someeone was going to kidnap her tonight."

"Did she say who?"

"Yeah, she seemed concerned that her kidnapper was going to be," he pasued, "Slade."

"What?! Why? What else did she say?"

"She was asking about the security system, wanted to know if there was any way she could get past it. She said she was worried that Slade would brainwash her into doing something. weirdest part was, when I told her we hadn't put her DNA in yet, she sighed in relief, but as soon as she thought I was out of earshot. she groaned. It was sort of like-like,"

"Like she wanted to get past security," Beast Boy finished, "for him."

The alarm sounded, and the Titans raced off.

It seems like your building up the story for something huge to happen. I can't wait to find out how the Titans are going to get through this. Chapter 10: Can it get any weirder?

Not surprisingly, it was Slade's DNA on the screen. The alarm said Slade was at the Tower door, but when they got there, it definately wasn't Slade.

"Um, hello," the Titans managed to say. The only thing weirder then what had just happened was the fact that the alarms had said Slade was there, but he wasn't. In fact, it had to be the polar opposite.

"Uh, Jericho," Cyborg said, "Why are you here, in the middle of the night, in the rain, right after Lily was kidnapped?"

Jericho just stood there, looking confused.

"Oh, right. How about you think what you would say if you could, and Raven will tell us." Cyborg said, embarrased by his mistake.

"Let's see," Raven said, contacting Jericho, "I was in town tonight, when I heard a scream, so I ran over here to see what it was."

"Okay. Well, the newest addition to the team was just kidnapped by this guy who is our arch nemesis, whose name is Slade. Think you can help?" Robin asked.

Jericho nodded. 'Why does that name seem so familiar?' he asked himself. Shaking the thought out of his head, he ran off wth the others.

When the Titans arrived at Slade's secret lair, (Which really wasn't all that secret) they saw that Lilly was in a cage dangling above them. She was unconsious, and tied up. Slade was looking up at her, beaming at his brilliantness. When he saw the Titans come in, he paid no attention to Jericho.

"Ah! Titans!" He said, smirking, "You have finally arrived! I thought it wouldn't take as long."

As the Titans were busy yelling at Slade, and Slade was yelling at the Titans, (Jericho not included) Jericho looked around. Everything was....familiar. He looked up at the man whose name was Slade. He was familiar. Why was everything so....weird?

Suddenly, Jericho got really scared. He knew who it was yelling back at the Titans. He knew why the Tower thought he was Slade, he knew what was about to happen. He got really pale, and Raven must of sensed it.

"You okay, Jericho?" she asked. Slade turned to look at him.

"My, my," he said, in his creepy voice, "Look who's decided to come home."

That was it. And, if I do say so myself, this chapter was pure GENIUS! With the note, and Beast Boy secretly knowing they were doomed, and Lily (AKA Nightfire) being kidnapped, and now a little family reunion! Could anything ELSE possibly go wrong? And what does Robin have to say about this mess? Stay tuned, for another episode of "What else could POSSIBLY go wrong?"

Okay, so I was eager to get this chapter down, also, so here we go!

Chapter 11; Um, where are we?

It must have been a weird sight. In fact, it was a weird sight. Someone who looked like Raven and Beast Boy were fused together, a guy who looked like Cyborg, a girl who looked like Slade's former apprentence, and a nine year old girl in a purple dress, with ruby red hair and emrald green eyes that made her look like Starfire had been shrunk, all together, on the sidewalk, appearing out of nowhere.

"I take it you finished the time machine?" Terra asked sarcastically. Noticing the strange looks, she pulled them all into an alley.

"Alright," she said, "We have to put together a disguise for each of us so that we aren't, well, noticed anymore than we already have been. I'm going to go out to a store, and buy someclothes for me and Nightstar (Nightfire's sister) while you two figure out how you aren't going to be noticed."

She walked off leaving the rest of them to figure out what they were supposed to do. when she returned, she had a big bag filled with stuff. Nightstar changed from the mini starfire, into a nine year old girl with a yellow shirt and blue jean shorts. Her hair was put up in a pony tail, and, to make sure her eyes didn't stand out, she took some red paint and painted freckles all over her face.

Terra herself had a white shirt on, that buttoned down the middle. She had a blue jean mini skirt. Her hair was also put up in a pony tail, but she refrained from the freckles. Then, she looked over at the boys.

"What?" she asked. They all stared. "I'm going to assume that was a compliment. Now, what have you come up with?"

"I've found some old rings our parents used to use when they went under cover," Jeff said, "Basically, they can program anything they want to into it, and it will make them look like that. Of course, it is only temporary, but that's fine for now."

They programmed the ring and transformed. They had normal clothes on, besides their uniform, and they didn't look half bad.

"Now, let's go find Nightfire!" Crow said, acting like he had just discovered the reason why they were there. He walked onto the street.

"Shh!" terra said, pulling him off the street. She is probably under a different name, and if by some chance she is with the Titans, who knows what is going to happen if they find out her real name."

"Good point," Nightstar said, looking over at him.

"Besides," terra said, "I knew you would go all freaky about finding her. Give it up, we ALL know you have a crush on her. And I'm more than surer she feels the same way."

"I do not have a crush on her!" He yelled, but it wasn't convincing.

"Oh, right, sorry about that," Nightstar said, "You two are more like best friends who are inseperable by all means." Everyone stared at her.

"Good one" Terra said.

"Come on, we should get going, we probably have a lot of work to-hey! Is that Jericho?" Jeff asked, noticing a happy-go-lucky guy dressed like a hippie.

"I think so," Terra said, seeing him, "But why is he in Jump City? He shouldn't be here yet."

So, as you can guess this happened the day that Jericho appeared. I will miss you all in the six days that I am gone, but have no fear, I WILL return!

Chapter 12:Building a time machine

"So," Terra began as the four of them watched as Jericho passed by, not noticing either of them, "how did you build the time machine so quickly? I mean, sure, it did take three days, but I thought it would be closer to a month." Terra looked up as she talked. Thunder started crashing, and lightning flashed. Rain began to pour down. The four of them went into a small cafe and sat down.

"Well....." Jeff began.

Flashback

After Jeff had eaten his waffles, he began to wonder how he was going to build a time machine. "Of all things," he thought, "A time machine! How am I supposed to build one of those?"

As he thought about it, he realized that it WAS impossible to use technology alone to travel through time. Not only that, but traveling through time could disrupt the course of history. Not that that would be bad, after all, he was one of Nightfire's best friends. She desperately needed a new life. But still, it could always get worse. No, he neede something more then just technology. He needed magic. Dark magic. But the only one who knew enough of it to do something like that was Raven, but nobody was on good terms with her. So what would he do?

Later that night, he was walking down the streetwhen he noticed the air around the old house he was standing in front of was colder. He looked at the house, and noticed that it belonged to someone named Herald. "Oh yeah!" he thought to himself, "Herald opens rifts in space all the time! With his magic and my technology, we can do this!"

Getting Herald to help was not as easy as expected. First, he said no. Then, he said no. Finally, he said he would for a price. He wanted Jeff to work for him for the next three days. Jeff agreed, but much to his dissapointment, work=maid service. After he had completed his job every night, he went home and worked on the time machine. That was annoying, also.

Terra would say sentence fragments all the time because she was so tired. Nightstar would ask him what every single button and/or tool did. And Crow, Crow was the worst. Every single minute he would walk in, ask if the time machine was done, get annoyed when the answer was 'no' and walk back out. 60 seconds later, he would walk back in again. And when Jeff finally locked the door, Crow went through it. Finally, after three long days, sleepless nights, annoying friends, and a very incompatible Herald, it was done. It was finally done.

End of flasback

".....I just worked fast," He said. It was getting darker now, and it was pouring. Suddenly, a scream rang through the city.

"That was her," Crow yelled, standing up. He knocked over the chair while doing so, "Come on, lets go!"

Well, now you are about to see all the chapters and all the characters in one place. And, we will have a somewhat HUGE family reunion. I love you all!

Alright, here I am again....

Chapter 13:The Strange rescue

Jericho was dumbfounded. "No!" He thought to himself, "Not Him!"

Before anyone could say anything, three light blue flashes appeared, blinding them all. Then, two cables turned black, and snapped. Lastly, a yellow flash appeared. Then, nothing. In fact, the only thing that had appeared to of changed was that the cage Lily had been in was broken, and the bottom was no longer attached. But, if it was empty, where was Lily?

Everybody looked at Jericho, and Jericho looked down. Right there, in his arms, lay an unconsious Lily. Before he could make a face and wonder how she had got there, the lair began to shake, and rocks came tumbling down from the ceiling and walls. They all ran out, and watched as the lair crumbled.

Back at the Tower, Lily was in the medical room. But, something was different about her. Every test they ran on her, every medicine they tried giving her, none of it worked. It was alomost as if she wasn't human. Beast Boy turned to look at Jericho.

"So," he began, "Any idea what happened in the lair?" Jericho shook his head. He wished he knew what was going on. First, this strange new Titan gets kidnapped, then, they show up at his father's evil lair, and finally, Lily ends up in HIS arms? He stared out the window, and looked down at the wet city below. He heard a noise and turned around.

"Where-where am I?" Lily asked, confused on how she had gotten there. She looked around the room. Suddenly, she spotted Jericho. "And why is he here?" She aked, pointing to him.

The Titans explained everything. She was still confused, but them remembered the note. "Hey, when you were in my room, did you see any paper on the floor?" she asked.

"No, we did not," Starfire said, puzzled, "Why do you wish for us to have seen such in item on your floor?"

"Um, no reason," she lied. The Titans and Jericho said she needed rest, and they left her in the room. Although she was unconsious, she remembered being in the cage, and the light. "Maybe," she thought to herself, "Maybe that black light was Crow, maybe he found a way into the past. And the yellow light could have been Terra, that would explain the rocks, but, what about the blue lights? Did I do that?"

OKAY! I am ready for the next installment! I am trying to get this story done ASAP So I don't have to mess with it during school.

Chapter 14:Realization

Back in his lair, Slade thought about what had happened. "Jericho has returned!" he thought, "But why was he with the Titans? And why did he save the girl?" He decided this needed some looking into. HE knew who the girl was, but did THEY? Did THEY know what mysterious secret she hided? No. THEY didn't.

He soon began to also wonder about how she had escaped AND been unconsious. A thought came to him. He realized what had happened. "No! She came alone! It couldn't be them! No, there has to be a reasonable explanation!"

Jericho sat in the room the Titans had let him stay in. "Why? Why him? Better yet, why me?" Questions filled his mind. He wondered what he had ever done to deserve HIM as a father.

"Father," The word disgusted him. But, it also made him think. "Father," he repeated to himself, "I wonder if that strange girl, what was her name? Lily? If her capture had something to do with HER father. Was she the enemy? Or a friend? Or even worse, a trap?"

He thought about it for a while, and just as he was about to go to sleep, he heard Robin walking down the hallway.

"Goodnight, Titans!" Robin said.

"Father," Jericho whispered just before he fell asleep.

Nightfire walked sleepily down to her room. As she entered, she froze, and stepped back out.

"Who's there?" she called. No one answered. She repeated the question.

"Relax," The voice said. Beast Boy stepped out of the corner, "It's only me."

"Why are you here?" she asked.

"You know why I'm here. I found the note. I didn't show anyone, though." He whispered, so that no one else would be able to hear.

"WHAT?! WHY?" Nightfire yelled, stepping into her room, and quickly closing the door.

"So no one would freak out! Look, none of this is going to happen, don't worry," he said, " It was probably a joke."

A joke. A joke. How dare he think that was 'A JOKE'. If that was a joke she would kill who ever dared try to tell it. She wanted to, no needed to keep her life a secret so the Titans wouldn't find out, but it was too late to stop herself.

"There is NO joke in this letter!" She yelled, "This is my LIFE! I am an ORPHAN because of this note! Because someone thought this was just 'a joke'. Well, news flash! I'm from the future, I am Robin's daughter, and this is NO joke!"

She took a deep breath, and then a look of pure horror spread across her face. "I didn't mean that!" she cried. But it was too late. He knew. He knew it all.

Cyborg had fallen asleep watching commercials for BBQ sauce and computers. About an hour later, he woke up.

"I MISSED A SPECIAL AT K-MART!" he yelled, then fell asleep.

Alright. So I got tired of the whole 'switch back and forth thing' so I will merge the chapters together now.

Chapter 15:The first chapter that merges

"No! Don't listen to me! I'm-I'm-I'm delerious! (Did I spell that right....?) Yes! Way too tired! Don't know what is coming out of my mouth! After that explosion, who knows how sane I'll be! Hehehehehe!" Nightfire blurted out, falling to the floor. As hard as she tried, BB wasn't believing her.

"No way! If that really was a lie than you wouldn't care as much! I'm going to go tell Robin!" He said as he began to walk out of the door. She grabbed onto his leg the way a stubborn child would do to their parents when they wanted something, and tried to stop him. He just limped out of the door dragging her behind him.

"No! You can't!" she whispered, now that they were out of the room.

"What are you going to do if I do?" he asked.

Nightfire thought for a moment, and lit a starbolt. Only thing was, she was still holding onto his ankle.

"OW! Fine! Have it your way! But he is going to find out," He said, rubbing his ankle, "and when he does-"

"He won't."

"But-"

"What won't I find out?"

"Oh, that she's your-"

"Robin?!" they both shouted.

"Yes, and she's my...."

"Oh, she's your-" BB looked over his shoulder. Nightfire's eyes were glowing, "your, um, biggest fan?" He closed his eyes, ready to feel the starbolt. But it never came.

Robin looked over at Nightfire. "Uh, yeah! Yeah! That's it! And there is this whole secret fan club somewhere, and that's why I was kidnapped! Because, Slade doesn't, um, like us very much?"

"Okaaaaayyyy....well, if you two are done here, I'm going to bed."

"Goodnight!" they both said, each faking a smile. After he had left, BB dared to look over at Nightfire. She was in her room, with the door almost closed, but still open enough that you could see one eye.

"Say one more word about this, and you'll be tommorow's lunch special," she said, closing the door.

BB had turned pale. He quietly went into his room, and closed the door. To say that she scared him was an understatement. She TERRIFEID him. She made Raven look like the queen of bunnies and flowers.

"Sooooo, still think it was a good idea to save her?" Terra asked Crow. She looked up. The crash had sectioned off part of the lair, and now they were stuck.

"Look. It seemed like an idiot proof plan at the time," he said, trying to move the rock.

"Idiot proof. That explains it," Jeff said, laughing.

"Okay, you, be quiet. You," he said, pointing to Terra, "try to move the rock, and Nightstar, there is a hole about 78 feet up, I can sense it. Fly up there and try to climb trough. If you can get to the outside world, get Nightfire, and bring her back."

"Why are you suddenly in charge?" Jeff asked, as Nightstar flew up.

"Because nobody is doing anything else!" he yelled back.

He shrugged, and continued scanning the area. Crow stepped back into a corner. He pulled out his communicator. He tried to contact Nightfire, or find out what time it was, but he couldn't. He sighed and went back to trying to get out of there.

yeah...so, here's my next chapter. It will be pretty funny.

Chapter 16:Therapy, keeping secrets, pictures, and suspicions

It was morning, and the titans had just woken up. As they walked into the opps center, they smelled pancakes. When they entered, sure enough there were twenty stacks of pancakes on the table.

"Ooh! Pancakes!" Cyborg yelled, diving into a pile of pancakes.

"okay, so, where did the pancakes come from?" Raven asked, walking to the table.

"Oh, I made them!" Nightfire said, walking out from behind the counter, "Hey, cyborg, how are the pancakes?"

"These are the most delicious pancakes I have EVER eaten. EVER." He replied, gulping down another pile.

"You know, I find that funny,"

"Why?"

"Well, it's just that the piles of pancakes you happen to be eating are made from soy milk and egg substitutes."

"Are you telling me these are tofu pancakes?"

"Basically."

Cyborg turned green. "I think I'm gonna be sick!'' Cyborg yelled as he ran toward the bathroom.

Nightfire looked at the titans and gestured toward the table. "Enjoy!" she said.

Everyone sat down and started gulping down pancakes-even Raven. Finally, Robin got up.

"Hey, Jericho, we need to talk," he said.

Jericho looked confused.

"You see," he said, "When you came the other night and helped us find Slade, the moniter said you were Slade. Any idea why?" Robin looked over at Raven.

"Let's see, he says-or thinks- that there is somewhere he has to be right now. Actually, he's thinking he needs to be anywhere but here."

Jericho ran out of the room.

"Okay. That was even weirder than last night."

"What happened last night?" Starfire asked, emptying her third bottle of mustard onto her pancakes. Robin felt like throwing up just at the sight of it. Nightfire looked over at Beast Boy.

"Robin!" Beast Boy yelled, nervous, "I just rememberd something! that night that Lily was kidnapped, I was walking past the bathroom when I saw this huge blob thing! It was all like 'ERRRR!' and I was all like 'DUDE!' and then Lily screamed and we all ran to find her, and I guess I just forgot about it."

Robin must have thought Beast Boy was officially insane. Just as he was about to get a straight jacket out, he heard Cyborg scream. They all ran into the bathroom to see....a huge blob monster!

Nightfire looked at Beast Boy. "Wow," she said, looking at the monster, "Beast Boy, I didn't know I scared you THAT much last night. You must of been up all night building that."

"Um, actually, you terrify me. But, I didn't build that. I really just remembered he was in there."

Nightfire slowly backed away, as the others tried to fend off the blob monster.

LATER THAT DAY.......

Robin had just taken a shower. That was one brutal fight with the blob monster. As he walked to the opps center, he accidentily ran into Lily and they both fell down.

"I'm sorry!" he said, holding out his hand to help her up. Suddenly, she looked really familiar. She looked like...like...like Starfire. In fact, she resembled Starfire in a way. He didn't even know he was staring at her.

"Can I help you?" Lily asked, starting to get creeped out. Robin shook his head, and then looked at her again.

"Actually, you can. In your little fan club, do you guys only like me, or-"

"You want to know if we know you have a crush on Starfire, which we do, and the only reason you are asking is because everyone you see is starting to look like Starfire, right?"

"I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON STARFIRE!" He yelled.

"Of course you don't. Now just step into my office," she said, pointing to her room. She had actually set it up like an office, there was a desk, some chairs, and blinds in the background over the windows. He sat down in the chair in front of her desk, and she pulled out some paper.

"Now," she said, "I will show you a series of pictures. You will tell me what you see." She pulled out a picture of Starfire.

"Starfire?"

She pulled out another one of her.

"Starfire."

She pulled out one of when she and starfire went to the mall.

"Starfire. And let me guess, the next one will be:Starfire. Look, all these pictures are of Starfire. Obviously that would be who I see."

"Actually, Robin, your mind is playing tricks on you. These are not pictures of Starfire, but of sandwiches and washing machines. Admit it, you do have a crush on her!"

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! Those are not sandwiches are washing machines! Look, I was even in that last one!" Robin got up to leave.

"You cannot hide your feelings for long! That, and I have a message here for you. Someone called you from a 'Wayne Manor'. Does that ring a bell to you?"

"What?! What was the message?"

"If I tell you you can't hide your feelings."

"What does that mean?"

"You have to tell Starfire you love her."

"FINE! What was the message?"

"They said to call back."

Which one is insane, Robin or the therapist person? Are those pictures really of sandwiches and washing machines? Why wasn't Jericho thinking, "Oh snap, they're gonna find out that Slade's my father?" Why did the pancakes mysteriously turn into waffles and back? And why, oh why, am I typing this?

Okay, so I fixed up the part about the pancake-waffle thing. That was my mistake. The therapist person was Nightfire, and for the record I think they were both insane. Jericho was probably thinking just that, hence "I've got to be somewhere, in fact, anywhere but here," those were pictures of bougets of flowers, and I have no idea why either of us just typed that out.

Alright, so I figured it was about time to start writing if I evr want to even dream this story will be over by monday.

Chapter 17:Perfect. Just Perfect.

"Yes...uh huh....okay...when? Alright...Fine...I understand," Robin hung up the phone. He sighed. This was the LAST thing he wanted to happen. He slowly dragged himself to the Opps center, where everyone was.

'I've got news," he said.

"Is it good?" Raven asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well," he said, "It's either good news, or really terrible news, which ever way you look at it."

Cyborg paused the video game he and BB were playing, and gave him full attention to him, much to Robin's dismay.

"Batman has called me and-"

"Batman called YOU? You know Batman?" BB asked, stars appearing in his eyes.

"Yes, and-"

"Really?"

"Yes, and-"

"Seriously?"

"Shut up and let me finish! Alright, Batman has called and has invited us to this ball that he has every year, and I know you'll be really bored and dissapointed, but he said not coming was NOT an option."

"ARE YOU KIDDING?" BB asked, "You thought we'd pass up a chance to meet Batman? THE Batman?"

"I was hoping," Robin muttered under his breath, but no one heard him.

"So, let me get this straight, it's a ball?" Cyborg asked.

"Yes," Robin mumbled.

"You mean like a dance, you know, the one that you take a girl to if you have a crush on her?" he asked, high fiveing BB.

"Unfortunately," he said. Then, it came to him. He hadn't thought of it before. BB and Cyborg would try to get him and Star to dance, and they wouldn't take no for an answer. But they didn't know that Robin was his son, well, adopted son anyway, and they also didn't know about Batman's #1 rule, which basically states: "Whatever you do, DO NOT fall in love with one of your teamates." Oh, this would be fun.

"When is it?" Lily asked. She never heard her parents talking about going to a ball, she was completely unprepared.

"One week from today," He said, "But, he wants you there a day earlier for some reason." He said, looking quizzically at Lily.

"He does, does he?" She asked. Perfect. Just Perfect.

'Oh, Raven!" Starfire said, bouncing up in the air, "We must venture to the mall of shopping immediately!"

"Not right now, Sar, I really don't-" Too late. Starfire had alerady dragged her out of the Opps center.

Cyborg and Beast Boy went to go talk about how exciting it was going to be to meet Batman. And Lily ran to her room.

"A-A-A-CHOO!" Nightstar sneezed. She had returned unsuccessfully and was covered in dust and dirt.

They had been stuck in that closed in cave for nearly eight hours. The only power that Crow had not inherited was of course, that of teleportation. terra had lost her powers over time travel, and unfortunately, Jeff was not a cyborg.

Nightstar was too little to use her alien strength to move all the rocks, so they were stuck. Stranded. Little by little they moved the rocks away, until finally, they had made in opening big enough for all of them to go through. They got two hotel rooms, and took a shower before going out to eat. They went straight to bed, even though it was only 3:00 PM.

5 days later.....

Lily was getting ready to go, when the question came up, how was she supposed to get there?

"Well....it's a risk, but I DO know how to drive a motorcycle..."

"No way!" Robin said, "There is no way I'm lending you the R-cycle!"

Moments Later....

"Thanks for lending me the R-cycle!" Nightfire yelled, zooming down the street.

"No problem," Robin muttered under his breath.

ON THE NIGHT OF THE BALL....

The Titans were all crammed in the T-car. Robin was wearing a tuxedo, the same one from when he took Kitten to the dance, but he was still wearing his mask.

Beast Boy had a green tuxedo on, and Cybrog simply had a top hat with a flower taped to him chest, seeing that no one made tuxedos his size.

Then, came the girls. Raven was wearing a long black sleeveless dress, and Starfire, well, she was wearing a sleeveless bright green dress that matched her eyes. Her hair was pulled back into a bun, and she was wearing long white gloves.

Robin had to keep telling himself not to look at Starfire, for fear that he would never look at any again. Half through the ride though, he began to tense up.

"What's wrong?" Cyborg asked, noticing how tense he was.

"Well, Batman won't be wearing his outfit so he will be going as Bruce Wayne. Here, he is just a rich guy, and no one knows he is Batman, so whatever you do, DO NOT run through the door yelling, 'Oh my god! It's Batman!' Okay?"

"Yeah, sure man," Cyborg said, still looking at the street. "So, Starfire," he said, "Do you know what they do at blls?"

"No, friend Cyborg, I do not." Starfire replied.

"Well," he looked over and saw Robin slowly sink in his seat, "A guy will ask a girl he is in love with to dance with him, and if she accepts, at the very end of the last song, they kiss."

"Oh! I get it now!" She said, looking thoughtfully out the window.

"Am I the only one who will need CPR after this is over?" Robin asked meekly. Cyborg laughed. "Well, in any case, just know that you can't keep secrets from Batman, and, also, we shouldn't be acting like we mean any more to each other then aquantences, got it?" he sked, but no one paid any attention to him. They had arrived.

And even though Batman couldn't see him yet, and Robin couldn't see Batman, he could already feel Batman's death glare overpowering him when he found out aabout Starfire.

Chapter 18:A tour around Town

Terra, Crow, Jeff, and Nightstar all woke up around nine the next morning. Terra offered to show everyone around town. They all agreed.

First, they went to the video game store. Crow and Jeff immediately fell in love with it. Sighing, the two girls had to pull them away.

Next, they went to the pizza place. Once again, they had all spent more time arguing then eating, just as Terra had remembered it. It almost made her sad, knowing she could never stay here for good. She regretted her desicion now more then ever, but forced a smile when she saw Nightstar squirting mustard on her pizza. She looked just like a mini-star. Now, Nightfire being a complete Daddy's girl, would have puked when she saw this. She remembered what Nightfire had told her once.

FLASHBACK

Hey Terra! Do you want to hear a story?

Sure, Nightfire.

Well, when my parents were still alive, dinner was always something that was very awkward. My mom still didn't know how to cook Earth foods, so she always made some sort of goop thing. Me and my father would always drag a plant in between the two of us when we sat down. Daddy told Mom that the plant shouldn't have to sit in the corner, and was part of the family, too. Then, he would pull out his cell phone and call the house. He told my mom is was polite to say 'Hello' twenty times before assuming someone was not on the other line, which bought us enough time to scrape our plates off into the plant. Every so often it would kill the plant, so we always had to buy new ones.

I would immediately go up to my room after that, where I would climb out my window and my father would take me out to eat.

END FLASHBACK

Terra smiled. Had that been Nightstar instead, Robin surely would have starved. Sudenly, she heard a voice behind her.

"O.M.G.! Terra, is that you?" Terra looked behind her to see two school girls gawking in her direction.

"Who are you?" she asked.

"What do you mean? We are B.F.F.'s! Do you realize how much trouble you are going to get into? Ditching school? That's not even like you at all!" They turned to see the three other occupants at the table. "Who are those losers?"

"What are you talking about? Who ARE you? How do you know me?" Terra demanded.

"Wow, she really is amneisic!(Sorry if I spelled that wrong!) Maybe that green kid actually DID know her!"

"Green kid? Amnesia? What?" Terra asked. Suddenly, she saw herself walk over to the two girls.

The two girls looked at the two of them, then turned over to Terra. "Oops! Our bad! We thought you were Terra!" They said, walking away with the girl identical to her. Terra did the first thing she could think of. She ran to the place where her statue had once stood. It was gone.

"But....how?" she thought to herself.

Good-ish. I like Nightfire's usual dinner habits. (or should I say unusual) Terra's old school (not to be confused with old-school) friends makes an interesting sub-plot.

I was at my friend, waves2622's lake house this weekend, and couldn't update. And I have no excuse for the week before that. Anyway....On with the show! Or story...I guess...Nevermind.

Chapter 19:NO! I will NOT admit it!

"Oh my god! Bruce Wayne!"

Robin sighed and pushed his hand through his hair. "At least he didn't yell, 'Oh my god! Batman!" He thought to himself, cursing Beast Noy's stupidity. This truly was going to be a long night.

Bruce had welcomed them into his mansion, and BB just HAD to scream that out. That earned him a death glare that was worse then Raven's. Bruce turned his attention to Starfire, and asked what her name was.

"My name is Starfire, and I am from the planet called, 'Tam-a-ran'" She sounded out for him.

"I don't like you," He said, before turning around and walking away.

Tears formed in Starfire's eyes. "He....he does not like me? Is there something displeasing about the way I look?"

Cyborg looked over at Robin. "Yeah, Rob. Is there something displeasing about the way she looks?"

"Are you TRYING to kill me?" Robin spat back at him.

"There IS something displeasing about the way look! Nobody likes me!" Starfire wailed, running away crying, which, to Robin's displeasure, attracted many eyes and glares pointed his way. He started mumbling things like, "Stupid," "Bruce," "Starfire," "Displeasing," "Cyborg," then finally "Kill."

Cyborg backed away and then noticed the food table. He ran over and had to sample everything they had. Robin looked over at where Beast Boy and Raven had once been standing, to find that they were...not there. He was about to go investigate when he heard muffled cries from one of the spare closets. He was about to open it, when Bruce walked over.

"So...this Starfire girl. Who is she to you?" He asked, causing Robin to jump from surprise.

"What do you mean?" Robin asked, like he didn't know already.

"I mean...well...do you feel any affection for her?"

"Excuse me?"

"Do you...um...well...do you have a crush on her or not?!"

Robin turned an inhuman shade of red. "No!" he said, trying his best not to make it obvious he was lying.

"Yes you do!" Bruce yelled, "You're turning red!"

"That's because it's hot in here! And why would you care?"

"You know relationships with team members is srictly forbidden!"

"I don't have a relationship with her! All we'll ever be is aquantences(I know I spelled that wrong)" Robin said, ironically at the same time Starfire decided to come out of hiding. She started crying and ran off, again.

Bruce smiled in satisfaction, and began to walk away. Robin was about to protest some more, when he heard more muffled cries from th closet.

"Um...Bruce...I think the closet is suffocating," He said, lamely.

Bruce immediately turned around and told him to never touch the closet.

"Why not?" Robin asked, lifting an eyebrow.

"It's full of Rat poisen," Bruce said, before walking away.

Robin was still mad at Bruce, so decided to open the closet. To his surprise, rat poisen didn't fall out. Okay, well he wasn't really surprised that there wasn't any rat poisen.

There, in front of him, was Lily, who had apparently been hog-tied to a broom. She had a blindfold over her eyes, and cloth around her mouth. From what you could see, she had a black eye and a few cuts up and down her arms. He quickly untied her, and helped her up.

"Who did this to you?" He asked, still surprised at what had been in the closet.

"Two words," she said, "The Batman."

Alright. So, since I first wrote this, my writing has improved by at least 110%. What I mean by this is:

A) This story has so many unfinished plots it is insane.

B) I can't even remember half of my story.

C) It is VERY unorganized

D) Basically, this story is a peice of crap, and I admit that.

I'm not finishing this story, but, if you want to know how it ends, I've tried to salvage it a little and wrote a summary of what the ending would be.

Basically, Robin yells at Batman, who yells at Starfire, who cries...um...some more, then Raven yells at Lily, who gets mad at batman, who yells at everyone, and ends up exposing his secret to the whole party, which results in Lily exposing hers, and yadda, yadda, yadda, Lily's friends come, yadda, yadda, yadda, they all live happily ever after.

Wow. That has to be the longest sentence I have EVER wrote. Anyway, happy now?

I think I'll post another (Already finished) story here called Thinking Out Loud. I've already put it up on Fan Fiction.net, and the R/S shrine. Needless to say, it was the complete opposite of this.

I wrote it in July, and it is based off humor. True, the ending sucks, but it doesn't have anything to do with time travel.
