I will be putting up more reviews once I get screencaps of the episodes that aired last week, so don't worry. I have them on tape, so it shouldn't take long.
And I knew the Patriots would win. The Patriots died 100 years ago.

I actually like "Baby Blues" quite a bit. Don't ask me why--I guess it's a nice little change of pace from Williams Street. I couldn't take it in large doses (namely, a whole hour), but it's still better than, say... "King of the Hill." God, I hate that show.
Anyway, "TeddyCam"... This was a so-so episode. I liked the ending, with the fishing ship. And I always get a kick out of Carl--I need a central intelligence hub like that. But otherwise there wasn't anything as stand out as "Wanda Proof" (which I think was funnier than the Simpsons baby-proofing ep, simply because it's about the personal angle instead a poor attempt to satire a new commercial venue). B-/C+, I guess.
Mela (who hasn't been happy with the last couple seasons of Simpsons AT ALL, so I'm biased against it)
PS--Liked the ref, Matt. :)

DYN in Daryl's fantasy sequence Bizzy's picture in a sexy pinup on the prison cell wall? Anyone else find that a bit disturbing that he's subconsciously lusting after the babysitter? It made the scene in the car, where they were talking about the pererfect lover, a little more tense--a man worried about his wife cheating on him, a hot underage girl with a crush on a guy twice her age; it's what they make Lifetime Movies about. Suddenly Bizzy's out of the car and for no reason pounding some girl's face into the pavement! Freaky.
Admittedly in places it felt Simpsons-esque, esp. at the end with the tape over the cliff, using their patented "misdirection" humor (a setup followed by a sharp veer into left field). Carl as a voyeur is...interesting. I suppose he cares about his family, but this is an interesting way of showing it. "Ham...in...lawnmower".
Bizzy's boyfriend looked a lot like Luke Perry (hence the 90210 dig)...but was voiced by David "Angel" Boreanz! "She was just being friendly." "So was Mrs. Robinson."

I thought it was a poster of the Birthday Girl from "World's Greatest Dad."

Here at TZ ..You guys are WAY to overcritical of this show, it's smart touching and just great.. Adult swim needs more shows like this.
That way it can actually be classified as Adult..Most of the shows on here, are made for Teens. To paraphrase matt from a chat last night... This is Teen Swim. The afct that everyone doesn't love Baby Blues is further proof of that.

More shows like Baby Blues?? NOOOOOOOO!!!!
Anyway, the last two episodes of Baby Blues were actually good. They strayed away from the very predictable story (although some of it was predictable like the retrieval of the tape, but what isn't predictable) and showed more of the neighbors like they should. My only big complaint was the use of so many flashbacks. It was like they were trying too hard. Anyway, my final grade for this episode is a B-.

Oh, someone else from the Philadelphia area? On our campus, we wheel this one out to impress the "outside" Angel groupies. Pretty said, really.

Probably never. That's their theme song after all! And when this show was new on WB, I don't think the song had been over exposed so much at that point.
I have to say I liked this episode too. I know Baby Blues doesn't have alot of fans but I hope this show comes back to AS sometime in the future for another run.

I'd have to say that this was so-so. I loved the bits with Carl and his surveillance system and you gotta love misdirection humor. It was fairly surprising to hear David Boreanaz doing an animation v/o; it's always great to hear celebs on various shows. Also, to be fair, Bizzy and the birthday girl kinda look alike.

HOW did I miss that whole thing with Darrel's coworker & the tape?! God, that was funny! That changes my rating to a B+ now.
And for the theme, I'm actually a big BNL fan--they're up tempo but usually pretty bleak. But out of all the songs to pick for the theme, "It's All Been Done" was one of the most annoying; it could only be topped for irritation with "One Week", which was violently overexposed. It's better to cue up "Tonight Is the Night I Fell Asleep at the Wheel" from Maroon and listen to that over the credits. The "I swear I've never seen so much blood" part plays oddly but wonderfully over the opening credits.

Have any of you heard Weird Al's "Jerry Springer"? It's a parody of "One Week" that's hilarious.
It's been one week since I got to see
Gene lovers and cousins who marry
5 days since that awful brawl
they still haven't gotten that blood of the wall....
