I believe what Knight is referring to is "site overload." So many people logging in to complain about no new anime, they 'flooded" the site.

Also while the assumption might work in some places, it's not an acceptable explanation for others that have (like myself) clear weather.

For a second or three I was actually afraid that either someone forgot to pay the bill for the site, the database actually crashed or the site got hacked. I mean lets face it, there's *A LOT* of history on these forums and if the site took a dumb for any of those reasons it might not be recoverable save for a handy backup.

After meandering over to [as]'s forums, I noticed they said they had similar problems due to site flooding and realized that that probably happened here too.

I would suggest that weather could have caused some people not to get on the boards, but for many it was likely another problem.

I'm sure the admins will pass down what happened at some point --- maybe.

So I finally broke down and bought a new game for my 360, Gears of War.

Seriously, very disappointed, since I am not a fan of most of the comedy on AS, but could someone please tell me why it seems PHF seems to have a slightly 'foggy' look to it? And does anyone else see little blurry lines near the bottom of the screen every once in a while? It looks like someone is playing a VCR recording from 10 years ago.

Good thing the next April's fools joke on a saturday nite/sunday morning isn't till 2012. I don't watch during the week, so the next 5 years won't matter what AS does to it's weekday nites, but this is really annoying. Of all the weeks to be stuck home on a saturday nite with nothing to go out and do.

Well, since my mom and sis live 2000 miles away, and enjoy me NOT living in the same house, they buy me 2 gifts a year, one for my birthday, and one for christmas. the 360 was last christmas, the ps3 was this christmas (still waiting for it to be available), and the wii will most likely be next christmas.

I laughed when the bomb was launched at Yumichika. The timing on that was just perfect, as the bomb got closer and closer to the camera. The Pac-man-esque gag was good, too, only helped by the voice acting of the gang.

I have to say, after watching over 26 episodes now, what helps Bleach stand out is its humor. It's not deadly serious constantly- even in serious situations the tone is usually kept pretty light. That may change later (haven't seen later episodes) but right now that's one of the reasons I keep me tuning in.

The ending was interesting, especially seeing Yachiru do those interesting things during the ending.

That said, this episode clearly belonged to Mister Qunicy, Ishida Uryu as his archery skills easily surpasses that of even the legendary Legolas.

A lot of stuff happened in this episode (despite not feeling like it did), but, ironically, despite not doing much, Uryu was the highlight of the episode for me. He was pretty good in the few moments he appeared. The humor in this episode was.... kinda weak. There were moments, like Ichigo's thought bubbles at the beginning, but overall it was eh-ish.

Most likely because more members in their squad were revealed than the other squads. It would only be fair to include them in the ending. In Gin's faction, only 2 member have been shown, hence why only two were in the ending theme.

What is she thinking as her execution approaches? What is she thinking about Ichigo's chances of doing anything? Without giving away too many spoilers, Ikkaku himself SHOULD be the 2nd seat. He is the second strongest in the squad unofficially.

Here's a minor spoiler about Ikkaku himself.

If people outside Squad 11 ever saw his true potential, they might be pushing him to be more then a 3rd seat.


Breaking it down a bit further, the most major reason Yachiru is the sub captain is her long standing loyality to Kenpachi. This is not to say that Ikkaku isn't loyal to Kenpachi mind you. That said, in the same way that Yachiru is loyal to Kenpachi, Yumichika is equally as loyal to Ikkaku.

It might be easier to say that to the best of our knowledge, the politics in Squad 11 are a little more complex but more straight forward then other squads.

I hope that makes sense. I'm trying to be precise without spoilers which isn't easy to do :-|.

This is major spoiler territory: Read only if you're up to current with Subs/Managa or REALLY wanna know my rebuttle

In back story around episode 40ish and in episode 119, it's pretty much laid out that Yachiru isn't all that strong at least when compared to Kenpachi. True, we dont know how strong she is but I am of the impression we either never will or it'll be in one hell of a situation.

Simply put, Kenpachi simply would NOT have any other sub-captain besides her. Where Kenpachi goes, Yachiru goes. Some might say its a visual demonstration of Ying and Yang (might even be what Kudo was going for).

Further, much later in the series, we learn just how strong Ikkaku is. To be blunt, he wasn't about to waste the true depths of his power on someone like Ichigo.

Although we don't know for fact, compared to what we've seen Kenpachi do at his max and Ikkaku, Ikkaku MIGHT (and this is a big might mind you) even be stronger then Kenpachi now. The X Factor is how much Kenpachi improves after fighting Ichigo. He seemed determined to learn how to release his Zanpakdou.

While it wasn't the smartest thing to start yelling, I get the feeling Ichigo just didn't care anymore. He seems like the type to get fustrated easilly, and if there's a fight that comes from it, oh well, he'll fight (and usually win).

Instead of using that little ninja-fairy guy to attack, Orhime should have used her sheilding powers. From what I've seen so far, she seemes better at defense than offense, and should stick to that.

Well I don't know how smart I'd be in his place either... he's a teenager thrown into a situation that he has little previous knowledge of and is expected to fight his way out. Its fine with me that he's mainly relying on strength and determination. Running at things with a big sword seems to be working for him. lol.

Why did the other two squads in the ending only have two members, but the squad in the ending for this episode had a bunch of members?
As was said before, Squad 11's members get more focus than most of the other squads (who are essentially Captain, Assistant Captain, and the nameless grunts), and as was shown in the ending, they're all also easy targets for Yachiru's teasing.

He's coming up soon, though since he doesn't have as many fights as Uryu or especially Ichigo (Ichigo has about 1,000 fights in this saga), but his main early fight is pretty cool (and will show off more of Chad's backstory).

While it wasn't the smartest thing to start yelling, I get the feeling Ichigo just didn't care anymore. He seems like the type to get fustrated easilly, and if there's a fight that comes from it, oh well, he'll fight (and usually win).

You know... I wish I see this happen more in Anime (from stuff I usually watch anyway). I had a big grin on my face when Ishida did that. Really nice way to make him shut up.

That's cool. We also getting some Orihime action as well (not like shipper action though but you know what I mean) cause I wouldn't want her to get so short sided when it comes to fights.

This was a rather cool episode. I really liked how how Ganju did end up taking out Gamikaicha (well since we saw Ganju running and didn't see Gamikicaha that's what I assume anyway), Ichigo beating on the random weakbe Soul Reapers, the start of Uryu's battle and introducing his big fancy bow (I'd whine about Orhihime not being represented as much of a fighter in this ep but I'm hoping that this is just one case and she'll prove more useful later. Besides it's not a problem not having a will to kill. Well for some people anyway and I guess it is problematic in battle but you know what I mean), the introduction of another potentially interesting soul reaping team and Chad punching his way into the episdoe. Guess we'll be seeing where him and the others end up next time in this still pretty exciting saga.

Anyway, Orihime's always a good reason to sit down to watch 'Bleach.' Always.

Watching Ichigo run around yelling Ganju's name when he's being hunted, Yachiru still getting Kenpachi lost (and a 'cute' yeah for her in this week's ending!), and Ganju blowing up pretty boy? The comedy is what keeps you watching 'Bleach.'

Oh, and Orihime needs to sit back defending and protecting and let other people do the offense.
