I don't.

It just doesn't seem like Dexters Lab anymore. They should have just kept it a retired classic instead of making it into the crap it is now.

Maybe it'll get better.

I, too, like them a lot. Yes, they're not the same "Dexter" were used to, but it's still very good. Different, yes. Bad, no.

They're ok. I've seen a few, and it will probably take me a while to get used to them. I'll always love the very first ones the best though. OLD MAN DEXTER, WOOHOO! :D

I have to admit, when I first saw that commercial with him and Velma, I cringed at the sound of his voice. >_< it's a little too different for me....is it still the same voice actress? I forget her name...the one that voices Chuckie from the Rugrats.

Supposedbly, it is. However, the voice does sound radically different.

I like the new episodes a bit more than the originals. I have a couple of favorite new Dexter episodes, but I like some of the originals as well. Maybe if the there are more newer ones, I'll start to like them more.

There are two Dexter voices.

One is the original, Christine. The other is Candi, an impersonator that On-Air and CN have used for CCF and advertisements for a very long time. She has the voice down to a science, but unfortunately it's still higher pitched than Christine's, so it's very glaring.

Christine and Candi share double duty in season 3, because it took a year to produce. In fact, some of the episodes produced were most likely written by Michael Ryan when he was still there. For instance, "A Boy Named Sue/Lab on the Run" doesn't adhere to the originally promised 8-min/4-min/8-min format. It might be either an episode carried over from season 2 or an episode created before most of the team left.

The episodes that Christine voices are the better ones, of course. Christine voiced in "Mind over Chatter/A Quakor Cartoon/Momdark" and "Copping an Aptitude/A Failed Experiment/The Grand-Daddy of All Inventions", whereas Candi voiced "Streaky Clean/A Dad Cartoon/Sole Brother" and "Poppa Wheelie/A Mom Cartoon/Mockside of the Moon". Christine's episodes are worlds better than Candi's.

And now you know the rest of the backstory. Good day!

They're okay ....
The new ones have great storylines to them, although there's a little bit of the flow that seems off to me once in a while. As nice as the backgrounds are, they're a bit plain and just take too much away from the show. So yeah, the new ones are good, but I know that there could be things in that made them better.

The only thing I don't like about the new Dexter is his Dad's new look.

Yeah, it's a bit too much. I love "A Dad Cartoon" though.

Isn't that ep titled "Dad is deranged" or something, or am I thinking of the one where he's trying to watch the golf game on TV. Either way those are both great eps that still crack me up.

Yeah, "Dad Is Disturbed" is when he wants to watch his golf game. That's a great episode.

"The Muffin King" is classic! One of the best Dexter episodes. The one I'm talking about was one of the newer episodes, it was quick cartoon in between two longer ones.
