Interesting notes:
- After ending Eureka Seven will be replaced by Second Gig episodes for anyone who wanted to seem them air again.
- Bleach and Blood+ stay the course for new eps until....
- Some sort of Futurama marathon interrupts them the first week of June. Between that and the April Futurama marathon AS must be trying to air as much of the show as possible. Guess cause it's leaving by 08 and they're squeezing as much out of it as possible. Thus the double eps on Sunday.
- Family guy continues with new to AS premieres (well that's an obvious doy but still worth noting in some form).
- Tim and Eric end at at 10 episode run as Saul of the Molemen continues to air new eps throughout May into June.
- Moral Orel finishes out it's second season (hopefully) in late April continuing into June.
- May 13 seems to be pilot day as some of the pilots AS has (Including Superjail and Sip) get to air. Guess we'll hear what they're about in the upcoming months.
- Aqua Teen, Robot Chicken and three weeks of Saul will rotate the 12AM slots, being the most popular 11 minute originals (well not Saul which is probably just a random decision and a way to reair all the show's eps).
- Shin Chan is actually starting from episode 1 April 9th, staring new episodes the 18th for a week and a half, then rotating those eps, then another week and a half of new eps, then rotating those eps and starting from the beginning. That guarantees at least 14 new eps, hopefully more after the restart of the series in June.
- For you late bloomers Volotrn is airing sporadic new episodes spread out at the 5:30AM slot.
Pretty decent schedule. Would of liked to have seen more from may from ASC but oh well.

I see there is still no sign of New Robot Chicken episodes. I was hoping Season 3 would start next month, but I guess not. The ATHF movie is airing on AS so soon?

Wow, Orel Season 3 already.
Glad to see Bebop back, mad to see Sleep Alone Complex back.
Futurama is really getting overrun by AS, in anticipation of losing it.

ATHF:FFT is airing BEFORE it does in theaters (04.13.07)....
It has to be an April Fools joke.

Yeah I was thinking "Waite a minute, the movie isn't even in theatres yet?". Sounds like an April Fools joke to me now that I think about it.

Question is what they actually air there. Knowing AS...a marathon of Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job!
*sigh*
Well, maybe we'll get lucky and it'll be a good show instead.

Saturday
I'll be surprised if the Oblongs/Boondocks combo lasts as long as they plan it to.
Bebop is coming back earlier than I thought. I had it pegged for late 2007, but I'm not complaining.
Already knew about 2nd Gig, but a Futurama marathon on the first week of June? Could that be the beginning of the Futurama/Shin-Chan Saturday combo I've predicted?
Sunday
Nice April Fools
Futurama marathon, and then double Futurama? [as] is sure making use of these final months with the show...
Pilot week looks pretty cool.
Weekdays
FG/RC/ATHF winning combo in the future.
Spacing out Shin-Chan premieres, not a bad idea I guess.
They're going to repeat IY after it airs all its episodes? Ugh. I know it's pulling in great ratings for the hour, but I really hoped they'd use that hour to air repeats of their new anime. I feel sorry for whoever missed TB and E7 episodes...
ATHF movie.. total April Fool's Joke.
Always glad to see Bebop again. I figured we'd see Eva.

I was going to make a thread for this, but I didn't notice this one so it was closed. Anyway, the pilot day, new Shin Chan, and new Moral Orels sound exciting and so are the 2 Futurama marathons.

I'll watch. Considering my On Demand skipped all the violent ones, I have to find someway to watch the whole season.
April Fools joke is so going to involve a marathon of Tim and Eric. I can smell it.

They should actually show the ATHF movie on April Fools Day. That would really **** with people. I mean, we all expect that to be an April Fools joke so it would be even more of a joke on us to actually air it.

I'm not looking forward to those Futurama marathons. I guess Adult Swim wants to make sure they run it into the ground now so Comedy Central can't make any money off of it.

Two thoughts - first, the Futurama marathons. I have to wonder if AS loses Futurama in July 2007, not 2008. That could explain the sudden marathoning.
Second, Saturday March 31 and April 7th schedule is exactly the same. Seeing most of the shows will actually air April 1 on the March 31st schedule, does anyone else think we're about to have another round of mustash/bathroom humor here?.

Well, this is post #1. If they did those fart jokes again, I wouldn't be happy. Last year I believe they only had one show premiering (a GITS 2nd GIG), but this year they would have 3 premiers. They really have no reason for those jokes, seeing that April 1st is on Sunday this year. Then again, AS seems to be losing faith in anime these days, so it wouldn't be too surprising if they did.

The ATHF movie on television so soon on April 1? Two all-night Futurama marathons? The Venture Bros. Christmas special in May? FIVE PILOTS IN ONE NIGHT?!?
I agree that it sounds kinda...April Fool-ish.

What if the whole production of ATHF: MFFT coming to theatres was all a big fat orchestrated fake out? What if Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theatres ends up shown only on TV??
Also, the fart shows were hysterical! Here's hoping they do it again this year. But even if they do that, or something else, all the shows are repeating the following week for reals, so no worries! (FYI: April 1st does technically begin next Saturday night at Midnight - a fact Adult Swim has taken advantage of in the past.)

I would be very happy, and Adult Swim would save themselves from a box-office-bomb.:p

I never noticed it the first time I looked through it, but now that I noticed the change, my thoughts went flowing through my brain.

Anyone remember the moustaches?
Here's what could happen:
-They prank us. Moustaches, farts, Boo-Boo Runs Wild, Big O's "Stripes" episode. You name it. Unless you haven't seen Ep.21 of Champloo, no worries. They'll air it for reals next week. (intentional misspell)
-The new eps air as is with no modding during the day of pranks. The new 2nd Gig episode aired with farts at 11:30- a full hour before it was scheduled to premiere- but the 12:30 airing was 100% clean of pranking. They know of the otaku hate. But, just in case, next week is repeated. Unless you never seen Champloo ep. 21, then you pray it can be aired as is.
-That re-air of the Mar31/Apr1 premieres could be a typo. You never know.
Combine scenarios from there.
As for the airing of ATHFCMFFT on Apr. 1, I put money on a Saved By The Bell mini-marathon.

It's not Season 3, it's the rest of Season 2 (since Season 2 was played out of order).

I'd love to see them do an anime prank along the lines of "You wanted subtitled anime on Adult Swim, so we're granting your wish." And then run the episodes in Japanese, subtititled with their own "creative" dialog. (^_*)

Or they could totally actually AIR the ATHF movie, but manipulate it so it's hard or impossible to get anything out of it. Perhaps replace the audio track with something else - or blur the screen or something...

It would also be funny if the dialog was so dirty that the rating would get changed to TV-MA in an otherwise tame anime like Bleach.
I hope that its just an error in the schedule.
Actually, since that's technically April 1st, maybe AS is going to manipulate the video again and use that as an April Fools joke.

what'd make that anime subtitles trick REALLY funny, and make it something i might watch, is if they made ALL the subtitles jokes about how crappy anime is.
As for the aquateen movie...TV Guide listed futurama(at ten), family guy, robot chicken, THEN an episode of aqua teen.NOT the movie, however.
Can't really go wrong with TV Guide.

Adult Swim already makes fun of anime most of the year. April Fools is about new content.
Still, it might be the only way people would watch Eureka 7.

You can when networks change the schedules every 3 days or so.

You can when networks change the schedules every 3 days or so.Not to mention both Cartoon Network and Adult Swim have been known to change schedules on less than 48 hour notice (24 with CN and Toonami). So I wouldn't take any of the online guides listings a proof of anything when it comes to this upcoming weekend :anime:.

So it looks like we won't have a new anime to replace Eureka Seven when it ends. Oh well I'm sure we will by at least the summer.
Horray for Shin Chan coming back. But boo for it not being on Saturday! Also double boo for the hour of Inuyasha. Come on let's see Trinity Blood and Eureka Seven durring those time slots.
Saturday schedule looks fine to me. I like Bleach, Blood +, Ghost in the Shell 2nd GIG, and what the hey I'll watch Bebop again. The hour of comedy sucks though and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytime soon.
Sunday looks awful. Double Futurama are they serious? Look I like the show and all and can't wait for the direct to dvd movies/new episodes on Comedy Central. But come on we already have double futurama episodes on the weekdays we don't need them on Sunday. Also what's the deal with 2 all night Futurama marathons on Saturday and Sunday?

I will miss Champloo but at least its "big brother" Bebop is back. That said, nice to see Second Gig make a return.
Weekdays wise, I guess it will be Inuyasha until the cows come home.
Also double boo for the hour of Inuyasha. Come on let's see Trinity Blood and Eureka Seven durring those time slots.
By the time May ends, we'll be 3/4 of the way through InuYasha, which means that the hour-long MuttBoy won't be here much longer. More than likely, once 167 airs (or the Monday after, depending on what day it ends), InuYasha will be replaced with two different series (Probably Trinity Blood and Eureka Seven). Shin-chan will most likely be in repeats by that point, so it'll probably get rotated out (maybe a few weeks sooner) for Bleach.

Duke,
Your prediction of Inuyasha on AS being no more is I believe overwhelmed by the still loyal (if small) Inuyasha fan girl base. Yes they still exist.
Then again I could be mistaken.

I didn't say it'd be gone forever. Inuyasha has been rotated out of the lineup before and it'll probably do so again after this run. After its weekday run is over it'll probably move over to Saturdays/off the lineup for a few months, then come back to weekdays in the Fall.

My mistake. I was under the assumption that much like many of AS' anime of late, it would be "gone" forever.

Not one this popular. A show like s-CRY-ed, yeah, that getting shoved off forever wasn't surprising. But Inuyasha has a rabid fanbase. And I am part of it as much as I hate to say it. Although I wouldn't mind it being taken off for quite a while.

Myst,
I completely understand your premise about "loving it and hating at the same time." This show has potential but it feels so much that writing is uneven at times and can't decide between some shoneon tropes or just regular boy/girl romance.

What did we learn today?
If you had "Perfect Hair Forever marathon," "Fan Service Tribute," "Bad Fansub," "Aqua Teen movie airs, but is somehow altered so that you can't view the true movie until 4/13," "Mas promotion of ATHFCMFFT and all products associating with ATHFCMFFT," "Plugs for other, non-[as] programs," and/or "Regular non-movie schedule airs, but enjoyment of said show is altered by Williams Street shennanigans," Congradulations!:anime:
I, however, failed. I was hoping for Saved By The Bell. :(
Well, at least the 4/7/07 schedule isn't a typo.
