I would have prefered Midnight and it's a shame E7 and Trinity Blood can't even get weekday slots yet (well E7 will have just ended in April but TB will have been on hiatus for a while before it gets on weekdays at this rate).

Good to hear the return of Shin Chan (and yeah 12:30 is kind of the best you can hope for. Even though it is technically a comedy, all anime now start at 12:30 on weekdays and I don't really see that changing at least for awhile). I do hope Inuyasha airs double (since after 100 I kind of only been watching a bit on and off) until it finishes it's run though and then have ES and TB reair. That won't be too long a wait IMHO.

If they put ATHF at 11PM (or 10:30PM) and cut Futurama down to one airing a night then Shin Chan could have had midnight. Oh well... It's pretty clear AS wont be giving anime back Midnight until they get 10PM on weekdays and chance are even if they get 10PM on weekdays they'll keep anime post 12:30AM. *shakes fist* I hope IFC smites you some day Adult Swim.

It was definitely the funniest anime comedy I watched last year. why may? that sucks dude:( I'm going to take a wild guess and say he's at college and doesn't have cable there. At least that's how it was for me in the first two years of college. I had to watch TV in the public lounge, and those were often taken- we didn't have cable in our rooms. Close but, we do have cable in our rooms. It's just that this semester, the cable company moved some channels around and CN is in a spot where a German channel is airing(it's one of the school's channels). That and the school doesn't seem to want to move the channel to another spot. So, yeah it sucks.:(

I think the show is better on weekdays. Saturdays has never been a good night for airing new shows, especially new anime shows. At least with weekdays, it'll have a good lead-in and have new episodes everyday. I'm sure as the show has many episodes in the can, it'll rerun on Saturdays.

I always did like shin chan. It proves you do not need good animation to make a good cartoon but south park proved that.

There is a lot of great anime out there but [as] is attempting to find the "lowest common denomenator" when it comes to fans, instead of putting on a little of every thing for everyone which is what got us there to begin with.

"Turnerisation" and maximizing of profit is all they see.

I have been flipping over to Zim on Nick toons at night for the new ones they even have Rockos modern life and Ren and Stimpy.

Another Favorite is Hyper Force Go ! :)

On Demand last month had Solty Rei - a fully cyborg girl, very cool and well done.

Desert Punk Very funny and a lot of action.

I just started watching this show last week. Wow, it's really funny! :D I never would have watched it from the look of it (the adverts do nothing to promote it, in my opinion). But I caught one episode then was hooked.

I thought the "pink [bleep]" was funnier than saying it out loud. I mean, it was obvious what she said anyways so bleeping it made the censors look stupid for "not" getting the double-meaning.

Anyways, I hope Adult Swim re-runs the first group of episodes because I missed out. :(
