B & W Popeye on ACME HOUR

Taped last night's ACME HOUR and they showed the B & W version of "The Twisker Pitcher". Do I see a light at the end of the tunnel? Could they possibly be listening to the public? MIght they be getting rid of those redrawn Popeyes? Only time will tell...

Maybe they are coming to their senses. I know that I would rather see them in color in a perfect world, but Max Fleischer probably thought Popeye and Betty Boop looked great in B&W anyway.

I think "The Twisker Pitcher" features a really bad mistake...

I think it's the one where a cel wasn't placed in a frame or two, so everyone vaporizes for a moment...

Now if only CN would show ALL the Fleischer Popeye's in their original glory...

How many B&W popeyes have aired on Acme Hour in B&W since the Turner/Time Warner merger a few years back?
