Not sure how it is for the rest of you, but... Right now it's snowing pretty significantly in the Harrisburg PA area. Even though it was OVER 70 DEGREES just two days ago. Yesterday started out around 60, but some time between 10 AM and noon, it suddenly got really chilly. There is a lot of traveling going on this weekend (including a wedding), so I'm ticked off.
That's it, I guess.

Pretty much, it's the same over here in NY aswell. There are snow flurries, but it ain't sticking to the ground. I think our school just wasted a snow day, but hey I'm not complaining!;) It means the weekend has come early for me, and I've got both Toonami's Birthday and my Birthday to look forward to this weekend.:D

As the barometric pressure drops indicating an approaching cold front. The colder more dense airmass pushes the wet warm air aloft, condensing the water vapor as the temperature dewpoint is reached. In this case, below freezing all the way to the ground allowing snow.
Here we're getting sleet. Which means the show passed through a warm layer, melted then refroze as it passed through freezing air closer to the ground.

Except that we never get heat waves in March. This is a rare occurance. The last time it happened, we broke 125 degrees in August. That was 12 years ago.

Pouring very cold rain around here. We're actually going to end with a few snow showers tonight. Could be worse. 14 years ago about this time we had a massive ice storm.

Sorry to hear Illapa dislikes ya, Lemming. Wait, that's rain. Are there any snow gods? =\
We're having average March-in-Wisconsin weather, here. Of course, March is always silly for us. It's pretty normal right now, though, about 30 degrees, and even a little sunny.

This is the month that goes in like a lion and comes out like a lamb anyway. I'm in New York and the weather was just great yesterday. Not it got chilly and snowed, and it's just ridiculous. Even worse, I got a message on my cell phone from my mother telling me she might need me to drive her to the airport. I hope I still don't have to do it. I had a hell of a time parking my car when I got home from work. Too bad I can't really afford a parking space at my apartment complex.

Been snowing all day here in southern Massachusetts, but only around 2:00 in the afternoon did it start sticking to the pavement. I was hoping I'd have an easy commute to and from work tonight...
This is a hell of a capper to my Spring Break, I tell ya.

We were having 80 degrees earlier this week here in GA. It was in the upper 40s, lower 50s today with rain. It's supposed to be cooler for the weekend and start getting back into the 70s next week.
Ah, I don't miss Montana one bit. Snow is ftl.

The whole day today at NYC its been freezing rain. Nothing but frozen little tiny drops have been pelting the streets for the entire day. We have so much of it that the streets look like its been actually snowing. Its freaky. I went outside without my umbrella and was regretting it, it hurts when it hits your face. Everything is frozen with a thick sheet of ice. But then I remember that we had a snow storm in April of last year.

On Wednesday, everybody was in tshirts and coat free (70s). Yesterday it snowed, middle 30s. And just when I was getting used to warm weather!

It's been sleeting here like crazy, and it isn't (or is, depending on the person) fun to drive in this stuff. I'd say there's almost a foot here in New York but it might just be the snow drifts, but I like it. Our last gasp of Winter for a while.

I'd gladly trade snow for the nonsense we deal with here. It was 97 today and they're forecasting 99 for tomorrow. It is still winter isn't it?

See, I thought of Ullr, but I couldn't remember if he was snowy or not. Thanks for the factness. =D
 umm Actually I stuck him in because he was Norse and kept coming up in "Snow god" search and I liked the name... If I looked him up by name they don't really mention snow....
I didn't think anyone would even really notice specific names [/lol]

That is so unfair that you guys back east get SO MUCH SNOW! Last month we had a blizzard with 60 mph winds, 70 mph windgusts, heavy snow, and 0 visibility. But you know what? They still freakin' made us go to school! But luckily I was home with the flu that day.:D If that happens again, and they still make us go to school, that's a sign that the school district superviser over here is on drugs. I mean, seriously, I could NOT see my neighbor's house, which is only 30 feet across the street from my house!!!

This is in fact that we set a record High today according to the NOAA Weather service here at Tucson:
At 1035 am this morning, Tucson topped its previous high temperature record of 88 degrees, and as of 210 pm, Tucson had reached 94 degrees.
So there you go, we set 1 record high today.. and you guys worry about snow? Try taking on 94 degree heat.. and Spring doesn't occur till Tuesday.
