That is super awesome, but...Las Vegas? Er....you mean to hold the ceremony somewhere classier than what I'm thinking of, right?

Vegas is quite a wedding destination these days. You don't want to know what some of the places there charge for a ceremony. Man, I'd love that whale cake from Carvel right now.

I figured it was only a matter of time before you guys finally took the plunge. I wish upon the both of you, nothing but the upmost of bliss and happiness in your new lives as man and wife, woman and husband, et cetara.
With that said, I'd love to know how Brian's bachelor party, the one that commemorates Mr. Cruz's last night on Earth as a free man, is gonna play out. ;)
Anywho, as you were.

Thanks all for your well wishes! They mean a lot, especially since I'm hardly around here anymore.
And thanks also to the folks generous enough to pick gifts from our registry. Believe it or not, we really needed that can opener! And JLU Season 1 will definitely be perfect honeymoon viewing. But...
Won't somebody please get us the spatulas? We've been spatula-less for so long, and we spent countless hours picking out those multi-colored silicone ones. As the Amazon description says: "Don’t let the soft looks of these pretty pastel spatulas fool you. These sturdy kitchen tools are made of food-grade silicone heads with polypropylene handles. They’re heat-resistant to 650 degrees F, and are stain-proof and dishwasher-safe. Each spatula measures 10 inches long, and is covered by a lifetime warranty."
Did you catch that? These spatulas will last a lifetime! They can withstand intense heat! They're impervious to stains! And best of all, they're food-grade! Try finding that at your local Spatula City. These would be the only spatulas we'd use for the rest of our lives. Someday, 50 years from now, Harley will be baking a cake for our great-grandchildren, and she'll grab one of the spatulas and say, "A dear friend of ours from Toon Zone gave us this spatula as a wedding gift, and they work just as well as they did 50 years ago". Picture that scene in your head. Don't you want to be that dear friend? Give the gift of spatulas today.

I think we need to make a poll. What will their wedding theme be?
(My vote goes for the pirates)
Nah, the theme should be Ninjas.
After all, Harley is one.

Of course, Brian's taller than Eileen in Real Life (well, let's be honest, most people are). He was the one in glasses... oh and there's his goatee...

Brian and Eileen: What are your favorite cartoon characters? Not to speak for them, but I seem to recall Brian once saying that his favorite LT short was "The Rabbit of Seville."
And here's a blast from the past from Eileen/Harley where she lists her favorite cartoons:
http://wbc.toonzone.net/cml/bioharley.html
I just realized today that this coming August marks 10 years since I first met Brian and Eileen/Harley via "The Warner Bros Club" (what would later grow into Toon Zone). They're the nicest peoples, and I'm both proud and honored to call them my friends.
And I'm so happy for you both that you've finally gotten "hitched". I'm a bit belated to offer my congratulations, but I've had a lot of life stuff that's prevented me from being online for the last couple months. But really--I honestly couldn't be happier for you. My wife and I celebrate 2 years together in June, and I say with complete honesty that marrying Joy was the best thing I've ever done in my life. It sounds cliché, but she really does complete me. My life sucked before her, and I count every day a blessing to be married to my best friend. You guys dated for well over a decade so I think you might know what I mean by that. I pray your friendship and love continue to deepen and enrich your lives with every passing day.
Please let us know how your Vegas trip was. I'll be there in September (work-related, believe it or not) and would like some recommendations on some things I should see while I'm there if I have time, but especially would like info on an inexpensive but quality buffet or other eating establishment that I should check out...provided it's not too pricey.
And I just sent you a gift too. Sorry, it's not a spatula. But you'll definitely use them more frequently than you would a spatula. There are sadly just some things a spatula can't do.
Brian--could you PM me a list of your "wanted" animated DVDs? I'm downsizing my collection and have a few that were on your gift registry, but there are some I've been looking for pre-owned with no luck and I thought maybe with your gigantimous DVD collection you might have some you might possibly want to get rid of as well? Perhaps we could work out a trade?

I'd like to publicly embarrass Romey by thanking him from the bottom of our hearts for the sculpture he was able to get done for us for our wedding. It was really quite awesome. You'll see it frequently in the wedding photos. It was based on a sketch I did for Brian one Valentine's day. It featured chibi versions of Brian and I. The caption said, "Chibi Brian and Eileen frighten me too. Hold me." It'll make sense when you see them. Maybe.
So, everyone, know that on top of being an amazing friend, Romey is about 10X more talented than he ever lets on.
