Anyone ever experience something like this? Or have any creepy internet stories?

Like if someone's feeling down and posted it on a blog and another person shows concern or try to comfort them it feels so much creepy stalker guy.:robin: If you're there in real life and do the same thing then you're like just being friendly. :raven2:

I think I'm going to frame this post over my computer.

I never thought of it as creepy, but maybe I am.

I like reading peoples feelings. Often when I see someone saying things like "I feel lonely, scared, depressed", I will tend to post back that I understand. Though I don't always get to have my life any better, I like to cheer them up. If only to have one respond. I know I sO like people trying to understand, even if they can't help.

You want creepy? Wait till they ask "What are you wearing?" [/lol]

Anyone tells me over the internet that they "feel my pain", I immediately think psycho.:raven:

I am confident that I am *just* as creepy as I am IRL as when I'm online.

If you're anonymous but try to comfort one's feelings through a good talk, then it's not really creepy. Flirting on the other hand, may be.

Creepy?

...Well there's this one particular pop-up advertisement that freaks me out. I haven't seen it in a while on the sites I usually visit, but... *shivers*

*EDIT*

That was a little off topic. Sorry.

Anyways, I find match making sites a little distrubing. (I used to feel the same way on live journal and myspace, but eventually, I got around it and jumped on the bandwagon.)

Usually, in my experience, if someone were to console me or something like that it would come across as mostly flat and insincere...thanks to the fact that the person and I are physically separated across a great distance and I can't gauge his/her facial expression or the sound of his/her voice. If it's someone I know well in real life, then it's easier for me to believe that they truly mean what they say, but if I've never met them face to face it's impossible to take them at their word over a matter such as this. To more directly answer your question, no I've never felt someone was stalking me over the Internet or ever behaving in such a manner as to creep me out.

Oh, and I'm the reincarnation of Clock King. That is undeniable fact.

Believe me, I'm creepier IRL. Real life, I don't say much to anyone. Online, I talk away. Also online, you don't see how I actually behave. I'm a nice guy, but I have these quirks which has gotten me labelled as a freak on more than one occasion.

Concur'd.

I may be a little more outgoing online, but that's about it. Is that creepy?

I say what I think online, and that makes me outgoing...but it comes out creepy.

Yikes, there's a scary thought.:p

I think I'm actually a little creepier in real life, actually. Something about my voice, I think.

Yikes, there's a scary thought.:p Oh, you just shush, mister.

Something about my voice, I think. That reminds me, I have yet to imagine a TZer's voice sounding the way it actually does. Urf.

To make this more of an on-topic post, I'll say that I probably won't talk to someone online, if they strike me as too creepy. I have standards, dammit.

I like myself online better than I do in real life. I don't act like a complete idiot online, and I get along with people better. It doesn't really make sense to me.

Yes, well it's better than being shy, which I am.

Yeah, Online I am alot more open than in real life. I say whats on my mind more, though some times that's not a good thing. Unless I'm with my friends who help me to be a little more out going, I usually keep my mouth shut until I get to know the people around me. And even then, I'm still a little shy.

Same here, Zach. I have Aspergers, so being shy and anti-social comes naturally for me. I talk a lot more, and I'm a lot more open online.
