I would definately watch that if my area was lucky enough to receive Boomerang. That is one of my favourite cartoons of all time.

I heard that they're now showing the 3 final episodes of Swat Kats that never aired when they first came out. Does anyone know if this is true?
Swat Kats was awesome. It's a shame they came along to late to catch on. By 1993, anything 80s wasn't cool anymore.

I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. The voices have been recorded but no animation is known to exist. If they want to make more footage, they'll have to replace the VO for Commander Feral because he's dead.

Gary Owens isn't dead, as a matter of fact I think the only major VA that's dead is the voice of Dark Kat, Brock Peters. Also last night they shown the "Special Report"(Clipshow) episode of the series.

So badly. I'm a big fan, so yes I did watch it in the day. Really interesting style of animation; to quite as cut-out as some of HB's other work. Much more dynamic and comic-book like. I heard a rumor about a new SWAT KATS series in 2007 from Wikipedia. Obviously, it isn't true, but I wonder where such a rumor would start?

Because I heard it on Wikipedia ;). Seriously, though, how many people even know what SK was? I can't see it being that popular, certainly not enough so to merit a new series. I'd love just to see the original classic episodes on DVD, the chances of which are probably low.

He's not the only one:
Ed Gilbert (Various Enforcers, Tiger Conklin)
Roddy McDowall (Lenny Ringtail/Madkat)
Keene Curtis (the Pastmaster)

What i liked most about 'Swat Katz' was the Queen like musical score. As well as the gritty anime like character designs.

I barely remembered this show but I started watching it once it started airing on Boomerang. It's actually pretty intense for an HB cartoon. I was somewhat surprised by the level of violence on the show. Guns that actually shoot bullets was a nice surprise.
Slightly OT: I know everyone hates spam but since a few people have commented that they don't get Boomerang, I feel it's my duty to speak up.:D I work part-time as a sales rep for Dish Network. Dish is offering Boomerang as part of their family package for only $19.99. PM me and I'll even set you up with free equipment and installation.

Thanks, but I personally already have DirecTV, which offers Boomerang, and since I pay extra for the digital tier upgrade, I get it.
Back OT: Earlier someone mentioned SK's music. IMHO, season 1's music was good, but season 2's was better, especially the 2nd season theme music.

Love the show! it's one of my favorites, totally one of the best 90's cartoons ever and Callie Briggs is such a babe, i even had a crush on her when i was 11.
