Had forgotten all about this apish "cartoon" - with the Sam Fox/John Seely cues (mostly from Gumby) and GUMBY type sound FX and Edward Everett Horton from Jay Ward's "FRACTURED FAIRY TALES"!
It is public domain and is on various websites. About ten schoolchildren who are riding (to Horton's as always wry narranation!) to a picnic with apemasks, AND ape suits and tails and get wrecked, 'cept for one, by virtue of their own stupidity, fropm getting to the picnic!
I men tion it due to Horton's voice and the familiar Gumby stock music (the seclected cues, few of which were used in HB from that library*) and sound FX (like Pokey's eyes bulging!) Not really off topic,. it's a good (Terchnicolor?) cartoonish live flick. 15 mins.Anyone recall that one?:)
I finally saw it again..on archive.org.
*The opening and the tunnell scenes used Huckleberry cues.
