(Meanwhile, Monica listens to music on her headphones while slightly reclined back in the aisle seat. She moves her head to rap song as a stewardess stops next to her and taps her on her left shoulder)
Stewardess: (extends a can of SPRITE soda to Monica) soft drink?
Monica: (removes headphones) My favorite, why thank you! (takes the soda, pops it open and puts a straw in to take a sip) Ah… (She puts back on the headphones and takes another sip)
Proteus, 11:29 a.m.
(Michael is finishing the story of his sister’s origin and the events that surround it.)
Michael: So, in the end, this all happened not out of bitterness, but my father had to leave, for the sake of us all…
Yetsumi: (sitting backward in a seat, legs out on each side) So, in the end, the was all a noble act, right? (Michael nods) You two are finally going to meet, why the bummed look?
Michael: That word: finally. Monica and I spent some of the most important years of our lives apart. I just don’t know how she’s gonna receive me…
Mahami: Michael, don’t feel so down, believe me, it won’t feel that way.
Yetsumi: She’s right, you know?
Michael: How can you guys be so certain?
Mahami: Just because she’s your sis’ doesn’t exclude her Binarian heritage. We all posses the natural harmony.

Yetsumi: Don’t you remember how quickly we fell in to be the pals we are now? It comes naturally. The only way it can happen again is for you to ease your mind, that’s all you can do…
Michael: You know, y’all both are right! (walks over to Mahami and kisses her on the forehead, then walks over to Yestumi and kisses her on the lips) You two are the best, that why I’m so glad we are a team. (Yetsumi gently holds his right hand as they gaze at each other and smile. Stratus enters the area…)
Stratus: Children, the aircraft’s approaching New Jersey as we speak.
Michael: Come on, girls! (the trio exits the area) I have an idea!
Stratus: [He’s becoming a great leader.]
(The trio has now entered the bottom-most level of Proteus. Yetsumi kneels down and opens a hatch door located on the ground. Once open, the atmosphere of earth can be seen. Mahami kneels down beside her.)
Mahami: I’ve always dreamed of seeing this…
Michael: (walks over to the hole and crosses his arms) Well, dream no more!! (he does a backwards free fall into the atmosphere; yelling with excitement)
Yetsumi: Hey, wait for us!!!! (she and Mahami swan dive out the hole to catch up to Michael. Michael switches fall to chest first)
Michael: BINARIAN FLAME!!!!!! (transforms into Inferno; body glows in red aura)
Yetsumi: Good idea! (she and Mahami transforms. They break through the earth’s atmosphere in a matter of seconds, falling into the sun filled sky of New Jersey. Inferno locks his vision onto the airport miles away to their right)
Inferno: (shouting) This way!! (They all change their flight patterns and head to the airport at supersonic speed)
(Meanwhile, on the airplane. Monica continues to listen to music on the headphones with her eyes closed. She doesn’t notice that everyone around her is sound asleep. Monica smells something strange in the air and opens her eyes. Up in the front cabin, even the pilots have fallen asleep. The captain slumps over the wheel and deactivates the auto-pilot, the plane begins to go down slowly. Monica releases her seat belt and makes a bee line to the front)
Monica: [I’m not the smartest person on earth, but I know that has to be gas. Everyone’s out like a light as the planes goes down? My Binarian powers must have saved me…]
(Monica walks pass a small, Asian girl sitting alone; sleeping) Hey, something wrong with this picture, she’s alone. (Airplane rumbles) I’ll come back for her. (Makes her way to the pilot door. Directly above her, we see Monica thought the eyes of something robotic. Monica opens the door to see both pilots unconscious) OH BOY!! (She moves the men out the way and attempts to take control, but she doesn’t know how) Uh, uh (stammering) Oh, man! I don’t know, I don’t know… (She reaches for the radio, but it’s shorted out. Monica slams it down as a look of determination crosses her face) I HAVE TO SAVE EVERYONE!!! ( eyes glow fiery yellow…back at he airport, the BINARIAN3 await Monica’s flight. They are suddenly hit with the sense of Monica’s awakening powers. They teleport out to the runway area to see a plane descending rapidly in the far distance)
Michael: It’s Monica!!!! (they transforms in unison and take off, flying towards the airplane)
Ninjetsa: Look!!! (points the airplane, which is glowing in a yellow aura) That must be Monica’s aura! We’ll hold the plane up, you’ll go in and make sure everyone’s safe.
Inferno: Okay! (teleports into the airplane’s bathroom) what the hell? (kicks the door open and begins to walk through the seating area) This is pretty strange… (he notices that everyone is asleep) {sniff, sniff} Gas. (Inferno looks up and ahead in the lane to see through the stealth camouflage of four ninjas attached the ceiling of the aircraft, he takes a few more steps until he’s directly under them) [ I sense no human presence in them at all!] (Inferno waves out his arms) HAHHHHHHH! ( the four ninja disperse from their camouflage as the hit the side walls with high velocity. The ninja regroup and begin to attack Inferno from all angles. Inferno circles rapidly blocking and dodging all attacks)
Monica: (turns her head from the controls) I hear fighting!
Inferno: (dodging) [Obviously, they’re not human, strong as BLACKTHORNES* . But, Goldwyn’s dead. Who can this be?] The four kick at Inferno simultaneously, Inferno ducks down as his forearms begin to glow in a fiery aura. He rises up and uppercuts the ninja directly in front of him, disintegrating it on contact. The remaining three throw punches at Inferno, who dodges by somersaulting forward landing on top of seat crouched down in a Spiderman-like stance. In the control room, Monica notices that plane is now being controlled. Ninjetsa floats up to the window and gives Monica a thumbs up. Monica returns the favor and heads to the seating area. She pauses at the sight of her brother fighting the ninjas)
Monica: Michael!! (Inferno looks to his sister and is tackled to the floor by a ninja) OOPS!
Inferno: Jerk! (the ninja grabs him in a choke hold) When does the pain start! ( Inferno tears both the ninja’s arms out of the sockets, causing a purple liquid to spurt out) they are Blackthornes! (Inferno punches the ninja in it’s skull and shatters his whole head like glass, then hops to his feet while extending his right arm) HELL’S PYTHON!! (a nickel-plated .357 colt python magnum appears in Inferno’s hand. The remain two ninjas cross leap at him from off the walls as he stands ready to fire. The ninja from the left attacks first but is blown to shreds by the bio-weapon. Inferno turns his attention to the ninja on the right who is inches from striking him. Inferno quickly steps between seats to dodge. Inferno then strikes the ninja in the back of it’s skull with the butt of the gun, before it hits the ground, he turns and kicks the ninja with his left foot up into the air spinning vertically, then finally blast him through the side of the airplane which breaks cabin pressure. Inferno is invulnerable to the pressure breach as loose items are sucked out into the sky. He makes his way to Monica)
Monica: Michael, look! (A young female passenger is sucked out into the sky ) NO!!!
Inferno: (dashes to the hole) Not on my watch!!! (he dives after the girl. There is only two thousand feet before she hits the airport runway) [I don’t have much time, falling too fast! I never tried this before, but here it goes…] (Inferno transforms into pure, red laser energy. As he strikes the girl, she disappears into the energy. In a matter of seconds, the Inferno beam hits the runway with the loudness and destructive force of a large meteor. Everyone in the airport feels the impact. Stryke and Ninjetsa places down the plane safely…)
Stryke: (yells) MONICA! (Stryke floats up and goes into the cabin through the hole to see Monica checking the passengers’ pulses)
Monica: (turns to Stryke) Everyone’s alive. Did my brother save that girl? (Monica turns her attention back to a awakening passenger for a second , then looks back to notice that Stryke is gone. Stryke and Ninjetsa float over to the area where Inferno landed. They both land at the edge of the twenty-foot crater. The dust hasn’t settled yet.)
Ninjetsa: Inferno? Hello?
(the dust clears, revealing a huge, red orb of energy which rises out five feet above the ground. The orb lands on the side of the crater opposite to the women. The red orb clears away; it’s Inferno, holding the girl cradled in his arms as she looks at both Ninjetsa and Stryke. He kneels down and lets the girl onto her feet)
Inferno: Are you okay? Um…
Girl: Kumiko, sir!
(the three Binarians revert to normal)
Michael: <speaks in Japanese> I am Michael Hayes. (points to Yetsumi and Mahami, floating over) These are my two friends Yetsumi Amano and Mahami Nedela.
Yetsumi: <Japanese> Hello, little one! (Kumiko smiles)
Mahami: (bows) hello…
Kumiko: (takes out a pendant and hands it to Michael) thank you! (leaps up into Michael arms and gives him a big hug. ( She looks to Yetsumi and Mahami) I thank you too!
Michael: (looks at the pendant) Wow, this is strange looking!
Kumiko: I need your help, those “ninjas’ have my dad. This is the mark of the man they work for. I do not know his name.
Yetsumi: (takes the pendant from Michael) let me see this, (looks at it and freezes) [Oh, no! Why now? After all these years…] ( Mahami and Michael notices how Yetsumi is staring at the pendant)
Mahami: Uh, Yetsumi, looks like you seen a ghost! (Yetsumi hands the pendant back to Michael)
Yetsumi: (stammering) No, not at all. Come on, Kumiko. (they walk off, heading to the airport. Michael and Mahami gaze at them for a few seconds and then look to each other as if they both agree on something. Shouting intensifies from a distance. Michael looks back to see Monica running to him…)
Michael: MONICA!!! (He runs up to meet her. They both embrace each other on contact and spin in a circle for a few seconds. They separate to look at each other up and down)
Monica: Wow! My brother the shaolin monk! (grins)
Michael: You’re a lot taller than I thought! Do you model, girl?
Monica: (Smiles as a tear falls from her left eye) Oh, that’s sweet of you! (she hugs him again)
Michael: don’t sell yourself short, Monica, I heard that you’re hardcore when it comes to Karate! You may have to teach me some moves.
Monica: These amazing powers we have…
Mahami: (clears her throat) so, that was your aura holding up the plane?
Michael: Monica, this one of my most trusted friends, Mahami Nedela.
Monica: (shakes Mahami’s hand) You’re “Stryke” , right?
Mahami: Yes, I am
Monica: Well, I have to ask you something… just how do they stay up like that? (pointing to Mahami’s two, long braids on top of her head)

Monica: I’ll really take that as a complement now that you mentioned that!
(The might trio heads back to the airport. Michael walks in between the ladies who just chatter on. He takes his attention away for a moment.
Michael: [Yetsumi, what are you keeping from us? After all this time, I was hoping you’ll talk to me…]
