As much as I like Madison, I'm realizing that there needs to be a fine balance with her. This episode, even though she was the central Westley kid, didn't exactly put her in the best way for her character. (Just like how "Eddie's Money" practically left her sticking to that ice sculpture.) Personally, I think Madison is a better character when she's more indirectly involved and just misses the point of obvious things entirely, instead of misinterpreting a situation that was hazy at best.
I did feel kinda sorry for her about getting hit with stuff, which apparently is normal for her, especially that frog. The parts with her getting confused by her questions being answered with other questions were good, as well as her 'thinking'. It's just about how I pictured her thought process would be. When in doubt, skip through the flowers and talk to Mr. Unicorn, I guess.

I rather agree. Madison is my favorite character, and her humour is best used when it comes out of leftfield. She was funny in this, but was a little overshadowed by the "lunchlady" humour. There was really an overabundance of times I just thought,,, "oOOo" :p
Her unicorn nonlinear thinking was a scream, and her not getting the question with a question was cute, especially since to her it was two different responses. and the frog was funny, at least in the context it was given :anime: thigs have to be really over the top to make Madison's smile disappear.

Aw, come on! Idiots are supposed to get hit and stuff. Madison is no exception.

Maybe getting an overabundance of Madison is actually bad for you?
The show seems to not be doing too well with the episodes where the show spotlights one character (counting the twins as one in this case). I'm not sure if I should be frightful that Tamika is the only one who hasn't gotten one yet... and when this season do we get it?
I totally agree that Madison, at least in this first case, can support an episode but can't carry it. I mean, is her being loopy with love the best way to go? And she couldn't even predict the right couples...
Then again... this is one of those typical holiday episodes... in this case, Valentine's Day... where some 'traditional plot' rules tend to be thrown out.
I wish this episode had something that could've saved it. But it didn't.
"Love is in the Hair... Net": 2.5/5.
