Well, those of you looking for anime or sophisticated dramas may be out of luck. There's a heck of a lot of info at:
http://www.tvguide.com/magazine/robins/010611.asp
Also, taken from the article, is a list of all five series in the block. Here they are:
* Aqua Teen Hunger Force, about an elite group of detectives who happen to be human-size food items.
* Harvey Birdman, an animated courtroom drama about a crusading attorney and his cartoon clients.
* Home Movies, about the misadventures of a third grader and the dysfunctional adults in his life.
* Sealab 2021, a kitsch-filled update of the Hanna-Barbera oldie.
* Leave It to Brak, a Space Ghost spinoff about a demented alien coping with sitcom family life.
The Harvey Birdman series could be a hoot, but... more Brak! Yay!

I better start stocking up on blank tapes now! I sure wish I had a DVD recorder to get all of these!

And now it's time for The Brak Show featuring Brak! Da da da da da da! It's The Bra-a-a-a-k Show, starring me, I'm Brak! It's The Brak Show, and I've got lots of good guests!

The rest sounds, well, iffy, but we have hope! Repeat, Houston, we have hope!
Well, maybe not for Birdman, if it's the "I must replenish my strength!" sun worshipping Birdman.

I'm looking forward to Harvey Birdman. I hope its better than Coast to Coast, which, IMO, is hit and miss. A Brak sitcom could be decent. I wish they'd do a Cartton Cartoon show of revamps of old HB shows. The shorties are a hoot. I'd love to see a show of that stuff.
Personally, I wish if CN was doing an adult block of programing that instead of most of this programming, that I won't watch, that they'd air longer Toonheads, more Black and white toons, some silent toons or uncensored Looney Tunes.

I think they will get around to airing thos eunedited classics. It seems like it would be the perfect venue to do it in. I'd love to see all this old unedited stuff.

I'll probably capture a couple blocks (ATI cards make great VCRS :) and CDRs take up a lot less space than video tape ) to see how many of these I actually like. I wasn't too impressed with CN latest offering, Time Squad. But Harvey Birdman and Leave It To Brak sound interesting.

Well, in early July a special episode of Toonheads will show clips from censored WWII toons, Japanese stereotyping and all. For more info:

I'm pretty sure it'll be the "My wife left me, my career's in the toilet, and I really need a chance please please please" Birdman we've seen on a few episodes of Coast to Coast. So it should be a hoot.
And unless I've been misinformed, every show except Home Movies will be done by Williams Street, the guys responsible for Space Ghost and all those wonderful original Cartoon Network commercials. So there is indeed much cause for hope.

I think the real trick of getting CN to air uncut LTs, providing they can get them from WB, will be advertisers. If they can't sell advertising, I don't think they will air them. Even at 3.00 am.
But there is a market. If CN could get sat and cable providers to pony up a spot, and /or get enough people willing to pay, subscribtion cartoon channel would be the ticket. Or they can revamp Boomerang and only air the same shows 2 times instead of 3-4 times daily.

* Leave It to Brak, a Space Ghost spinoff about a demented alien coping with sitcom family life.
*Crosses fingers*
Please don't let it bee like the Brak show, please don't let it be like the Brak show.
