I really wish that Cow & Chicken, Courage the cowardly dog, and Sheep in the big city would come to Boomerang. Who else feels the same and what do you wish to see appear?

I wish "Cow and Chicken" and its spin-off "I Am Weasel" as well as "Courage" would come to Boomerang, but not "Sheep in the Big City." It never really appealed to me and seemed rather boring.

Considering Mike Lu and Og has already aired on Boomerang, I'd think they would put on a cartoon cartoon that aired before it. I wish that they would put C&C on next, but personally i wish they would give us CN Too..

In terms of Cartoon Cartoons, the only one I like enough to watch on repeats is PPG. Since it has been 10 years since the second pilot ("Crime 101", which is regarded as the real first episode) first aired, I'd say put on. But I don't know if anyone else wants it back on the air too.

I mean they're airing "Mike, Lu & Og" AND Dexter. Why not PPG?

I wouldn't have a problem with it, as long as they replace the pre-school crap and not more classics.

I don't like it much either but it's a good "I don't have nothing else to do so I'll watch this" cartoon. :D

I would.

Yeah, I don't want Boomerang filled up with crap that kids hated 4-5 months ago. lol. What makes them think stuff like that will do any better on Boomerang?

Actually, it was late in 2005 that CN began looking at Boomerang as their "kids" channel. They considered much of the progamming (early hb stuff) was already totally family friendly - aka "kid safe". Since then they have been slipping in more and more of the kiddie fare. By doing so, CN can expand their Adult Swim stuff with less complaints from parents upset at 'non-kids' programming. Now CN can tell those parents to watch Boomerang instead.

Will admit to 'wincing' everytime a modern show (Duck Dodgers, Batman, Dexter, and now Krypto and such) comes on. Just means less of the older shows. So sad.

Duck Dodgers is ok, for some reason it feels natural being on Boomerang. Maybe it's just me.

I'll admit that I'd like to see more classics but if one modern cartoon would have to be put on I want it to be Cow & Chicken. I hope you guys don't think I'm obsessed with C & C or anything but with Boomerang bringing back all of those memories...:crying:

If Dexter's Lab and Justice League can be on there, then so do I. I miss I Am Weasel.

Zumbido Metal,

And the worst is that, here in Brazil and on Latin America, after the modifications happened on Boomerang Latin America last April, they included the pre-school stuff in the mornings, the teenage programming in the afternoons and in the evenings, and the classics (which was the basis of the channel) were thrown to the late night schedule.

Except the ones currently aired on Boomerang are at least 10 years old, which is my personal standard regarding things like this.

Boomerang already has enough cartoons that Cartoon Network sent over (2 Stupid dogs anyone?)

Classic Cartoons: Looney Toons, Tom and Jerry, the original Scooby Doo, Flinstones, Jetsons. Even Smurfs.

I don't even want the Cartoon Cartoons we HAVE on Boomerang there. Why would I want MORE of them on? Instead, I think Boomerang should stop running Pink Panther so much, expand the Boomeraction block with some more classic action toons (G-Force, G1 if they can buy it, Centurions), and give me Alvin and the Chipmunks and Fantastic Max, since I love those shows and neither (especially FM) can be found on DVD.

Those shows - they're all on now! Apart from 2 Stupid Dogs & Sheep in the big city.
They start at about 10pm and continue all through the night
I watch em practically everynight ^_^

Uh....what? Yeah, I guess Dexter comes on and so does Cow and Chicken, but the rest of those shows don't come on. And I KNOW they don't come on "all through the night".

Meh. Duck Dodgers is a quality cartoon that if nothing else has a strong relation to classic stuff. And Batman, well, Batman's about 15 years old now. I can't figure out why people complain about intelligent shows that are at least related to classic shows. I mean, GMB, Baby Looney Tunes, Krypto (though I enjoy that show)? Sure, they have no place on Boomerang.

Incidentally...can someone explain why What's New Scooby Doo airs? There are more spin-offs of Scooby than I care to count or even think of counting, and yet we only get the newest incarnation? WTH is up with that? I mean, I show no love for the original, but some of the later ones were a little fun. (13 Ghosts, Pup Named...)

I think it's too soon for 1990s shows to be on Boomerang in general. Wait a few years.

Early 90's I would say is OK, (and I had been waiting for). The first couple of Cartoon Cartoon shows are the absolute limit. For anything afterwards, they should open back up TBS or TNT. Severl years from now, then move stuff like Mike, Lu & Og to Boomerang.

I don't get people complaining about 90's stuff on Boomerang. I mean, realistically speaking, CN will probably never air Cow and Chicken again. And come on, TBS and TNT? That's even less likely. Those channels are probably NEVER going to touch animation again, let alone fifteen year old cartoons... though I don't watch those channels very much, so I wouldn't know if they DID air some random 90's cartoon cartoons...

It never really appealed to me and seemed rather boring.I don't see a need for Courage on Boomerang because it already has a primetime slot on Mondays-Thursdays on CN.

The reason why I say it's too early for them to be thinking about putting 1990s shows on Boomerang is because, in my eyes, the 90s wasn't that long ago. I was 13 in the year 1990 and I remember it like yesterday. Yes, 17 years ago. That's why they can wait like 2-3 years before they start putting 90s shows on there....ooops, too late, they already have Dexter's Laboratory and such.
