This is the talkback thread for "Krypto," "Gerald" Coming to Boomerang (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=14527).

Well, looks like Boomerang won't be completely free from newer shows.

CN Too, here we come!

Boomerang should just call themselves Cartoon Network 2 already.

Have you seen the schedule lately? It's still far from Cartoon Network 2 (Too), especially compared to like half a year ago. It's still Boomerang right now, probably about 85-90% of it.

I don't see this as that big a deal. Every time Boomerang puts on a newer show (He-Man, Pokémon, Baby Looney Tunes, etc.), it doesn't last more than a few months.

While this is more CN-cancelled(?)-show-dumping, at least Krypto and Gerald, given their classic-animation-influenced styles, fit into Boomerang a lot better than the likes of "Pokemon"...

Could be worse, we could've gotten Peppa Pig or Firehouse Tales.

True that.

What?! Boomerang should be for classic cartoons, not preschool shows.

Why? They won't last long. They're more than likely just filler until they can get something else.

Eh, technicly this actually has some Older Cartoon Roots. Krypto is a DC Show, and GMB was a classic cartoon from the 50s i read.

But these really shouldn't be on

Is it the Tickle U Version Of GMB or the original 1957 version?

How about keeping Dennis the Menace on the schedule and bringing back Garfield & Friends? Or better yet, Boomerang can build their own Tickle U using older shows:

- Flinstone Kids
- A Pup Named Scooby Doo
- Tom & Jerry Kids
- Yo! Yogi!
- Muppet Babies
- Baby Looney Tunes (If they must)

It's going to be the (ex-)Tickle U version.
