Which version of Tweety Bird do you think was better? I consider the Clampett Tweety much funnier. Freleng's version is just a whiny little tattletale who has to have granny or the bulldog around to protect him.

I hate to sound like John Kricfalusi, but Bob Clampett's Tweety is miles better.

What's wrong with sounding like John Kricfalusi?

Clampett's Tweedy, much like his Bugs, was miles ahead of anyone else's.

Most people are familiar with the Freleng version, which is more or less the definitive version currently. Though that one was somewhat of a metrosexual...Clampett's Tweety version was much more proactive and had a mean streak about him, actually going the extra route to harm his tormenter, even when they clearly were defenseless.

No. It's too easy. I'll take the high road.
But I'll agree. I like the bast Tweety with the Seussian smile and the evil intentions rather than the sugar-sweet canary version that people still think is a girl.
