How could they even be afraid of harmless animals in the wild?
I'm just ripping of Red here, He needs to come back.

LOL Well they explained it in the movie why they were afraid of the animals in the wild, they've never had to deal with such a thing before. There zoo animals so they've pretty much had to keep to themselves and learn about the facts of wild in case some thing like this did happen. Any ways I enjoyed the movie, it was pretty funny. I thought there would be more action than that but I enjoyed it LOL. The frog guy Pricple Pixie or whatever that guy's name is, is pretty humorous. I also liked Adam being with the Yogi rip off Bear LOL. Jakes plot was funny, poor Jake having to almost marry that thing LOL. And I did like how they showed Jakes/Adams friendship in the movie. So over all I give a 10/10. Also I noticed the animation seemed some what better than normal.

That's because it's in widescreen baby and everything is better in widescreen.

Let's hope they don't stretch this to full screen.

I wonder if they will do this for the Ed, Edd n Eddy movie too? That's next right?

I'm just ripping of Red here, He needs to come back.Well yea, this section has always been more liberal that others about letting members make the Talkbacks they want. I liked that. It realyy isn;t a TB heavy section.

The "wild animals" even ones that are harmless are "survival of the fittest" Zoo animals see them as aggressive, life and death eat or be eaten. Not something they can relate too. Fear anyone fighting for their life.

He, or someone is here more often that you'd expect. It 's quiet and you miss it if you're not looking for it.

The show it's self was funny enough to make me watch it all the way through. There were some dead spots for me, but not overall bad. I'm getting used to their style of humour.

(And I keep coming up with blanks trying to get an image for the talk back, CN refuses to load anything.

Shows how much I cared for this movie. I forgot it was even scheduled. Sunday really just feels awkward for CN Premieres. Doing it today on MLK Day would have been a better idea. Oh and making a better movie premise would have helped too...

When it comes to movies of thier cartoon series, CN certainly doesn't fail to dissapoint. This movie was quite funny. Top scenes in my opinion:

-The chimpmunks. They're cute and funny
-Nice Yogi Bear and Boo Boo reference
-The final scene with its surprises and jokes.

What is this... Movie year? We're getting a different original movie every month. Next is Camp Lazlo, then Billy and Mandy.

Only good, redeeming quality was Pixiefrog's ridiculous Band hat.

Wow, this was actually...good? Caught the re-run at 5, and I have to admit, I was surprised at how a Gym Partner episode could be good.

But all CN movies so far were awesome, no matter what the series. Let's think:
Ego Trip (Dexter's Lab)
House of Bloo's (Foster's)
Good Wilt Hunting (Foster's)
Operation: Z.E.R.O. (KND)
Trouble in Tokyo (Teen Titans)
And Now this.
All great, even with some shows not so good.

I can't wait for what's next. I love Lazlo, and watch Billy and Mandy every now and then. I don't like Ed, Edd, and Eddy, but considering how much I liked this, and all of the other CN original movies, I'll give it a chance.

I give this episode, compared to other episodes of the show, a 10/10
But compared to other CN movies, I give it a 7/10

My God, this was masochistic to watch.

Actually, that's an understatement.

Wow, i've heard almost nothin about the Lazlo one.., other than it was being made, hack, we already have the DVD cover for B&M..

I've onlty watched the first half, and i'm modestly suprised, since i don't really care for Gym Partner

1st Half: B

Okay, I'm gonna give my humor ratings for the character bits in this movie and the show in general.

Adam & Jake: 2-3/10; they hardly ever produce a worthwhile joke, and Adam abuse is really wearing thin...

Other kids: 3-5/10; fluctuates between suitable hit to pathetic miss. Windsor, however...

Armadillo kid: 6/10; he's good for a laugh now and then, plus his ending was genuinely clever.

Teachers: 7/10; Pixiefrog, Mandrill, Warthog, they got a good thing going.

Windsor: 9/10, as in, 9 out of 10 things he says and does is comedic genius. Seriously, you can't spell Windsor without WIN. He's the show's primary saving grace, no doubt.

The thing is, there are some things about "Gym Partner" that are well done. The character design is fine, the voices are great, the animation isn't bad...but the writing is just about the worst there is. Ever heard that old saying, "He's not a bad actor - he's no actor at all"? A similar metaphor regarding authorship would be applicable here, and I'd think one up, but you know, it's just not worth the trouble.

This was BAD. 'Nuff said.

Now that I think about it, Windsor was and is and always will be the best character on the show. He easily won the movie too.
