No, the smoking's there. The only bad thing about the DVD is the crappy commentaries.

Thanks.SO do you know why did they dub mammy two shoes? She was dubbed in order to get rid of some of the more "politically incorrect" parts of her original "black" voice (for instance, in "Puss Gets the Boot", the original version has her spelling "out" O-W-T).

I really prefer her original voice though as it was classic.Don't you?

I really prefer her original voice though as it was classic.Don't you? Most definitely. The "dubbed" version takes some of the charm away from :twoshoes: .

I sincerely hope Warner releases original uncut boxsets for all their shows in the later years.

I used to date an older woman (I was 20-21 she was in her mid 40s) from upstate NY (Rochester) (I lived on Long Island) her voice reminded me of the original Mammy2shoes voice. The new one isn't that bad but I prefer the first one. It nevered offened me and white characters such as Fred Flintstone used that O-W-T gag before so I believe they should have kept her voice untouched. I could see why they would redub it for TV but the DVD should have been left alone.
