So, how do you feel about Cartoon Theatre each week? I happen to be a little annoyed that they air the same stuff over and over again. They should show some different movies. I assume they have rights to some more.

I am truly surprised that CN doesn't possess the rights to the following films:

Cats Don't Dance
The Iron Giant
The Secret of N.I.M.H.

I don't care if they end up showing stuff like "Jetsons: the Movie".
As long as they stop - now and for always - airing the "Land Before Time" sequels: all 30 of them!

It will be a while till CN gets the rights to Iron Giant. HBO has the rights at the moment.

Actually, I remember reading that Turner (which is also owned by AOLTW, like HBO) got the rights to "Iron Giant," specifically TNT. However, I'm almost 100% certain that after the movie airs on HBO, it will shift to Cartoon Network.

I, too, am tired of the same movies, but last April Turner signed a deal to air all Dreamworks films on their networks (The WB, TNT, TBS, Cartoon Network) and films like, "The Road to El Dorado," "Shrek," "Spirit" etc. will all air on Cartoon Network in the future. To read the news story I posted from the old Toon Zone News, click here (http://www.toonzone.net/news/2001/apr/28/dreamworks-cn.html). So, many, many Dreamworks films will be heading to Cartoon Theatre. It's just a matter of time until they do so.
